Jessy smiles at Ken wondering what he was up to, though it looked as if he had been to the gym. "Looks like you've had quite a workout. Boss making you run errands or something?" She smiles again not really expecting an answer to that question. Leaning forward on the counter she asks,"Anyway, is there something I can help you with?"

Once Res was in bed, Kala walked to the bathroom, and took out some guaze, some tape, and an ace bandage. Setting them aside, she took out two clean washcloths, wet one down, then took and set them on the bed in easy reach. She saw how tense the girl was, and her heart ached to have to cause her more pain. Kissing Cain as he brought the glass of orange juice, she set it on the nightstand. Cain, sweetie, bring me a bowl of warm water. Res, this will sting just a bit, but I need to clean your arm before I bandage it.

She worked quickly blotting the area around the wound, careful not to open it again, rinsing the cloth out twice in the bowl of water when Cain brought it to her. She saw it was seeping blood once more from when Res had struggled against her, and quickly taped a thick pad of gauze on top, just enough to hold it in place, then wrapped the ace bandage around her arm. Let me know if this feels too tight, but I want to keep some more pressure on that gash since it's still bleeding slightly, and I don't want to risk opening it further. Once that was done, she gathered everything back up in a pile, leaving the gauze and tape out on the nightstand beside the juice just in case a dressing change was needed later.

Sitting back on her haunches, she sighed. Okay, that's the best I can do outside of taking you to a doctor. The juice is beside you on the nightstand. I'll bring you in a sandwich in a little while. And Res...? Thank you. She gave the girl a very warm smile before gathering the rest of the things back up.

Reselda remained tense but still as Kala tended to her arm though she was staring at the wall the entire time trying to fight back the tears but failing to do so. As soon as Kala finished and had walked out of the room Reselda curled up into a tiny ball as far from the door as she could and almost instantly fell asleep though it was anything but peaceful as she was almost immediately trapped in nightmares. She softly whimpered with a "No Daddy please don't. I'm sorry I won't do it again I promise." mixed in now and then. twisted

Jessy tries not to listen to the conversation too much as she felt it would be rude to do so. Besides it wasn't a very interesting topic, although it sounded almost as if he was trying to hide something. Figuring it wasn't her concern she pretends not to notice. "You're very welcome, as always. Seems I've rescued you twice in one day. I'd say that's a record for me." She says in a teasing manner as she takes the phone back.

"Well I hope your boss wasn't too upset about what happened to your bike... So looks like you have to wait for a ride. Can I get you anything else?Something to eat or drink? I think Mrs. Marko still has stuff for sandwhiches if you'd be interested." She steps away from the counter and walks around to the other side.

Laughing softly Jessy rubs the back of her neck as she's noticeably blushing at his comment. She hadn't really considered being a hero, too much work really. She'd much rather read or work in her sketch book. "I suppose they are always in search of more members." Standing on the front side of the counter she leans back against it, her elbow resting on the glass top of the display case portion if it. "Yeah, I've always loved this stuff. Although I must say the musty smell isn't something that I enjoy, but it comes with the territory. There is a lot you can learn from the past which can help you to better understand the future. At least that's how I look at it. I'm an Art History major...what's yours again?" Her vibrant green eyes sparkle as she talks about the things that interest her.

Jessy nods, "Ah yes, I think I remember you saying something about that before." She follows him with her eyes as he picks up the artifact. She wasn't exactly sure on the details of that particular item so it took her a minute to recall what Mr. Marko had told her."That...if I remember correctly is a Zirawaba glave from the same tribe in South Africa. Not too sure on it's age. The Marko's brought it back on one of their trips."

It took several minutes for the shock to wear off Jessy as the one and only Jason Arc made his appearance in the small store. This was the first time she had ever actually seen him this close and personal. As soon as he had entered the shop she found herself standing up straighter her hands folded together in front of her. Then when he made the comment about double parking she couldn't help but smile and laugh softly to herself. At least he seemed to have a sense of humor about him.

She watches as Mr. Arc admires the samurai sword on the wall display."Certainly, sir. It is a very beautiful piece. As for commission Ken, I don't usually, but perhaps Mr. Marko would make an exception in this case." Grinning she makes her way over to that very sword and carefully gets it down. Of course it was a bit heavy for her. She hopes not to drop it as she has the tendency to do so when excited."Anything else I can help you with Mr. Arc?" She smiles sweetly as she wraps up his purchase.
