A beeping came from Nateals HUD. "Damn... It seems that I must take my leave." His's mech's thrusters flared and it shot off into the sky accalerating suprisingly fast until it was a speck on the horizon. Then it was gone.
((Sorry, But I gotta go. Later.))

The missiles struck the cockpit of one of the Ravens, killing the pilot instantly. Of the two surviving Ravens, 1 was heavily damaged as the missile struck the hull and tore a large chunk of armor away upon detonation. It still continued to advance towards SpaceMunkie's Hayabusa. The other Raven-MPV was barely even scratched as the missile struck the side of the mech and continued to travel past it, doing little more than scratching the paint. The two enemy units fired upon SpaceMunkie using their massive caliber coil guns.

Zero's Monster loomed over Glitch's mech. He watched through the side of his cockpit at the battle the others were involved with. Since his weapons were too powerful to aim at the enemies near the others, he was using most of the systems to scan the island. It was effective enough to detect most cloaked units. As he scanned, he forwarded his findings to the base, which in turn sent them to the team. There was a slight delay but it was only by about half a second. "I hope these scans help"

((What kind of scanning picks up cloaked units that are invisible to visual, radar, and heat detection? Unless you got clever and used sonar, but that would present itself with several problems in such a crowded area. Besides, the infiltrators withdrew.))
Andreis looked up at the massive mech and habitually thrusted backwards a bit, taken back a bit by the massive size. Andreis hit the comm line switch and the data feed and read who was piloting that massive thing by registry and then direct line communicated to him.
"Private Zero, don't just stand there, that thing is a mobile artillery unit, scan the perimeter. Bombard anyone that gets within range!"
He then cast to everyone on the team.
"Infiltrators are withdrawing, I want Glitch, Munkie and Nateal((WHenever you get bacK)) on front line defense. Zero, stand back and fire at incoming forces before they reach the front lines. I'll stay on circulatory scouting route and provide covering fire for Zero when necessary."

If you notice, I fired a smoke canister with a wide dispersal. Of course, there would be no smoke where a mech was. I then told my A.I. to calcultes the model using current data on attacking models to build a computer image of where they were.))

((It's several different types of scan: radar, sonar, infared, night vision, motion, etc. Plus Nateal's smoke canisters shows the figures of enemies with the computer could match with ones in its database. The mech's computers sort and identify anything that could be an enemy in excludes others...with the assistance of Gabriel, of course. Thats why I said most, but surely not all.))
"Scanning...6 heavy transports anchored about 2 miles off the beach. High precentage that it's releasing mechs from its underside. Preparing counter measure..." The Monster began to turn towards the anchored ships. While it did this, the autoloader prepared the depth-charge rounds for the expected enemy approach. The laser cannons leveled themselves and were charging to fire. The glow from the cannons increased as it reached its firing point.
"Targeting transports 1 and 2...charge complete...firing laser cannon." Bluish-white beams streaked over the landscape, scorching trees its path. The water below the beams sizzled and curved around the deadly light right before both targets were struck. The first boat was caught in its broadside, the metal melting and warping to the heat. It hit low enough to where the ship started to bend and take on water. The second ship was hit headlong by the beam, though it missed the body of the ship, the beam boiled away anything that was on the ships deck, including its bridge. It stayed afloat though.
"Hit confirm, firing artillery." The cannons were raised and aligned right before firing. The shells arched and about 6 seconds later slowed and hit the water. A couple more seconds passed before 4 large columns of water burst up. "Unsure of damage, awaiting reload."

"Huh?" He looked out across the water and found that were indeed indentations in the water, a sure sign that something was cloaked. He decided that the fire from the Monster would do for now and flew off to look for more enemies.

((Well, no orders for me.. >:] ))
"I'll just find a nice sniping position."
Allen cast over the radio while already starting his mech to a flanking position. His legs moved across the petals to turn the mech about and then it only took a simple setting to start autorunning towards the position he desired. Allen looked around as he sat with his arms crossed, unstrapped from his seat and drinking some hard liquor from a flask.

((Actually he is right. See.. in general. A quality role play goes on hold if a person cannot be on for a bit. If the leave is extended then usually something pertinent to the story line comes about for the reason to leave. Either way, it worked I suppose.))

I'll stay on circulatory scouting route and provide covering fire for Zero when necessary." Glitch dropped the signal of the hidden unit and raised the Wendigo from its relaxed state. "Roger that." she said as she moved out of Zero's shadow and headed forward, sending out a locator for Space Munkie and Nateal to form the front line of defence. "Alright guys, time to rattle some cages." she said bringing her Mech along side Munkie, while locking on one of the remaining Ravens with a fully charged PPC. "This should warm you up." said Glitch, firing the PPC. Two streamline bolts of energy penetrated the first's cabon, completely annhilating one Raven while damaging the other with the explosion. "Hit confirm, but we still have an injured bird out there." said Glitch as she watched the last Raven limp away. Switching to her Autos, Glitch shifted her aim to the slinking mech and unleashed two rounds into its belly and watched it topple before erupting into a glowing ball. "Never mind. I got 'em." she laughed, scanning the area for any more hostiles. "How ya going there Space Munkie, Nateal?" ((if he's back))

((I'm never gone long. Just enough time to eat, sleep, and hang out at school.)) "I'm doing well enough. It would be more fun though if they wouldn't hide." His energy blades had retracted to save power as he lifted up into the air. The slender Slyph floated over the battlefield like a rapter looking for prey. It spotted a target and killed it's thrusters dropping it into a dive. It leveled out and ignited it's blades hitting the enemy with tons of force cutting through it like it were nothing. The Slyph then returned to the sky to wait for another victum to show itsself.
