Rei looked at the Arashikage as she drank sake straight out of the bottle. He shook his head as they walked, staying near in case she stumbled like she obviously was going to.

"You shouldn't drink again yet, Nayami-sama. Otherwise you might trip and lose the rest of your sake. Then you'd have to go all the way back and get more." He remarked, stepping a bit closer and putting an arm around her shoulders so that he could catch her more easily if she stumbled.

“Ahh you young boy, you and your rules…I’m fine.” The more she walked the more obvious it was that the Kage was clearly drunk. Polishing off the rest of the bottle in one quick swig she rubbed the back of her wrist across her mouth before tossing the small bottle into one of the nearby bushes.

Nayami staggered up to the door, her hands missing the door handle several times before she finally got a hold of it. “There..we’s go.” She giggled lightly as she pushed the door to the side allowing both her and Rei entry to her house.

“Now…I have a few…things to tell you…but first…” Taking another bottle to her lips she began to walk down the darkened hallway, using Rei as a crutch as her legs took on the form of jelly as she stumbled every now and then. Walking into a different room she flung her body upon the couch after placing her bottles down upon a small glass table, her face soon met the cushions as she sprawled out upon the furniture.

“But first…Rei honestly…how much…money…would it take for you to take your clothes off for me?” Nayami asked as she tried to keep a straight face even though the corners of her mouth were indeed revealing a smile.

Rei sighed and walked with her, deciding to recite everything he'd learned from the other villages. He hoped that Nayami would remember, he wasn't sure if he could keep the information in his mind much longer. Some things tended to disappear from memory if he had it for too long. The boy blushed fiercely at Nayami's comment once she was on the couch.

"Nayami-sama? Why would you want me to do that?" He asked, curious to the Kage's reasoning behind it. He was a bit worried about Nayami's sense now.

Nayami’s shoulders seemed to bounce lightly as she tried ever so hard to hold in a giggle which was obviously about to burst from her lips.

“We’ll you’re a strapping young lad, and I’m a female, why wouldn’t I want to see your body?” Reaching over lazily with one of her arms she seemed to swipe at the bottles before one of them finally fell into her grasp.

“I don’t see why everyone is so…scared of me; I can be nice too…when I want to…” Keeping her body in a laying down position she brought the bottle up to her lips.

“Not…my fault I’m not good with others…” Coughing lightly she sputtered out some of the alcohol, quickly running her palm over her lips to clean her mouth.

“Well…anyways...before I get off topic, tell me about your mission, how are the other Kage’s compared to…moi?”

Rei shivered a bit as he listened to Nayami's excuse for wanting what she asked for. He sat down with the Arashikage once she asked about his mission. That was something that he could live with, at least it might distract her from wanting the other things. He began to recollect everything he learned from each village he visited respectively. From everything that he knew, Rei explained to Nayami his findings in excruciating detail as well as he'd learned them. (The hard part being I'm making all this up so I'm not putting words to it gonk )

“Hmm…doesn’t sound like much if you ask me…”

Nayami spoke quietly as she seemed to be looking down into the bottle, keeping one of her eyes opened as she squinted the other one. Allowing the empty container to drop from her grasp she slowly moved her body into a sitting position, her figure slightly wavering as she tried to keep straight as a low groan escaped through her lips.

“Sounds…boring…I hate boring.” Reaching over for her last bottle she pressed the rim against her lips, taking what seemed like a few seconds to actually think over something.

“You know…I think…my mom…always wanted me to leave…because she was jealous…dad spent so much… ‘special’ time with me.” Laughing lightly Nayami’s voice echoed throughout the bottle before she finally allowed the liquid to pass down her throat. She could feel her stomach churn suddenly as the bitter fluid dropped down inside of her; it was indeed getting to the point where it was too much.

Standing up quickly Nayami clasped her mouth with both of her hands as she broke out into a run, a wobbly, pathetic excuse for a run that is. Since this room was only a few steps away from outside she made a beeline for the exit knowing for certain she wouldn’t make it to the bathroom.

Pushing open the doors the Kage almost ran right smack into Hageshii, her eyes slightly widening at his presence before she collapsed down onto her hands and knees near a bush.

It wasn’t a pretty sight, that’s for sure. Nayami remained on all fours as she kept her head down, the burning liquid coming back up into her throat from her stomach. It sure tasted good going down, but back up…wasn’t nearly as enjoyable. The Kage groaned loudly as she could taste the disgusting flavor of her own vomit lingering within her mouth.

Rei got up quickly to follow Nayami outside. He knew her drink was coming back on her now, though he had thought she would last a little bit longer than she did.

"Nayami-sama, are you all right?" He asked, despite the fact it was a stupid question. He sighed and shook his head. "I shouldn't have let you get so much to bring back..." He mumbled, shaking his head. He felt that it was his mistake that Nayami was in the position she was right now. Even though she wouldn't have listened, he had a chance to tell her to stop.

