Father Michael flew carelessly through the air, his claws clawing the air impatiently, rather than resting up against his stomach. His flight was awkward, but he had to find Ako. He returned to the tree had been at earlier and saw Saro still talking with the man. He forgot all manners and flew down onto the ground, changing into a human as he landed. His Excorcist Uniform still on from when he had returned from the Order. He pulled the sword from his hilt and advanced toward Saro from the tree behind where she was. His footsteps were trained and silent as he approached, ready to recieve the information he came for, his mind dead set on finding Ako.

"Amnesia, eh?" he said in a relaxed tone of voice. But his hands moved like he was carrying a spear and threw the imaginary spear directly behind her. One of his fingers fractionally pointed that direction for a millionth of a second.
His sensitive, trained ears had picked up even the most silent footsteps that a humanoid of any sort could muster. Someone was coming behind her, and they sounded like they were sneaking, carrying a sword.

((I need to type faster... XP Be back later tonight...))

Father Michael carried the sword in defense more than in attack, he had learned all to well not to make the first move. He paused waiting for them to notice. He could smell the tension, and a wolf. He twitched, waiting for an attack, his ears keen. That's when a white feather fell, landing against his cheek. He looked up, but the feather was no longer there. He took one last glance at Saro, realizing it wasn't her, and walked off into the night.

((Pretend this comes after the next post))
Xidun gave a very confused look. Nobody sneaking up behind someone had ever gone away before.
"He's...gone," he said, his slightly tense stance lightening again.

She spun around, hands on the hilts of her swords. She watched his retreating back, then decided she'd find him later, wondering what he wanted, and why his sword was drawn. "Do you know who he is?" she asked Xidun, her back still to the werefox. Glancing to her sie, she met the wolf's eyes, nodded slightly, and watched the wolf race off in a different direction, towards the deeper forest.

"That's odd.... Do you know who he is?" she repeated, turning to face him.

"No, but he kinda smelled like a bird," said Xidun. "I've never known anyone to just go away in the middle of a sneak attack..."
Including myself, he added mentally.

"I don't see why you'd do that. Leave I mean." she added, leaning against the trunk of the tree, her foot resting against the base.

"The only reason I can think of is if he stopped wanting to attack altogether, or found out it was the wrong person," said the werefox. He never ran into that sort of situation himself. "What about your wolf?"

"True.... She went to a den she'd found near here, she's not exactly fond of people. The others in Ferisia and you are the only ones I know of that she's actually liked."

"I've met a few werewolves before," he said. "Generally it's not that the sort's unfriendly, they just instinctively stick with their own kind, and otherwise don't know who to trust."

"She's not a werewolf, but that is true. The only one I've met that trusts me knows he can, for, reasons.... A word of advice, never accept a deal from a werewolf, even if it will save your life." she said, sighing.

"Really?" he said, giving an odd look. "Usually they'll do exactly what they say, and say exactly what they mean. I'm not sure if it's instinctive or what, but all of the werewolves I've met were some combination of honest and blunt.
And occasionally grumpy."

"You aren't exactly thinking straight when you're near death, so it's not exactly easy to find any loopholes. Werewolves themselves might be honerable, but I've met few theives who won't try to get something out of what they do, especially if it means helping someone."
