Xalio It would be funny, though.. a cartoon version of The Phantom of the Opera.. Actually, a cartoon film of POTO does exist and I own it. It isn't Disney, but it's still an animated film... xd

It isn't Disney, but it's still an animated film... xd that's... disturbing. 3nodding It is disturbing! The animation is wretched and I've laughed myself senseless over it's low budget quality. Christine wears hideous hues of neon pink all throughout the film; Erik has green skin and a British accent; Raoul looks like Anatole from the Claude Rains' film and dresses like Eric from Disney's "Little Mermaid"; the Persian's accent is closer to Indian; and the Ratcatcher looks like a demented, screeching Santa Claus with fangs... It's actually deathly hilarious... if you ever can get ahold of it, you really ought to watch it for the novelty of it all. They actually do quote the original Leroux novel and it is rather close to the novel. I've always thought that if they combined the animated film and the 1925 silent film together, one would have the most accurate POTO film ever created...

i remember they did a spoof of the phantom of the opera on this carebears episode i got on tape. hehe...i quite enjoyed it!

Has anyone seen the Wishbone episode of Phantom of the Opera? Very amusing... Raoul is played by Wishbone, the Phantom actually has a defomity, and Philippe is played by this black man... it's odd...