Hageshii's black mask stared down upon what seemed to him to be a pityful excuse for a Kage, his jade eyes burned behind the mask. Yet again she was making a fool of herself in front of one of her shinobi, showing that she was yet again, unfit to lead this village appearing as nothing but a drunk. The anger seethed behind that black snake-like mask it was the emotion he found proper for this situation therefore he would use it now. He looked down upon the pityful creature that was their Kage, he looked at the boy that was with her a mere look of venom if his face was in view that is what it would have been.

"You may leave now Rei...I will clean up this mess..."

He said in a voice that did not sound all that friendly, he lifted the woman up off the ground as though she where some sort of a child, and began to half drag her back to her quarters. She had went off and gotten drunk just as he had imagined, all this time and their village may well have been attacked or partially destroyed. Here she was, so drunk that she couldn't even manage to make it to the bathroom on time to vomit, he could not allow this. And so he drug her within her quarters, of course locking off the place in such a way that no one would be allowed access unless they where extremely powerful or extremely weak.

"Get up Arashikage-sama...I will not have you disgrace yourself more by having to be carried to the bathroom...

Nayami laid upon the cold floor where Hageshii had dropped her, her eyes partially closed as she looked over at her hand that had fallen down just in front of her face, “Why…do you always do this?” She asked as her body remained still, her long silky hair splashed out upon the tiles looking as though it was a sea of ink that had been smeared over the polished surface. Luckily Nayami had been smart enough to take the time in order to hold her hair back while she was bent over and vomiting.

“You’re always so hell bent on changing me…making me look better…act better.” Nayami’s figure slightly shifted as she rolled over onto her back, a soft groan escaping through her lips. “It’s like…you disapprove of every single thing I do, I’m like a mere insect in your eyes that you’re just dying to squish.” Allowing her heavy eyelids to drop, Nayami drew in a deep breath of air, trying to regain at least some of her senses in her god awful state.

“No matter what I do, it’s always going to come back to me.” Opening her eyes slowly, her bright orbs seemed to be slightly tainted, the usual twisted amusement no longer dancing within her sparkling pools. Rising up very slowly to her feet, her legs seemed to wobble a bit before she stood straight.

“Why don’t…you just get it over with.”

Slipping a few of her fingers down into a pouch located on her hip she tossed Hageshii a kunai. “If you think I’m such a poor excuse for a Kage, then why don’t you just kill me and take the position, I know that’s what you want anyways.” Nayami continued to stand perfectly straight as she kept her head tilted in a downwards direction, her flushed cheeks soon covered by the long strands of charcoal that spilled down over her face.

Rei glowered at Hageshii as the shinobi seemed to assume he would have the right to take control of the situation when he hadn't even been around to help Nayami before. And even then he wasn't helping the Arashikage. If only he were stronger he would show the nin exactly what he felt about it. Rei figured he and Hageshii were NOT going to get along in the least.

"...I do not want to be the leader, you are my leader but I must defend you from all threats, internal and external...The way you compose yourself is disgraceful, especially with this? What where you doing? Getting drunken! In front of one of your own shinobi even! A boy! No Arashikage-sama I do not want your posistion...You are the only one fit to be here...But you must learn the when and where to use your power...And you must also know when and where to allow your emotions to come out...In front of one of your reporting shinobi is not, the place!"

He caught the kunai, which he brought up to his already wounded hand and forced the metal weapon all the way through his hand, allowing him to bleed out the bacteria from the bloodstained weapon. He flinched slightly as the blade pushed through, he watched her silently for a moment, she was pityful. He did not understand why she had done something so ignorantly stupid, it put a stain on her forever, he was sure that boy probably pitied her. He was probably angry that Hageshii had been so harsh, but Hageshii didn't give a damn, not one bit of thought was wasted on what others thought of him. He was an emotionless b*****d, he knew it and no amount of bitching and complaining and growling and grumbling and even insulting, would ever change that.

"While you where making a fool of yourself I was forced to defend our village from something that may well have been a Kage-class shinobi...Whom definately did not seem all that friendly..."

He glared the the holes in his mask, of course she could not see his eyes but if she could, she would certainly feel the venomous stare she was recieving at the moment. He couldn't help but feel that something was wrong at a deeper level then what she was at at the moment, he knew she was strange and odd, but why go get so drunk like that? There must of been a deeper reason, but even if she did have a valid reason it was no excuse for what she had done.

Nayami just remained standing, the deep tone of Hageshii’s voice had slammed into her like a brick wall, leaving her both speechless and motionless. She could feel his scorching gaze burn deeply into her as if detesting her every being. She opened her mouth as if she was about to respond to his comment but no words seemed to escaped her parted lips. Lifting her head up, her long hair fell off gently from her face, finally revealing her now placid features.

