iStoleYurVamps You know you play DMC too much when you: -Have dreams about beating levels using the strangest of weapons (like a watermelon) -Draw fanart of the characters...with out meaning too. -Have nightmares about being hunted down by Jester...(ONCE!) -Spent 5 weekends doing nothing but trying to beat all the modes to get all the art work, all the outfits, and all the upgrades for the weapons/moves In real life you CAN 'double jump'. You have to have MAJOR body control to do it though. You thrust yourself in the air and then make ANOTHER FULL BODY thrust up and at an angle. My fried can jump 3 feet in the air (while running) and another 1/2 a foot by doing a full body thrust. Its possavle, but you can't do the same thing as Dante. Its not possable. And as for running up walls: ANYBODY CAN DO IT. Its hard, and you fall 1/2 the time while trying it, but IT IS POSSABLE! ( I can only run up about 1/2 a foot) A friend of mine can run up 4 feet (geting a running head start mind you) and do a back flip off of the wall. Or she(yes she) can turn her body around and (while falling a bit) she thrusts herself off of the wall and goes into a roll. Its majorly cool to do when your shooting a remake of a battle for a YouTube video. Please oh god please will you make a Youtube video of that? smile

Heck, some people can do a minor form of the floating thing when they jump, coming down just a little more slowly. Or even come down faster. I can't explain how, but I can do this. Especially when my timing's off playing Dance Dance Revolution... Or when I'm running. But I've noticed I have to be in a certain mind set, so maybe it's my head playing tricks. lol

Wow, been a while since you been on.
You know you play too much DMC when you and your brother have a grudge and actually try to kill each other untill you realize you're making too much noise when you hear sirens...not me. Just thought it up.

Our brians slow down to let us get the information faster, and react quicker, like when you get hurt, right before it happens thing slow down a bit. Or something like that. And the jumping thig, It on Ypoutube somewhere, I'll have to find it...It might have gotten taken down though...we cussed alot it.....

You play too much DMC if you go in a closet or under the bed and start spraying with your airsoft/paintball gun and breaking everything inside with a stick ; thinking your attacking and killing the boogeyman .

(Sorry for the resurection of an old thread, I just have too many unused ones to resist throwing them in.)
- You know when you play too much DMC when you can actually make sense of the back story of the game. -You know you play too much DMC3 when you realize the lyrics are really about how freaking hard the game is. -You know you play too much DMC1 when you actually consider remaking the game with different voice acting. -When you say “Wow, a talking mutt. You’d win first place in a dog show. Woah there, how about a walk? Come on puppy, let’s go!” whenever you take your dogs (or your friends) out somewhere. -You know you play too much DMC when you make a list of all the laws of physics it breaks (that list is huge.) -You know you play too much DMC when you imagine having a character in your class. -You know you play too much DMC3 when you wonder of Dante dyes his hair because his eyebrows and stubble don’t match his hair. -You know you play too much DMC when you actually buy all the odd sub stories (anime, comics, books…) -You know you’ve played too much DMC3 when you can spot all the numbers on the level. -You know you’ve played too much DMC when you’ve made back stories for all the untold instances of characters. -You know you’ve played too much DMC when you’ve made back stories for BOSS characters. -You know you’ve played too much DMC when you’ve made back stories for all the minions you fight. -You know you play too much DMC when you feel an irresistible urge to create Dante/Vergil/Sparda/Eva/Trish/Lady/Jester/Arkham/Mundus/other/all of the above character in any place you can make them. -You know you play too much DMC when you deny that DMC2 exists because it wasn‘t made by Capcom. -You know you play too much DMC when you enjoy kicking cameras. -You know you play too much DMC when you shake your head at Vergil in DMC4 therories because he blew up at the end of Devil May Cry 1. -You know you play too much DMC when you actually know Dante’s mom’s name. -You know you play too much DMC when you can’t resist saying the title in the way that is usually said in the beginning of the games. -You know you play too much Devil May Cry when you wonder where all the holes Dasnte should have in his trenchcoats went. -You have an explanation for where all the holes in Dante's trenchcoats went. -And, finally, you try impaling yourself with swords just to be more akin to our pretty main character.

You know you've played to much Devil May Cry when...
When you want to name your future kid Dante
When you bought the Divine Comedy simply because the author is named Dante.
You acctually know that Dante and Vergil are very loosly based on two Roman poets.
You and your friend make up stories about Dante and Vergil's childhood.
When you write with a pen Devil May Cry lots of places in the city (The buss, on your desk at school, random walls etc...)
When you read every piece of litterature that has the name "Dante" in it.
When you constantly try new, fancy ways of writing Devil May Cry.
When you've read the manga over ten times.
When you're trying desperatly to get your hands on the novel
When you become obsessed with the name Dante.
When you started to cry when you found out that the first Devil May Cry game is now out of production, so you can't buy it.
When you got over 100 Devil May Cry pictures on your computer.
When you get extremly frustrated that Gaia doesn't have an emoticon that looks like Dante.
When you actually write a You know you've played to much Devil May Cry when... Post.
When your constantly trying to requit more Devil May Cry fan.
When you get extremly jelous when you find out that your friends brother has the Devil May Cry game you couldn't buy.
When you've tried over 10 times to download the first game on your computer, even though you know that you can't play it on your computer, and that you can't play it on the PS2 since it isn't chipped.
When you try to convince your mother to get your PS2 chipped, just so that you can play the first Devil May Cry game.
When you actually watch someone complete the whole game over Youtube because you yourself are unable to play it.
...I'm afraid I'm guilty of all of these charges! sweatdrop

... *slowly slinks into a corner for shame that she has nodded to every one on this list* Though sadly played the game after reading the Divine Comedy, and only doubled my efforts of naming my kid Dante after DMC.
You know you've played too much Devil May Cry when you know all the silly referances that have been made to Devil May Cry in other games (Devil May Sly, Devil May Weep...)
