Yes. I feel it a loss that my soundtrack disappeared without a trace.

Tim Burton and Danny Elfman are a genuine team, I know. More credit goes to Henry Selick, who directed it (Burton was doing Batman Returns at the time---and he had known Selick since they worked together as Disney animators [belive it or not], and they, as Selick said in the "Making Of" on the speial edition version: "I'm from the same planet, if not the same neighborhood as Tim." Tim knew Selick ws the man for the job) and Caroline Thompson, who wrote the script and did the screenplay for the movie.

The characters, and the four leaders of the progress. I am working on everyone else, because it was their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm that brought it all to life.

Has anyone here ever seen the actual original version? because your all talking about the DVD which means you've only ever seen the slightly-edited and re-made newer version. I've got a copy of the first 1993 version on video from when it first came out. I guess there's not much difference in them but I know the first one so well that when I saw the second one I could pick out every diny detail that was different and it really annoyed me..

My favourite characters are by far Skelington Jack and Sally & Zero is really cute. when i was younger the mayors angry face & some of the other citizens of halloween town used to scare me.. it was my first ever proper scary movie & is why i'm so obsessed with fantasy and horror now in both books & movies.
