Ruby red eyes flickered to his partner for a moment, studying him. Riten's eagerness was apparent, but he couldn't deny him his prey much longer. His eyes traveled downwards to the 'animal' attached to the leash his partner held. His eyes grew sharper with hatred, though a smirk began to creep upon his thin face.

Versel's smirk grew into a rather fiendish grin. Stretching his arm out, he held his hand out with palm out-stretched; towards Riten for the leash. Mustn't let the retch get away, shan't we? "We wouldn't want that thing to drag you down while hunting, hm? Oh, and don't let the Wyrms kill you Riten."

Riten surrendered the leash to his partner, refusing to glance at that monster. With that thought still ringing in his mind, he let the change pull him in until a fully grown tiger stood in his place. Stretching idly, he let loose a silent yawn. Changing his voice back to that of a human came as naturally as breathing. "Those overgrown lizards? Never."

Grinning, he slipped off, moving silently but swiftly through the night with the grace that came with being this easy killing machine. However, the girl was wanted alive. He slowed down a little when he got nearer, crouching low in the grass so as to not be seen. He needed them to be distracted by something. Already, one was staring away from the girl. He posessed the confidence that he could pass by the other wyrm unnoticed, but the girl would likely scream when he grabbed her, and that would alert them both. So... he played the waiting game.

Brytan watched the lycan head off, his lead being held by the other. Damn dark elf, he thought. He moved slightly in his tattered clothes to a crouch, his hands making the least movement of all. It was time to see if Versel was concentrated on his work or that handsome tiger stalking through the night. Grinning behind the cloth, he decided it was time to give Versey some hell.

Brytan pushed up and back with all his might, leaping and jerking his hands in hopes that the cord would slip. He could run faster than both of them, he was sure. The grass behind him cushioned his fall, making it that much easier for him to regain his ground.

Keeping his eyes locked on Riten, he watched the tiger until he could no longer be seen. Good, this would be done and over with so quickly... Versel felt the leash suddenly escape his hand, and his eyes shot open as it was yanked from his grip. The dark elf rounded towards Brytan, eyes swirling with shock, disbelief, and a under-tone of rage. "Why you little b*****d..!" He ground out; leaping forward as he said it with his arm outstretched, in hopes to catch the leash again.

Senka's ears shot straight up, her eyes directed towards the forest and completely away from the impending danger. What the...? Had she heard a voice?

Brytan couldn't stay away. When the other man's hand enclosed around the other end of the leash, he wasn't all that surprised. "Foiled, yet again." He said, eyes glittering at the other. "Come on, Versey, take my muzzle off." He asked, staying sat down on the ground as the grass swayed slightly. "I won't biiiiite." Okay, so he was lying.

Riten noticed his query distracted. He slunk closer, evading making too much noise. He needed her to be quiet... The tiger's muscles tighted as he prepared to pounce, watching the two wyrms as if one might turn and sense his intentions. Finally he believed it safe. He leapt forth with the greatest speed possible, half changing while on all fours. His pads slipped into human like hands, allowing him to grab her and cover her mouth. "Not a word, not a thought." He hissed as quietly as possible, dragging her backwards and away from the two wyrms.

He hated that look. The glitter in Brytan's eyes, daring him to do what the monster wanted him to do. He hated him. And over all, he really hated that nickname. Versel tightened his grip on the leash, yanking on it slightly. "Shut your mouth." He turned around, seeing Riten dragging the girl.

Senka's eyes widened as a hand covered her mouth, a being WAY stronger then her drag her away. Her ears lay flattened against her head as she submitted, a horrible remnant from her heritage. Senka's golden eyes flew to the two Wyrms, wishing for them to at least notice her absense soon but not daring to think a single word.

