No..that's fine Mrs. Kaen. In fact, It's good to have you back in the action. The more other people are in and doing things..the less I have to try to cover EVERYTHING just on my own. sweatdrop Though...In earlier posts I had put things in place to have somone sent Soi's room...we'll just have to play that off as neglegence.
Also..on another note..anyone...(Potential Tiny Spoiler)...at the part where Nakago walks Yui through the wall...is that something he can do? Or was that a Miboshi thing? Because I would LOVE to play with that abaility...Muwahahahahah! Please advise..if you know.

Subaru, Toying with the Gaurds (Korin-Chan) Oooh so he was faltering? Excellent! Her face brightened and she took a step backwards, bouncing up onto the rim of the fountain before observing him once more. She then tilted her head to one side before carefully walking around the edge...why ever would she want to come peacefully?
Again, a smile lit up her delicate features and soon she was back round to where she had started however now, she had what appeared to be a little egg in her hand. Her head then tilted to the other side and she grinned teasingly as she revealed the tiny egg more clearly.
"Last chance to give up...and come peacefully..." She mimiced. 
ninja ninja ninja ~Elites and Gaurds~::The gaurd was visably showing his colors now...a twist of fear and curiosity and confusion. He couldn't very well back down though..under the watchful eye of the black cloaks Kind of like Police officers and Feds......he was in a lose lose situation. He knew that they would have no quams about killing him for disobeying them. Likewise she had just threatened him! If it hadn't been for the fact thatshe had deflected his attack without...well..anything to him anyway...he would not have worried about the egg she produced...but something in his gut bit at him, he turned tot the other gaurds and barked at them to attack so he would not have to be alone. In turn...they following orders from their superior...and also knowing that they were under watchful eyes moved to surround the fountain. Since he was already in position, the lead gaurd decided this time, he would swing his blade, not the hilt and he would strike the strange egg she produced first and then the others would be in position for them to try and subdue her. He brough t his swor up again, but this time...didn't pull around to hit with the hilt, slashed at her hands and egg::::The three cloacks watched as the gaurds formed around her...more gathered at the gardens edges, though staying back to see what happened. The one had the silken strands ready and was ready to weave a web of them throughout the entire garden should he have to, the next had prepared his darts and held a blow-gun, looking like a flute ready to strat firing them off, and the third, the one who had sent the gaurds in, waited with his hand sickle. He would be the first one down when these gaurd failed...he was alrady asuming they would...but they would be used to buy time for them to finish preparations, and/or for the higher powers who were approaching to arrive.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Soi (Haku Kaen) As an elusive shadow the intruder flitted from one point to the next, undetected for the better part of morning. And so the other woman of the grounds had drifted as well. Upon awakening with the strange sensation of an unbalanced twinge in the tense atmosphere, Soi had first forced herself into waiting for the summon to the meeting. It was when there was no such call that restlessness took a hold of her active thoughts and she sought them out herself, only to find that the secret and true pinnacle of their empire was absent. She did come to realize that another had returned despite the departure of one or the other, however. And that other familiar acquaintance on the grounds of tolerating one another alone, she knew Tomo was back as well.
So their gathering further signified the coming of the priestess she did not yet see, and had no true desire to. Instead of associating with the others to further some false mask of pleasantries, she had gone to the shrine of Seiryuu to simply meditate. Only to find that her own god had rejected her. But that wasn't the case, as she came to realize while the sparks of a seal faded from her fingertips. Someone else of the physical world had done this, and that was the tipped suspicion she had formerly attempted to ignore. She had managed to work off one of the pentagram star points with a counter of lightening to protect her hand from the other white fire that sought to burn her, slender digits closing around the paper seal after she had felt for the invisible tag to rip it violently off and away. She only had to spare a passing glance to the runes before her energy consumed and burned it to air. Byakko. She could work on this later.
A moment's and breathless guards later, Soi had been hurrying toward the gardens rather than the priestess' room. She was informed that Nakago and Amiboshi had already arrived, and she could feel Nakago's familiar energy being used to the Lady Yui's aid. No matter how far away or faint, that ripple of raw power was one that she would always be able to distinguish. She couldn't be jealous, as it was simply their job. What was there to be jealous of? Nevertheless, she chose not to go there, or see them. And instead, she was there to attend the trifling of the pale, azure, haired beauty dancing about the palace gardens with the gaurds.
Let them play with her, other rather her with them, the other female warrior thought as she regarded them idly. There would come a time of her own. Of the Power of Byakko, Spellcraft! (Korin-Chan) True, the seals appeared to be easily destroyed however...upon ones destruction another did appear to replace it and the kanji upon it grew darker, the pulse increasing as though responding to the challenge. With every seal torn off, another would replace it, another of more power and as each was touched, the pain of contact would grow more fierce.
Evidently..the simplest of spells could be the most deadly when wielded by a magi...  ::Nakago's focus on Yui's condition and the Byakko had left him to overlook the strange happeneings of the shrine. he had not gotten there himself the way thngs had gone on this day, and was still under the assumption that it was the Byakko's doing that placed Yui in her condition. And even if not..he would still place the blame there to serve his purposes, when the Shrine issue was to be brought to his attention..this would only strengthen his positions concerning the way things were to be perceived. So, still unaware of the fact that they were locked from their own shrine...though not completely ingnorant...as that biting feeling was still i n his gut...he strode towards the gardens himself. That was what she wanted it seemed. He thought he felt Soi moving about near the gardens..as thats where hi focus lied. This was good...He could leave Tomo out of it..having had him use his abilities ont he Byakko, and still to need him after this issue was resolved. And Amiboshi was with Yui...that coupled with his barrier of life force...so she was not completely defensless, Regaurdless of her current state. Amiboshi would attempt his spell..and doctors were being gathered. After turning a corner, Nakago was suprised to see the Kutou emperor and some of his own soldiers, bodygaurds:: Kutou Emperor and BodyGaurds"Nakago! What is going on! ::He demanded, "hidden" amoungst his body gaurds who moved along en masse with him as everything was agitated:: ::Nakago's feaures now went from severe to all but disgust. His frown deepened but he responded quickly, trying not to break pace. Not only did he not want to deal with him now..he wanted to reach the gardens::
"A Byakko Seishi has paid us visit and turned it into an attack...she is corenered in the garden, and order should be restored soon. Barricade yourself in your chambers and I will have somone sent up when the situation is cleaned up..."
::And with that he rounded another corner..it would make him have to take a longer route to the gardens...but he wanted more to be out of the emperor's precsence than to arrive in the garden faster. He left the Emperor with a half worrid look on his face and screaming after him "NAKAGO!", which he pretended not to hear and continued towards the gardens::