"I just can’t…deal with it some days.” Nayami’s eyes slowly made their way up to the two small slits carved into Hageshii’s mask, his glare now burning deeply into her own two blue orbs.

“It’s just who I am, I try to forget about things that I don’t want to remember any more, I try to lock it all away, I want to forget, I want to be alone…but at the same time, I don’t want to be left in the dark.”

The Kage slowly approached Hageshii, not in the least bit worrying about his emotionless behavior for that was the very last thing on her mind at this moment.

“I hate humans…we are truly disgusting things…such poor excuses of living matter…but most of all I hate myself.” Leaning in slowly she rested her head on Hageshii’s chest, one of her palms slowly placing itself upon the nook in-between his shoulder and neck. “Maybe…if…I just...if… I …could just…”

Nayami’s sentence began to slowly trail off as her eyelids soon became heavy.

“…I’m so…sorry…please…try to forgive me one of these days.” As she fully closed her eyes a set of two tears seemed to make their way down Nayami’s pale cheeks.

“I’m…so sorry I could never be good enough in your eyes…”

Her grip tightened on Hageshii’s shirt for a mere moment before her whole body went limp, her figure soon collapsing as she passed out, the alcohol finally taking its last affect on her weary body.

Hageshii merely watched his Kage without remorse, she was showing weakness, this was not good especially after the mission they now had to undertake. For the fact that she must do this, and the shinobi that they where bringing with them, he was unsure of how they would not die in undertaking this task. His thoughts wandered as eventually she clung to him, and then fell into a deep sleep, he sighed and bent at his knees before lifting her from the floor. He walked in silence to her bedroom, nothing showing upon his masked face, he slowly set her upon her soft silky sheets. Hageshii slowly walked to the corner of a room, and then sat himself down upon his knees into a rather statuesque looking seiza.

"Nayami-hime...You are stronger, but you just do not realize it, you are strong because you can feel, you can feel what the people need and thus you can give it to them...I could never do this, so I would never be fit to rule over anyone..."

He watched her, envied her, for all the things that she had, feeling, emotion, hate, even sadness, she had all those things and he could merely fake them. He wasn't truly ever angry, sad, happy, no, all he could do was put on a mask, just like the very mask he was wearing upon his face, and there was nothing else. No, that was wrong, there is something else there was something, he had a secret that no one would ever know about aside from him. A secret that not even the Kage knew about, the secret of where he goes when he is "awake" the secret of what he becomes when "awakened" the greatest secret of all. There was no telling who he was when he was "awake" the only thing that one could guess is that he was a very deadly person.

"But not yet...No...Not yet..."

From the moment she had collapsed everything completely dropped free from her thoughts, leaving her mind as a swirling black hole as all the previous information was soon sucked free from her thoughts. Nayami remained in bed for several hours, her body not moving one spot from the place Hageshii had laid her upon, her figure still as a plank of wood giving her the same grim appearance as a fresh corpse.

Usually during the night the Kage would find herself tossing and turning, her mind racked with so many thoughts at once that sleep was nearly impossible. But now, now in her utterly drained sleep, Nayami slept soundly, quietly, almost too quiet, the soft intakes of air every so often signaling that she in fact was still alive. She needed this kind of sleep every so often, just a deep, thoughtless sleep, no worries, no pain, nothing but the darkness of her closed eyelids.

As a few more hours past by Nayami soon found herself finally awaking from her deep sleep, her eyes lightly twitching before they fully opened revealing a pair of bright blue eyes. Something…was a tad strange in Nayami’s gaze, instead of her usual twisted excitement it looked as though a geyser had erupted within the center of her aquamarine pools. Hangover plus her current emotional situation were not a good couple, they never went hand in hand, and in Nayami’s case her emotional distress was about ten-fold compared to a regular person. Already from the moment she sat up in her bed, a deep seething aura seemed to rise from her body. Soon as her eyes landed upon Hageshii the same old thoughts once again flooded into her empty mind.

-Thump, thump, thump-

Her head pounded like a drum being crashed on with a large mallet, the loud smashes echoing throughout her entire mind, her thoughts crashing into the pain like a hammer sending the headache splitting through Nayami’s temples.

“So, you decided to stay there for the whole night. I see.” Nayami didn’t even wait for Hageshii to reply, knowing fully well he stayed exactly in that same spot watching over her as she slept, just like a caring father figure would, but in Hageshii’s case she knew he didn’t do it for any real apparent reasons, it was just plainly said, his job, or duty if you will.

Just by the simple tone in her voice it sounded as if all hell had currently broke loose. This was not going to be a pretty day, the deep anger, the intense pain soon all coming back. Whoever was foolish enough to go against Nayami or merely annoy her was indeed in for a rude awakening.
