After eating it's fill the beast licked at it's sizeable paws and then slowly starts moving back toward it's napping spot. It didn't know where the big noise had come from but at least it had gotten some dinner. Then with a full belly it moves back toward it's napping spot, yawning on it's way. With a sigh the great beast settles into place and starts to snore lightly.

Kasai lets Fauve cling to him and does a bit of clinging of his own, that thing was huge and it wasn't hard for him to imagine what it would do to him if it got it's claws on him. Kasai held Fauve to him as the beast walked back toward them, once it had settled and he could hear it's snoring he started moving to the side, I think we can get down over here and it will be farther away from that thing. Kasai starts moving toward a slope and as he does his feet slip and he slids downward, tumbling into someone!

Cin sighs when the creature lays back down as she starts to relax however someone plows into her from above! Looking around sharply she smiles seeing that it is Kasai.

Kasai looks over to his chosen and then Fauve, Cin's bike...we need to get it up and running. Then looking into Cin's eyes, can we get it up and running?

Cin thinks a moment, "The bike? It should be fixable but I am not sure how much time we have...."

A voice from the region of Cin's wrist pipes up. "While if you would let me I could be of service here."

Cin looks at her wrist a bit startled and a bit of the fog in her mind clears, "Alright, get me over to the bike. Mycroft is right he can help - Kasai I need your help walking over to the bike and then...I need you to upload Mycroft onto the hoverbike mainframe; can you handle that?"

Kasai stands and helps his chosen to her feet then placing her hand on his shoulder, he nods. Of course I can handle it, lets get going. Fauve grab your guardian. Then with his chosen at his shoulder Kasai started toward the bike.

*moments later*

Cin sits down with a sigh taking the weight off of her injured leg, "remember how I taught you to use Mycroft? I need you to access the bike's mainframe with him. He will tell us how to fix the bike or if it can be fixed."

Kasai nods and starts hooking the wires up to the hoverbike's computer. After a few moments he hits a button on the wrist comm. He should be uploaded now.

Cin speaks, "Mycroft can you hear me? Have you diagnosed the bike?"

"Just hold your horses....you have really fouled up the bike this time. But I have seen worse." The voice from the bike goes out and then after a moment speaks up. "I have done some modifications to the programming, autopilot is shot - I think you ripped the part out that controls that." Mycrofts voice drips with disapproval, "but if you reconnect the stabolizer and left thruster she should fly."

Cin smiled and started connecting some wires, cutting things here and there, then she turns to Merci`. "Would you like to learn how to fly, Merci`? I can't fly the bike back to the camp and as long as the pirates or rats don't catch up with us, it should be easy going."

Red stepped down on the gas of the ground transport, this jerked forward and he started around the mountain, he would find those troublesome women.

Cin pulled herself up against the side of the bike, "she'll fly - Kasai grab me the roll of tap out of the back hatch of the bike."

Kasai stands and opens up a compartment, this what you want? He looks at the gray tape questionly.

"That's it, this is high powered atmospheric tape for planes - it will hold up to speeds that we can't even rank on this bike. I am going to patch up a few areas so the wires won't be exposed." Cin takes the tape and pulls a piece of it back then unclips a knife from her belt and starts cutting strips off, after a few moments of tapping up the edges she smiles and stands back. "Alright now she should be fine." Moving around as quickly as her hurting leg will let her she starts the bike up, it gurgles slightly and then raises off the ground seemingly working well. "Now your feet go here, this is to make your bike go forward and this brakes. Now you move this handle here to reverse, to speed up like this, and for an emergency hard break - hit the petal and move the handle like this." Cin explains the workings of the bike and how to move them.

Kasai looks over to Fauve, Cin is a good teacher - we will make it. The sides of his mask upturn slightly into a smile.

As Cin finishes the last of her instructions a loud roar is heard coming from behind them, looking back the four can see Red grinning manically driving a large wheeled vehicle.

"We need to go now!" Cin yells and picks Fauve up putting her in the second seat position. "Kasai remember how I taught you to fire a blaster? Sit behind me on the bike I will strap you in, you are going to be our gunner. With the wound to my hand I can't fire the pistol." Cin pulls the smaller of her two blasters out and hands it to Kasai she then goes about strapping him in quickly, once they are all on the bike she yells to Merci`, "hit the go!"

"Don't let off the gas well we are on the incline, she has the juice to take us all the way up, we can't afford to let him catch us." Cin looked behind her as they went up the incline it seemed as if Red was having a harder time getting up it then they were, his tires slipped every once in a while and sent him back a few feet making his ascent slow. "Looks like we are getting a bit of luck, to keep the bike from wobbling - move the controls more slowly just because it is moving fast you don't have to move fast too, we have enough area you don't have to worry about sharp turns." Cin looked forward at Merci`'s movements as the girl went about steering the bike, fretting she tried to give helpful advice.