Brytan fell forward with the jerk, tugging back lightly. Tug of war wasn't his favorite game, but hell knew his wrists couldn't get any more scarred. "Y'know, Versey, if I screamed... you'd have two very large problems on your hands, wouldn't you?" Brytan smirked, tugging lightly again. "Just imagine... Two shadow wyrms alerted to your presence. I daresay the gore would be... terribly beautiful." He tried not to think about the blood that would be all over his pretty grass, hence why he hadn't tried this method yet. The poor grass didn't deserve it.

Riten grinned, not loosening his grip at all. This was going to be easier than previously anticipated. Once they were safe and away, he glanced at Versel. "Quit playing with the animal, Versel, and tie her up." He growled, his form slowly shifting back to full human in tattered clothes. "Now."

Brytan's eyes widened at the young lass. They had spoke of kidnapping, but hadn't that been his undoing as well. He kept the rope tight by pulling it towards him, slowly creeping up to nearly Versel's legs to peer at her. He dared not to stand, for that would bring too much attention to himself. Gods... she was a lycan! What if... they had kidnapped her for him? Or worse, to make her another slave? No... They couldn't...

"Be. Quiet." Versel snarled over his shoulder, before looking at Riten. "You take him, then." The dark elf tossed the leash towards his partner, picking up the other rope in pale, slender fingers. Forcefully, he grabbed the lycan's wrists; binding them together tightly with the rope. He dug into one of his cloak pockets, pulling out a bound and tieing it around her mouth.

Senka's eyes averted from her captors' own pairs of eyes. How had she been so foolish? How could this happen?! Her eyes stung as the darker-haired-man's leg struck the inside of her knees, making her fall on them. She forced a whimper down in her throut, keeping her golden eyes on the ground infront of her.

Sybrant gave a mental sigh, her eyes lowering from De'carn to the ground. So what're we going to do? Wait around till something bad happens? We should get out of here, right Senka? Silence. Senka? Still nothing. Sybrant turned around, and her eyes widened. No Senka. ...S-Senka?! She broadcasted without care to anything with a mind within two miles.

Riten caught the leash, releasing the lycan to his partner. He tied the leash around his wrist, watching Versel deal with the girl before giving the animal a nice tug, making the younger man fall forward and towards Riten. The lycan was unconcerned about that, but he had gotten the leash loose again from the other's hands.

Brytan's eyes widened again as he slowly picked himself back up to his hands and knees. Those bastards... The grass around her seemed to cling closer, picking up on the vampire's sympathy. He noted the ears and tail, pitying the young lycan. He would have spoken to her had not he been sure it would mean more pain for the both of them.

De'carn turned at his companion's outburst, suddenly noticing the lack of a little lycan in his eyes. Well, the play had just got a more interesting turn, hadn't it? He cast out his feeling again, and there she was... along with three others. However, for the time being, he would say he couldn't, should Sybrant ask. This could play out to be more fun. Where is she?! He feigned surprise and worry, also feeling two others heading for them. Stalkers.

At the broadcast, Haku had insisted that they look into it. Not for the sake of the shadow wyrms... but for that girl. Should it be for something else that control had slipped for, then they'd be on their merry way. He landed on the ground close to the two shadow wyrms. What's going on?

De'carn suddenly had a feeling of lost heart. If they were here with their ability to fly, this would all be over before it began! He just... couldn't allow that! Reaching out, he found the four a little ways off and called forth his shadows to hide them to outside eyes. Soon, his senses faded back to a bare minimum. It had used up most of his excess power, but gods, it would be worth it.

Senka let her eyes skim over the grass, looking out of the corner of her eye at the other imprisoned one. So, he had been held captive by these two also? It made her stomach twist at the possibilities of how long he had been with them. She lowered her eyes again, wanting to be in Sybrant's and De'carn's presense again.

I don't know, I don't know... It was clear from her tone Sybrant was panicing. How could she have not noticed Senka missing like that?! She was right behind her, she swore!! Silver eyes looked up at the arrival from the Wyrm from earlier. My Bonded, Senka... she's gone... Her tone and eyes expressed her panic, fear, anger at herself... How could she have let this happen...

