Tails led Lillian onward, but he was a little lost. After all, he'd been counting on flying to the museum, which he'd done several times, not walking. "Hey, do you know the way to the Museum?" He asked a frightened looking child. Fearfully, the child pointed left, said "That way!" then ran off. "Hey, wait! It's dangerous over there!" Tails said, running over and scooping up the child, wincing as he was sent off-balance. Then he weakly carried the child back to Lillian with him. "C'mon. Left, he says." He said, wincing as he spoke. This whole busted-tails thing was reeeeeally getting to him right now...

Lillian patted the kid on the head, smiling assuringly "Aww, just follow us ok? we'll help and get you out of here." she nodded to tails, but in the short time it took to look up to him and then look back, the child had vanished without a trace, a eerie childs laugh echoing through the rubble-filled street and a cold wind blowing. "Umm...l-little kid?...tails, lets get out of here, this is getting creepy." She helped him up again, heading off towards the museum as the wind kept blowing and everything seemed a little more dark.

Suddenly, they were surrounded by zombies, the child with them. Only, now he didn't look like a child. He was a Zombie as well, or at least, something akin to it. Was he the cause of all this? Tails shook his head. No time to think about that, he had to fight them! But, there wre hundreds! He'd given his bomb-making materials to Blaze and now had only a pistol to fight with.
"Damnit...." He mumbled, still off-balance from his tails being busted. He could feel them healing, but that only added onto the pain of any wounds he got! "Think we're gonna make it?" He mumbled to Lillian.

Lillian nodded, loading a special white bullet into the pistol, she'd made many types for just about any weapon imaginable. "Of course, they may be dead, but they can still see. Shield your eyes!" she fired after yelling that, closing her own eyes tight as the bullet hit the ground infront of the zombies with a deafening bang and a very bright flash, scaring and blinding the brainless horrors as lillian grabbed tail's uninjuried arm and dragged him through and opening in the crowd, the zombies soon regaining their senses and giving chase as lillian fired a few normal bullets into their crowd behind them. "Tails! keep an eye out for anywhere we can hide, we can't run forever!

Tails nodded and looked around, then yelped as thre child fired at them, hitting his leg, making him fall over. Then he was tugged up by Lillian and he ran with her, then let go. "I can't escape them with this leg! They'll follow the blood!" He said, then ran off another direction, leading them away from Lillian. Where was Sonic, and why wasn't he here? Did he become a zombie? He could hear them giving chase, so he ducked into a large box, feeling them run by. Giving a sigh of relief, he winced and pulled out some bandages. He had very few left...
He started wrapping the bandage around his legs, cleaning up the wound beforehand. Luckily, the bullet had whizzed right by his leg, so it wasn't inside it. He then put the bandages and stepped out of the box, looking around. So far, it was clear. But, for now long? Could zombies smell anything? He knew nothing about the super-natural.
Walking back out into the open, he saw no zombies, but Lillian was nowhere in sight as well. "Lillian!" He said, walking around the dead silent city, looking for his friends. "Blaze! Gex! Guys? Where are you!?" He said, then collapsed on the ground, exhausted from running and in pain. Where was he? Where did he turn, how far did he run? He was still in town, he knew that. But, how far from the others was he?
Hearing the zombies coming, he ducked into an alleyway and watched as they ran by. Then he followed them, hoping hey'd lead him to the museum. Sure enough, they turned off, but he'd reached the museum. Giving a sigh of relief, he walked up it's steps and opened the glass doors, then looked around for his friends.
((I'm gonna guess that they all made it, okay?))

Lillian hugged tails as soon as he entered, probly startling the fox severely "You're ok! I felt horrible when I realized I accidentally left you behind. They got your leg now? gee...you're really getting hurt alot tails, think you'll be ok? We don't have to go get any extra blood for you right?"

Tails shrugged. "I don't know. I feel kinda' woozy. And you didn't accidentally leave me behind, I broke away myself so you wouldn't be caught if I was." He said, then sat down. "...I need some rest...so...tired..." He said, his eyes half-closed.

Lillian gasped, knowing it was blood loss "tails?! hey, stay awake now, i'll see if I can go get you some blood. The chopper that was supposed to be carrying the rescue team had medical supplies on it, maybe some packets of blood survived! do you know your bloodtype?"

Tails was too weak to speak and all this walking had re-opened several wounds, not to mention her hug when he came in. He was in immense pain, how could he remember his blood-type right now?

((not really, we'll just ditch the blood type ^^; after all, we're not going for realism))
Lillian laid tails down on a bench in the mostly sealed gift shop and handed him one of her spare guns she found, even if he had little chance of aiming it. "Theres little chance of zombies getting in, but if they do, just shoot them the best you can. I'll be back with the blood as soon as possible." she quickly hopped off, back outside where two zombies were waiting. She shot the first in the chest and with a sizzling noise, it began to melt and bubble. She shot the next and he burst into flames, lillian checking the inside of the chamber "Hm, why'd I randomize the bullet types.... she took out the white and yellow bullets, adding a few more red.

Tails held the gun limply in the only hand he had that wasn't busted up. He could hear people creaming, and some people running outside. Was Lillian one of the screamers? He could only lay down and let the things rush by in his head. Was a zombie nearing? He didn't hear one, but then again, he didn't hear them the first time, either...

"Tails! Tails, where are you!?" Tails looked around as he heard someone calling him. Was it Anna or Trixie? He couldn't tell. He just knew that there was danger coming after them. He heard screaming, then running, then nothing more until his shoulder was hit by a zombie's axe from behind, making him cry out in pain. "Guuah! Damnit! Die!" He said, turning and firing at the zombie. It fell and he watched it on the ground, looking at the gun in his hand as he held his shoulder. "...Anna...Trixie..." He said, then flew out of that building. Maybe they escaped? He flew on into he ran into an apartment building, where he was stuck shooting at zombies until help came.

The sound of Lillian returning broke him from his thoughts. He glanced over at her and sighed. "...I miss my friends...Anna and Trixie...the zombies probably got 'em..." He said, his expression sad.

Lillian sighed, nodding to him and hooking an IV into his arm, holding up the blood packet "I didn't see them tails, but I did assist a group of people running away for as long as I could. I don't know where they got to, but one said that rescue is severely delayed. He said the military fears spreading the zombie infection by rescuing a possibly infected population. I fear they might not come anymore...."

Tails cursed out a nasty word about them, then sighed. "Well, fine. If they won't help, we'll have to." He said, then winced. "'Course, we can't do anything the way we are." He said, sighing as he looked at her. "Lillian? Um...Thanks. for everything."

Lillian bowed politely "You're welcome, it was the least I could do. You should stay in here untill your wounds heal a bit more, theres no windows and its mostly sealed. I'll try to find a radio and contact the military, maybe I can change their minds."
