I actually don't see a tempo indication for the Scherzo in my copy--but Presto is a logical tempo for Chopin scherzos.

what edition may that be? j/w

You made me run downstairs to grab the score! For shame XD

Actually, in my working copy it does say Presto. I must have been looking at some pdf scores I got off from places like sheetmusicarchive.net when I wrote that reply last month.

lol. sorry!! much apologies!!!... you have stairs??? funn.
oh.. strange

Yeah. I live in a two-story house. Computer's upstairs and piano's downstairs.

That's what you get with free public property editions. =d

I have that problem, it means a short walk if I want to play... However, this is why laptops are useful!

My clarinet teacher was saying that "studies have shown that people who have bad balance have a worse sense of rhythm". It's all got something to do with the ears apparently...

I don't know if it's a balance problem for me...I bike and skate perfectly well. I've heard the thing about the ears though (I don't know the term in English...) since my dad has a case with it, and he thinks I may have a minor problem with it too because I get carsick often.

Not too sure about a worse sense of rhythm though...what do they class as standard then?

Hm, I don't know... It might be something I'd have to look up...

I suggest the Etude Op 10 No 3. I'm learning it right now,
and it's been a favorite of mine since I was little.
