Agreed. Some rumors were coming up that it was going to be Venom but they were immediately shut down. I have someone in mind but I really, really hope it's not him. Refer to the quote above. Lizard would be neat.

I wish it was Venom also. The symbiote is cool! I meant that I don't want the villian I have in mind to be the one in the new movie.

I'd like to see crossovers. Spiderman teaming up with the X-men. Or other crossovers. More characters and cameo appearances would be HUGELY appreciated.

I just want to see Gambit. The quick cameo in X2 didn't quite cut it.

I've had so many discussions on his casting. It's going to be so hard. I think they screwed up with Anna Paquin, anyway.

I hope the new character isn't Colossus. He had the same screentime in X2 that Iceman had in the first movie. And Iceman ended up being one of the new guys.

Colossus was pretty cool, I love how he got all steel'd up.
Almost every forum I go relating to X-men movies, they all want to see Gambit. I'm happy about it but I'm also worried about how they'll make him look. I can understand the costume change, but I actually liked the spandex. Well, as long as Gambit still has his duster, playing cards, and bo-staff, I'll be fine. He must also have his red eyes!
Oh, CJ and I saw a Gambit cosplayer at Otakon. Red eyes, too. Although his costume was Age of Apocalypse, but that's okay, it's easier.

xmkatx Well, as long as Gambit still has his duster, playing cards, and bo-staff, I'll be fine. Me too. 3nodding I think I've said this before but I also hope they bring Psylocke in. Gambit and Psylocke would be asking too much though. Maybe Angel... or Beast. I used Gambit in X-Men vs Street Fighter.

I didn't really like X-men Vs. Streetfighter. I hated Gambit's 'Credit card!'
Mmm, Angel or Beast seem likely. They are popular characters and have been around a lot longer than Gambit has. I think they killed Beast recently, though. I don't remember. They're always dying in the books.

The last time I checked they were in the Onslaught saga and a younger and more handsome Magneto was going out with Rogue, much to Gambit's dismay. He was so jealous.
I hope they don't bring in Bishop or Cable. gonk I want to see them develop Pyro.

Personally, I'd rather see Archangel, since he's a friggan bad a**, more badass than gambit, imo.

Introducing Archangel from the get-go wouldn't make any sense... because you need Angel first. I think so, anyways. My X-Men knowledge is getting blurred and rusty.

Same, really. >_<' Atleast I've started to read my old comics again. My parents gave a bunch of them away to thrift stores. Even the comic where Captain America fights Asthma. I miss those. *sigh* It's cool that they've already started planning on Spiderman 3, 4 and 5

They're planning up to 5? Whoa. That's... both good and bad. Bad because the formula is bound to get old. Good because there are so many opportunities for cool Spiderman baddies - Venom, Lizard, Carnage, Morbius, Shocker. Just... no more goblins, vultures, or rhinos.
Mysterio would be cool.