ninja ninja ninja Elites and "Dumb"Founded Soldiers::The singing gaurd had half expected an immediate reaction from the attack..but as the girl moved and the sword sliced the shell..he simply paused, a bit ont he confused side. Then the the other's were in plce and about to attack when the egg burst into smoke and dust. All of them were thouroughly disoriented and started coughing and hacking at ths smoke and had to shield their eyes from the starnge multi colored dust. By the time everything had cleared, She was gone and they all looked around confused::::The elites watched with interest as the gaurds began their attack. When the egg exploded and she was shrouded in the dust and smoke..they tried to catch wind of anyhting going on...but couldn't more than wait att his point...glancing quickly between themselves and the scene below. when finally hthe dust did clear anbd she was not there...they glanced between eachother once more then dissapeaarded from veiw...back to find her again, sneaking off in the way they were trained to do.::- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Nakago Stopped in the middle of the hallway and looked straight up. 'First you demand I come to you..then you scream around the palace grounds like you own the place...You are making this game less enjoyable...' He thought to himself. He decided to continue towards the gardens for now...he would settle in the East garden..the more decorated..the morst lush..the most cared for as it was representitive of Kutou in the East and she could come there..Galavanting off on the Palace rooftops was not something he cared to do. The gaurds were centered in the west garden, and there would not be much to deal with, save Seiryuu Seishi. With Amiboshi with Yui..he figured that even if she went for her, he would have time to get there. Amiboshi was not defensless. He took the next turn and headed into the east garden, where he stood next to one of the ornate fountains and waited::