Kasai looked behind him and saw his target, making sure he was secured in with the strap he relaxed slightly and then started taking potshots at the vehicle that Red was driving. Smiling manically he starts taking shots closer together, this shooting business wasn't so hard; don't know why Cin makes such a fuss about it he thinks. As he is shooting he hears Fauve's thought, Don't worry Fauve! I am protecting our backs, just hold on a bit longer.

"What the hell!" Red muttered as the blue bolts came flying past him, they were letting a kid use a gun...letting a kid use a gun against him! This was outragous he thought, "going to have to teach them some manners when I catch up to them," he growls. With a jerk of the stick shift the vehicle starts climbing the incline more rapidly.

Cin's knuckles turned white with tension as Merci` jerked away from the tree. As they stabalized again, well as much as she was assuming they would stabalize she felt Fauve move as well. The bike wasn't made to carry four, the only straps on it were straps on the back, that were made to originally stow cargo. Right now Kasai was sitting safely in those but the blonde masque girl was not. Cin saw the girl start to fall and instinctively grabbed out for her, as she wrapped her hand around the girls arm she realized too late that she had reached with her wounded hand. "Fauve grab onto my arm. I don't have the strength to grip you with my hand!" The blood from the shot in her wrist started bleeding again making Cin's grip even more precarious. Please don't let me lose her she thought. Cin clenched her teeth and made her aching body hold just a bit longer.

Along the back of the bike, Kasai kept shooting. His shots really weren't doing much damage but seemed to be keeping the large human occupied. Taking a moment to focus Kasai looks down the barrel of the gun and lets a shot off, it hits in the center area of Red's vehicle, sending smoke into the air.

Red growled as the smoke rose, damn kid hit something and now he was having trouble seeing. He was definanlty going to have to teach them some manners.

Cin pulled Fauve into place in front of her that run in with a tree had almost done them in and now Red was on top of them practically...Cin looked back that the thing he was driving, it was wide and could easily plow them over. But the tree had made her think looking to the left she saw they were by the woods outside of HB, "The trees! He can't fit between the trees he is too wide. Merci` into the forest go into the forest, he will get stuck or topple over once we are inside there." Cin made her legs grip the bike harder and yelled over her shoulder, "Kasai things are going to get rough."

Kasai heard his chosen but kept firing and then a thought entered his mind. Fauve? Do you still have your bag on you? Can you pass me one of the explosives?

Kasai grabbed at the bag, clinging to it trying to pull it closer to him. He tries to stablize himself as he opens the bag. Just got get a stick out 'Sai thinks to himself. Shoving his hand in the bag Kasai pulls out one of the sticks of dynamite, as he does this he almost falls from the bike letting go of the bag he grabs onto the back of Cin's jacket. A scowl forms on his mask as he realizes he dropped all the dynamite, he still has the stick he grabbed though...so this was his chance. Eyes wide Kasai is once again almost jolted off of the bike, with a sigh he looked around and saw trees around them. They were close to camp he had to get the dynamite lite...breathing in he realizes that he doesn't know where his lighter is or even if he could lite it while on the bike. Panic starts to take over as he sees Red turn his vehicle into the forest. Then he looks at the wick and concentrates, trying to call the fire.

Cin gasps as they turn into the forest, damn but this driving was insane. Clinching with her legs she tries to hold on ignoring the pain in her damaged one. Cin feels Kasai start to slip and tries to turn and grab for him.

Ignoring all else around him Kasai imagines the center of a flame as being in the center of the wick. He wasn't sure but he felt that the fire would obey him. Then as if a heavy weight was lifted from his mind the wick flamed to life! Grinning Kasai throws that dynamite at Red's vehicle, a feeling of satisfaction fills him as he sees it land on the hood and roll into a nitch in the vehicle. That feeling of satisfaction soon turns to dizziness as the backlash of the fire creation hits him. Cin I am falling... Kasai mutters and then starts to slip from the bike.

Hearing Kasai call to her Cin swivels in the seat and latchs onto the falling boy. With Kasai falling and Cin turning the balance of the bike starts to become unstable.

Red's eyes get wide as a stick of what he is pretty sure is dynamite rolls onto his car. What in the hell where these woment up to! Concentrating on the stick on the car he stops watching the forest around him and is jolted forward through the windshield of the car as the huge vehicle rams into a large tree! Dazed he looks up at the wreakage, he had been thrown completely away from his vehicle and then a huge boom! as the large wheeled vehicle explodes.

Kasai wakes up from his backlash as from an intense pain shoots through his head. Looking up he feels a wave of heat pass over him and looks up to see leaves above him and then he passes out again.

Cin is thrown from the bike trying to roll as she falls she lands heavily on the ground, she realizes that they must have been moving really fast. The explosion from Red's vehicle was some ways in the distance. She then looks around and sees Merci` not far from her...crawling a little ways toward the other guardian she says, "can you see the kids?" Cin blinks spots in her eyes.
