Hey, cool thread! don't want to see it dead.. wink
Not exactly Naruto, but there was a question about the japanese word for "moster".. You might use "bakemono" which I believe is a kind of monster / demon / troll / evil thingie...
And I heard somewhere that the ending -ko meant something like "child of..." But don't take my word for it.

But don't take my word for it. Bakemono does mean monster, but doesn't 'oni' work as well? For demon anyways.. And as for -ko, I think you're right about that also because I know 'Miyako' means Child of March, or child born in March, so to speak. 3nodding

I wanted to clear something up - UZUMAKI means spiral, and NARUTO are teh fish cakes in Ramen. It was getting to me ^^.
___ no da = It is ___. For example, saying, "JupiterK no da" means, "It is JupiterK's", it refering to an object, such as a headband or guitar.
'no' is a possesive, such as 'Kage Bunshin no Jutsu', literally means, 'Jutsu of the Shadow Replicas (or something).
Minna - Everyone Hai - Yes Iie - No Neko - Cat Inu - Dog Usagi - Rabbit Tori - Bird Rei - Spirit Ai - Love Egao - Smile Hitori - Alone Hana - Flower Ecchi - Pervert (not as bad as Hentai) Hikari - Light Yami - Dark Kokoro - Heart Mirai - Future Kizu - Wound Mori - Forest Omoi - Feelings/Memories Senshi - Solider/Warrior Okaasan - Mother Tousan - Father Anki - Brother Oneesan - Sister Ano/Demo... - But... Kawaii - Cute Chibi - Small Tama - Ball Tsuki - Moon Hoshi - Star Kami - God Jutsu - Technique Deshi - Apprentice Shinji - Believe Tenshi - Angel Umi - Sea Watashi - I Onegai - Please Yume - Dream Yappari - After all Zettai - Absolutly Sou ka - So I see or Is that so Daijoubu? - Are you alright? Ossu! - Yes sir! Urusanai! - Means either 'Shut up' or 'I won't forgive you' Makenai - Don't give up (I think...) Aku - Evil Oni - Used for a demon with horns Kaizoku - Pirate pirate Shinobi - Ninja (Male) Kunichi - Ninja (Female) Hyuuga - I know it has something to do with 'Sun'. sweatdrop
HORRIFICS- -chan = used for small children and very close friends, sometimes pet names between lovers -kun = used for male friends/crushes -sama or -nim = someone high above you in power or status -san = like Mrs. or Mr., refurring to someone older than you. Also used for mountains (Fuji-san) -sensei = teacher -senpai = literally, 'one who came before'. Used for upperclassmen. -hime = princess

xTwisTx Yes. Very helpful. ^^ I just have a question about Neji's translation. I heard that it means bird, which I don't quite agree with either. ^^" it means 'screw', hence his trademark jutsu KAITEN!