He met her eyes, his heart aching slightly as she looked down. She knew. She had to know. He closed his damned red eyes, creeping slowly away from the others to sit, dejected. Brytan glanced back, as if hoping for a change, but the only one was a sharp jerk that had him on his back.

Riten grinned at the elf as he picked himself up. It was so... satisfying. "When will it be safe to move again?" His voice was a low purr, hoping that neither vampire nor lycan heard it. "I can carry the girl, and the elf moves fast enough..."

"I have a name." Brytan whispered quietly, earning him another jerk that landed him at the lycan's feet. He placed a foot on Brytan's chest, pushing down until the vampire struggled just to breath, let alone talk.

"So, when?" He asked, as if he didn't hold the boy's life in his hands.

After relaying the message to his bond, Haku glanced about. His natural response came forth, like venom after a sting. How does one go about losing one's bond, I wonder. He replied dryly, earning him a kick in the side by Aran.

"We'll help you look." He replied aloud, telling Haku to behave; after all, they wouldn't be here for too much longer.

De'carn snarled at Haku's comment, wings flaring before one alighted over Sybrant protectively. She's around here somewhere. She's got to be. Not that, he added silently, I expect we'll find her for a few good hours.

Senka's eyes flickered back at Brytan, golden eyes widening greatly. How could they just treat him like that...?! "How can you do that?" The words leaked from her mouth before she could stop them.

Versel's eyes watched Riten, feeling nothing as he watched the wretch try and struggle for breath. "In a m--" His eyes flew down to the girl, who had found some unknown will to speak. His grip on the leash as he jerked it harshly, sending her into the ground. "Let us leave in a moment." He replied, acting as if she hadn't said a thing.

Wincing as her face hit the ground, she felt something sharp bite into her cheek. A small amount of blood dripped down the side of her cheek as she struggled to sit up again without them noticing. Damn, that had hurt...

---

It shouldn't've surprised Sybrant with the comment. It was true: how DID she lose track of Senka? She lowered her head, almost to the point where the grass gently tickled her nose tip. I pray you are right, De'carn.

Though, moping around here wouldn't be much help to anyone. We should start looking. She can't be far... Her silver eyes flickered to the Wyrm's Bond. ...thank you.

They were hurting her again. True, Versel was responsible directly for the abuse, but Riten was letting him hurt the girl. The air he drew in from between his bared fangs whistled slightly, eyes narrowing as he grabbed onto Riten's boot awkwardly with both hands. He didn't push. Not yet. "Let... me... up..." He hissed.

Riten nodded, "Very well." He ignored Brytan, watching the shadows in the distance through slitted eyes. When he felt the body beneath his foot suddenly seem to tense, he glanced down, greeted by a pair of black eyes, the faintest ring of crimson around the enlarged pupil. Gods above... "Dammit! Versel! The elf..."

Everything seemed to fine tune itself to him. The blades of grass seemed as sharp of knives against his face in his peripheral vision. In the night, he could look around and see most anything as clearly as if it were next to his face. It was all there. The pressure on his chest seemed but a faint annoyance, like a fly buzzing around. Little more. He turned his head, the faintest stench of blood reaching his nose. That was all it took. His body was tuned to that, homing in on the source. The girl. He tried to sit up, but the tiger lycan had put as much weight on him as he could, even going so far as to call up some of his animal attributed to hold him down. Finally, some part of him grabbed ahold of at least half his mind, for though he wanted to feed, his hands laying on the grass, fingers hooking under grass in an effort to keep his diseased thoughts from destroying what had once been normality.

He had avoided feeding off of humans for as much as possible. There had been a few instances in which even the mighty tiger and dark elf had not been able to keep him back along with what restraint he posessed. Animals... he tried to hunt animals as much as he could. Raw meat provided small pockets where blood still remained, but it was... unsatisfactory. He glanced back up at Riten, grinning behind his mask. It was hidden, but he knew the man got the picture perfectly.

