Nuriko stiffled a giggle at Tasukis expense as well. The whole idea of crossdressing to get into the palace was amusing- something he could pull off without much thinking, but still rather ironic with all of them here.
"We cant afford to loose Tasuki here, not when we still have so much further to go. After we retrieve Subaru and Yui we'll have to hurry back to Konan."
The warrior explained as he did the finishing touches to the girls hair. The brightly colored butterfly clip he found was placed to the side of her head, accenting the rest of the dress. He nodded in approval and pointed to the mirror infront of her.
"There you go, now I guess its my turned to get changed."

Kouji looked confused for a moment as Subaru darted off. "But...but food! Damnit Kouji run! But the food! Kouji you can eat later! But the food!" With an angry sigh he bolted after her.

Tasuki stared at Miaka, she did look nice, what was this? 'I'm actually noticing how a girl looks!' "Yeah you uh...look alright," he muttered. He then scowled when he later heard her laughing as he struggled. 'Why am I doing this?' he wondered to himself. 'Is being a Suzaku seishi really that important? Is it? Where's Kouji in all this mess hmm? Is he looking for me or stuffing his stomach?'

Miaka smiled at Tasuki's comment. It made her happy. She giggled and then stood up and walked over to Tasuki as Nuriko got dressed. She stopped infront of him and pulled his cheeks.
"Your blushing Tasuki-chan!" she said giggling, "You look so cute!" she said hugging him and then putting on a completely serious face
"Meat Buns." she exclaimed.

Tasuki bristled slightly as Miaka hugged him, what was with this girl?! He'd never met anyone who was so friendly to strangers! "Meat buns?" he wondered aloud. 'What's with this girl? I bet Kouji would be laughing his head off at me right now and all the other bandits.' He scowled at himself unable to shrug her off, he didn't want to hurt her feelings again.

A startled expression formed on Yui's face as the stranger gladly rushed towards the table and helped himself to the food that the servants still hadn't gotten to tossing out. When it came to food, he strongly reminded her of how Miaka would act once the bell would ring for lunch. Honestly, the girl acted like the school starved her. Her eyes momentarily saddened before they quickly grew into irritation. It was stupid of her to be thinking of Miaka when her so called best friend fooled her the way she did. She never had a friendship with Miaka, she was only being used by that wretched girl and Miaka left her the minute she was no longer needed. The only reason Miaka was on her way to the palace was an attempt to stop her from becoming the priestess so she would be the one to make the wishes instead. No...she wasn't going to let Miaka win. She wouldn't...Her thoughts were soon interrupted by Subaru's voice and Yui blankly glanced up the girl's way. Pet? This human man was her pet? A small scowl formed on her face at the thought. Just what kind of people were these Byakko seishi? Subaru surely caught her off guard at the sudden sad expression. Her eyes seemed to be pitying her but why? She had all she could ask for here and she didn't have any friends like Miaka that only used her for their own selfish purposes than it finally dawned on her that the girl's expression was probably from fear of having her life ended. Yui didn't seem that very suprised the moment the girl took off down the corridor. Knowing that Subaru wouldn't get very far, Yui shifted her gaze back Kouji's way in time to see him bolt after the girl.color]

Miaka let go on Tasuki and then continued to play with his new look. She laughed and smiled and drooled thinking of the meat buns she planned to make Tasuki buy her later.
"Tasuki where did you live before you were a bandit?" she asked curiously.

"With my family," he retorted grudgingly, "a father who was so dull you wouldn't even notice him, a mother with HUGE breasts, they gave me a fear of milk, and five, you got that, FIVE sisters!" Tasuki loved his family and he did visit them, although only one sister remained at home now but he'd needed to get away desperately. "I do love them like but seriously, they scarred me, I guess you could say the bandits are my family in a way now."

Miaka sweatdropped at Tasuki's comments of his family. Their familes were completely different. Miaka was very close to her brother and her mother did not have huge breasts.
But then Miaka smiled, "I'm glad you found another family. But You know..." she said looking up and smiling, "I want you to be part of OUR family too. With me, Nuriko, Hotohori. We're in for a long adventure and I'd be glad if you joined us" she said nodded and smiling even more. "And then my meat buns...oohh the joy..." she thought.

"Well I can't just ditch my bandits you know nutcase," he said with some fondness, "but it's a nice offer. I know the legend of the Suzaku seishi and all but you're the one who gets the three wishes here not me. I can't really leave Kouji in charge, the guy needs to get out but there isn't many other options and as for Kouji, he's the guy I'm trying to find, it's not safe to leave him on his own." He gave her a fanged grin. "Seriously, what do you plan to wish for should you get all seven seishi?"

Miaka frowned for a second with Tasuki's refusal. But then quickly went back to her old, maybe too cheerful-self to mask it. She listened to him and wondered who this Kouji guy was.
"My wishes? Umm...maybe to pass my exams...and food! Or I could ask to look beautiful like a super model! Or maybe all the meat buns in the world!" she said as sge laughed evily, but then calmed down and shook her head, "But in all honesty, I really don't know. Maybe a wish for Yui. No, definatly a wish for Yui and then I'd probably ask what my seishi wanted..ahahaha...stupid hm?" she said putting her hand behind her head and laughing.

"You're obviously very close with this Yui nutcase," he commented with a wry smile, "and it's a nice thought asking what your seishi want but you've gotta remember, there are seven of us. If it helps, there isn't a lot I'd wish for, life's good being a bandit." He laughed loudly and gave her a wide smile.

Miaka finally reliezed Tasuki was making his first real smile since she met him. She clapped her hands and smiled just as wide.
"Eh! It's your first real smile! One that's not fake!" she said nodding. "I like it, it suits you!" she said winking. "and, yes Yuichan is my best friend. I've known her since we were little and shes always been there for me. That's why I'm scared for her...acutally...terrified for her." and she then looked at Tasuki, "but...being a bandit is lonely also...isn't it?" she asked.

He found himself smiling wider at her comment, this girl was so easily amused! "No it's not lonely," he retorted, "not really, I live with a group of bandits. I'll admit there's a few who I'm not close with but I keep them because they've got nowhere else to go and they're good at what they do. I do have Kouji though, he's my best friend, we're like brothers now I guess. Kouji looked out for me when I first joined, he told me to call him 'big brother' and the idea's kind of stuck even though we were rivals. He was competing to be leader but I beat him!" Tasuki laughed again.

Miaka smiled evne more seeing Tasuki smile. It felt great to her, to bring out someones smile like that.
"Tasuki-chan you sure do have a nice smile!" she said then leaping on top of him and tickling him, "And with all that bandit money you sure are gonna get me alot of meat buns! You AND Kouji-chan!" she said laughing. She jumped off scared that Nuriko would kill her if she messed up her look and then she stood up patting herself clean, "It's really not fair those bandits got you first" she said upsettingly. But then she smelt that a meat bun cart was passing by and she lifted her nose in the air and happily skipped after it.
"Meat bun truck! Wait uppp!!" she yelled chasing after it.
