Serial Experiment Lain is a surreal dose of surrealness right there. I felt something could have happened between Arisu and Lain, if you look passed the weirdness of the entire series. I've read some interesting short post-fics of Arisu and Lain that were well worth a read, although almost painfully short. I have to go hunt them up again and save them. Fun stuff!

It really depends. I can ship stuff where they hardly do more than hug and mostly act like friends, and then turn around and get into something when they're all the way unquestionably canon. I don't have any blanket rules.

Mmmm... chemistry..... gotta love an author/artist that can draw couples with chemistry. Of course, the most imaginative people can make chemistry happen between a rock and a hard place. ^_~

It's true. =P Even though I did read a funny hentai summary about this boy who is used as a guinea pig by his chemistry club classmate, and she winds up turning him into a girl. Imagine his girlfriend's surprise. When he finally does get changed back into a boy, in the second volume (because, apparently, it went on to a vol. 2,) his classmate does it again, and he gets turned back into a girl. o_O;; So maybe, chemistry should be taken....with a grain of salt....and people shouldn't be used as guinea pigs for it? It can create beautiful things and couples...but it could also switch your gender, apparently. Proceed with caution. eek

I think I've heard of that Athly...X-Change was it?
Funny Concept....but you have to be REALLY careful in it, or you'll get some rather...unsightly R-scenes.
Which is why I have avoided looking more into it.

Eebie I'VE ACTUALLY WONDERED THIS BEFORE! I think it really depends, cuz haruka x michiru is sweet, but my favorite sailor moon "pair" is ami x makoto. why? CUZ IT'S JUST MORE FUN! If it isn't official, you can make up wutever twisted little scenarios you want in your fantasies cool lol . hehheh <-- fangirl mentality But even tho it's just hinted, it's nice if it's strongly hinted. Otherwise it just seems like you're really living in your own dream world talk2hand . *sigh* I completely agree with you. Yes!!! xd