I'll go this way. He indicated with one of his wings towards an area where the group had not been five minutes or so ago. Snakey, look from the skies. He ordered Haku, taking off at a sort of fast walk down the way he had indicated.

Before Haku could protest to being called Snakey, Aran had given him a gentle kick in his side. Glancing back, they argued silently for a moment before Haku took off, soaring out to a circle to glance for the lost girl.

Versel's eyes widened, keeping his gaze locked on the elf. What in the seven hells was happening?! This had only happened a few times, though what had spurred it on now? His eyes flickered to the girl, seeing the blood on her cheek. Had that...? A small grin flickered over his face.

Senka slowly edged her hand up her face, trying to wipe off the blood that creeped down her cheek. She had heard what was going on, but her back was to them. Senka winced as she rubbed away the caking, making it well up again. Damn...

~~~
Sybrant watched the two, before sighing. She tred the opposite direction De'carn had gone, to try and cover more ground. As she walked, her anger spiked more and more. First at herself, then a bit towards Senka. But most of her anger was channeled towards whoever had the MIND to take HER Bonded... Oh, she would make them pay...
Riten glanced at Versel, shaken just a bit from the animalistic gleam in Brytan's eye. "Well?" He asked quietly, now something closer to six-eighths tiger than anything at all. He kept his weight all on that one foot, trying to keep the captive from escape.
It was stronger. Against his will, he uttered a small begging whine. The small bit of pride he had managed to keep kicked the rest of his mind, though the want for food definately toned out that small kick. He needed to be let up, or so he was convinced. He tried to lean up again, though the foot kept him pinned down. He wouldn't kill her... Wouldn't kill any of them, even if they deserved it... It was just the smallest taste he wanted. Nothing more... His hands flattened, no longer trying to keep him down, pushing up against the tiger's paw.
He glanced about, feeling blind in the darkness. The prices he paid for fun. Gazing up, De'carn noticed the the white wyrm seemed to be hovering above him for a moment. Yeah, right. Because I ordinarily kidnap my travelling companions. He growled toward the sky.
I wouldn't doubt it, dark wyrm. Haku shot back before wheeling back, headed directly for the invisible gathering. He passed over them, spotting only a place blotched out by darkness. Weird, huh? Well, he'd seen weirder. Without mentioning it to Aran, he wheeled back, and circled more.
Versel gritted his teeth, watching the monster resist against Riten. Even though the Tiger lycan was almost into his full form! Ruby red eyes narrowed, before his eyes flickered to the wolf girl on the leash. He saw the blood running down her cheek, then his eyes flickered back to the boy.
His eyes casted upwards to his partner. "Riten, try to knock him out." If he isn't, he might start feeding on one of US! he thought bitterly, looking back down at the elf with narrowed eyes.
Her senses picked up on the thickening of atmosphere, ears twitching as she slowly turned her head. Senka's senses heightened as it did. She didn't trust this group. Not even the other captive. Okay, maybe him more then the other two, but still.
Her ears heard the slight struggle of opposing forces, her nose caught the small waft of her own blood and something else. True, the two capturers smelled like dirt, grime, and of their race. She turned her head towards the elf on the ground. She could smell the elf in him, and something else even though it was just a twinge. Something that made her... wary of him. Her head turned slowly, to look at him fighting the lycan's foot to sit up.
~.~
Sybrant paid little-to-none heed to the other two wyrms. She had a feeling the Wind/Water Serpent Wyrm had a great dislike--maybe even hatred?--of Shadow Wyrms. Though not all Shadow Wyrms are the same... She didn't want to deal with that now. Only one thing mattered to her: Senka.
We would cover more ground if the two of you didn't fight. She spoke out to no one directly, while pushing a limp tree out of her way.