Nakago ::This was good. The boy had the dedication...and the events of the day seemed to be increasing his faith in the cause...in them...in him. Still borderline paranoid, Nakago did not completely remove the shroud of his energy around Yui...though he lessened it greatly so as to not impede the boy's spell. 'Failure is not an option...'...His thoughts were interupted by a "surge" of foreign energy in the garden. He had said all he should need to. He closed the door and strode down the halway towards the garden at quite a pace. Something was still amiss...but he could not quite put his finger on it...::

Takefumi Tonami As the door shut, Amiboshi took a deep breath, and began to play. The notes were long, and the melody slow, but it quickly built up into a crescendo. He focused all of his ki into the notes, praying for the wellness of the priestess. May this song give you the strength to overcome all that impedes you...

Subaru mused as she stalked along the rooftops, derobing to such an extent as to have free movement, "This is fun," she continued and leaned over the roof slightly to check the temple...she could sense her magic was still there, pulsing and growing stronger; it seemed someone had disturbed it but she wouldn't correct that little accident, the stronger the barrier, the better.
"But I think that perhaps..." She dropped down from the roof, into the east garden with her thoughts elsewhere, landing on her knees before scuttling across the lawn, "I should really pack up," she slowed her pace somewhat and canted her head to the side as she examined the next wall...now did she jump or teleport? Both would exert physical strength.
She really was less than observant at times however, she hadn't even noticed she had company.
"Ala jump...o...ala teleport?" She murmured to herself, extending her arms in a similar fashion to that of scales.

The east Garden. A comprimise...she would not come to him where he was, he did not go to her...and they would meet elsewhere Lower and closer on the roof she approached...Nakago's thoughts now snapped entirely to the events at hand...and he swirled his hand slowly in the water. As she dropped into the garden, he paused in place...surely she would be approaching..and she did...and walked right no past him...as if he wasn't there....He was a bit confused at the moment. Tomo wasn't working his magic...so there was no illusion shrouding him....nor was he at all trying to hide hijmself..but her thoughts were elsewhere and she was completely oblivious to his prescence. He stood, silent, not moving..his hand still submerged in the cold water, not doing more than breathing as she passed and aproached the wall...he heard every word and finall piped up..making his prescence completely known in many ways. For effect, he remained looking at the water as he began::
"Definitely Ala Jump...as presently..."
::As he spoke the next words he began focusing his own power aroun the garden...a small barrier...just one to limit the use of her powers as an escape route, accomplishing 3 things...making his own prescence and life force felt more then normal, adding credence to the next part of his sentence, as the barrier was not aimed at physically stopping her from leaving...not at the moment anyway...just powers...and giving him the advantage if they were to fight.::
"...As presently...you might find Ala teleport a little constrianed and difficult."
::He held back a smirk::
"Leaving so soon? And you had only just returned from your last little trip..."

"Leaving?" She had quickly recovered from the initial shock of the company and calmly began to undo the ribbons from her hair to free it. It was a method of allowing her to look thoughtful as she examined the situation more closely and developed a solution to it. However, at present the idea of jumping while he was in the same area as her was not a pleasant idea...he was a man after all.
"Nay," She replied at last, shaking her head as she placed her hands on her hips and observed him, her brow raising somewhat as she took the being before her into account. Never a dull moment eh?
"I was merely exploring the palace grounds, I paid a visit to your temple, I must say it is very pretty and then I simply had a little look at the gardens...but alas, your little minions had to make quite the scene, I was enjoying myself and now POOF I am the enemy!" She released a heavy sigh and shook her head as a sad expression flickered across her features.
"Nevertheless...how might I help you?" She chirped.

[gomen everyone that i was gone a bit longer but things just kept coming up for me sweatdrop but i'm baaaaaaaaaaaack! ....I know i do tend to state the obvious >.>]
Her fingers slowly began to move as a small cough escaped her lips, the piece of fruit she had eaten earlier coming out with the cough. Hearing the flutes melody, Yui's hands reached up to rub her eyes open but a blank look crossed her face as her elbow hit Nakago's barrier that was formed around her. Confusion was written all over her face as she slowly gazed around the room before it finally fell on Amiboshi. Her memory was a bit fuzzy at the moment to the point where she didn't seem to recognize where she was, who she was, or who that man sitting next to her bedside was. So many questions flew threw her mind as her pale blue eyes seemed to be peircing right through Amiboshi's very soul, trying to identify him as a person she knew or not.

Welcome back Niftyness. Don't worry about being late in coming. Life takes prescedence...(Sorry to those that have heard that enough times to call me a broken record...on one note, the barrier was not meant to be restrictive to Yui..just to anyone else trying to get to/at her. She chirped.  ::Nakago chuckled at what he said...lightly...enough to be heard..but not overdone, then swirled his hand in the water once more, sending ripples against those being formed by the flowing waters The chuckle was double edged...partially to masque his thoughts when she mentioned "visiting the temple"...that could not be good...but then...this was the first indication he had of anything going on there...He would investigate later...and also concerning her depiction of her return here and the goings on pre and during.::
"Do you think I have forgotten our late meeting so quickly?"
::At this point...he still was turned towards the water but slowly drew it out and let the water drip back into the fountian.::
"The palace gaurds were doing their jobs....seeking out and attempting to capture an intruder...and you became the enemy after you were let leave by the graces of Seiryuu...and then returned to our palace with malign intent."
::He shook the water remaining on his hand off into the fountain now and finally turned to face her. His hand, still slightly wet and significantly cold because of the water...perfect for sending shivers down ones spine...::
"You wish to help me?"
::He questioned, walking towards her::
"Then undo that which you have done!"
::He narrowed his eyes at her as he approached. His accusation was actually concerning his misconceived notion of what was going on with Yui. But it would work for both, right, wrong, or otherwise. All this time he had been entirely focused on her..the intruder and had not caught any hint..other than that gut feeling...of anyhting wrong at the Temple...much less Yui's awakening and motion against his barrier. In his haste, he had made it completely restrictive in the area around her instead of just one to keep anyone else out...it also kept her in. It would be allright though....a enemy Seishi was in the palace, all but running free. It would not be held gaainst him...the precaution.::

She asked at last, her eyebrow raising as she took a step backwards evidently attempting to avoid contact with the one who was in such a terrible mood with her, "Because...I did a lot of things, like scaring your guards and sneaking in, which would you like me to er...'undo'?" She continued taking another step backwards and offering a coy smile.

Yui's eyes slowly tore their intense gaze away from Amiboshi as her mind digested what was said to her. At first she wasn't sure if he was speaking to her but the two of them seemed to be the only two in the room and he was making direct eye contact with her. The name Yui didn't seem to ring a bell to her, everything was still a bit fuzzy. Everything was so confusing at the moment and she had no clue why there happened to be a barrier around her. Her gaze slowly fell back on Amiboshi as she opened her mouth to answer his questions, "A bit fuzzy..." Yui truthfully answered, her voice pausing for a second before continuing, "Are you my brother?" Yui asked, as she glanced over at her reflection in the mirror to see a girl with sandy blonde hair to be starring back at her. She wasn't even sure if she had any siblings but nothing really made sense for her at the moment. It was like she was stuck in some kind of dream world where nothing made sense.

"Hmmph...And I had thought you had come back to see me..." ::He said with a bit or sarcasm::
"Cute..."
::He continued towards her...not excessively menacingly, Just slowly approaching::
"But I don't have the time or patience to play cute right now. I am referring to your purpose for returning here. I know you did not return to survey the palace...if that had been your desire...you would have done so on your first trip while you were still in good standing with us...however...our graces are fading quickly."
::He narrowed his eyes at her as he continued slowly approaching::
