Im Danni, im 16 and ive been playing for about 4 or 5 years kinda lost track.....i like to call my self a fiddler even though im still learning( i believe its a long process). i play mainly bluegrass and what not but i want to try and do some celtic. hmm if there is anything else just ask....

Wicked Hi! I'm a 25-year-old guy from Finland, studying music theater student at the moment. But don't let that fool you, since I've played the violin for over 20 years now. I stopped studying it when I was 17, but I still play it every now and then, or whenever needed for a gig or something like that. I also play the piano and now my concentration goes fully to singing. ^^ I've played in several different student orchestras and also in professional orchestras. I've also had a chance to be part in different band productions and also do recordings if my friends have been in a need of a violin for their demo CDs. The last classical piece that I've actually seriously played was Tshaikowsky's Violin Concerto. Also Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen has always been close to my heart, being the last piece I performed as a solo violinist while still studying...

hi, my name is faith and i play the viola!!! i've been playing for about 8 years and i love it!!!!!!
i'm in a youth orchestra at the music institute in our area and a orchestra at school, which i hate because the only other violist has been playing for a month and doesn't even know how to read alto clef! xp

hi i'm LDSforever and I reallly like this guy!!!! oh wait sorry anyways I've been playing the violin for over 10 years, i absolutely love it and right now i'm perfecting Sarasate's Inroduction and Tarantella for a concert coming up really soon- really nervous-won't think about that right now....

Do you play any other instruments?: Piano for 4 years. Though I can hardly play anything.

Hello, I am Leah, but my friends like to call me Aqua.
I have played the violin for about 6-7 years.
I also play a little piano and the drums, both self-taught.
I like to listen to all music, including rock, country, hip-hop, rap, ect.
Solos? Not really any right now. I am in a quartet though.
Yes, the one at my school, if that counts.
Well, I'm in a band, but it's just a joke, we don't ever really do anything.
I don't know what you mean by this, so I guess not.
I personally enjoy classical.
Well, I used to live in Kansas, but now, I live in Russia, so I suppose it doesn't matter.
Practice my violin, play with my pets, hang out with my friends, and practice my colorguard (yes, I was also in band...)
Yes, I have two dogs.
I really love all types of vegetables. Noodles are good too.
Uh, interesting fact? I don't really know. I guess that I'm not very creative works...

HI!!!! I'm music974 and I've been playing the violin for three years. I also play the piano. I've been to competitions but I've never won unfortunately. I've also been in honor orchestra for three years. Um.. I like manga and rock music. Umm.. I don't know what else to say.

What solo piece/pieces are you working on right now? i'm preforming beethoven's romance in F major tomorrow, and we got music to play a medley of phantom of the opera songs in school orchestra in the fall

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to Gaia and a strong viola player who has been accused of playing violin. I've been playing violin for 10 years, and viola for 7 but my scholarship is for viola and its my major instrument. (Plus I just like viola playing better smile ) I listen to classical music primarily, I do listen to other kinds of music. But 8 of my 9 GB of music in my hard drive is classical music. Right now... I'm working on lots of stuff seeing as how I'm getting ready for a recital. I'm working on: Brhaums Viola Sonata in f minor Allegro, Bach Brandenburg Concerto No.6 in Bb Major all three movements, Martinu Rhapsody-Concerto Allegro, Bach Partita No.3 in E Major Prelude OR Paganini Prepetual Motion OR Brahums Viola Sonata in f minor Adagio. And next spring I get to play the Mozart Double Concertant! Also, in orchestra we're playing Tchaikovsky Symphony No.4, Night on Bald Moutain, and Dvorak Cello concerto with our winning cellst and Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo-Capricio. In chamber we're going to play all 4 of Vivaldi's Four Seasons with the violin proffessor at our college. And Tchiakvosky's Souvenour de' Florance for our trip to L.A. next spring. I got alot to do! I've been on tour with various orchestras to New Orleans, Chicago, San Antonio and last spring Beijing China. In my free time, if I'm not on Gaia, I'm playing video games or actualy practicing for fun. Yes, I practice for fun. I like Bach, alot. What is an interesting fact about yourself that you want people to know? My friend Emilia was in the WICKEDEST band ever nakmed Bart and the Breadpicks. (theres a story behind the name I swear it,) It was a bluegrass band she played fiddle in. She's definetly one of the best violinists Ive ever heard and its because of her I begged my parents even more to let me play.......also....I'm EXTREMYLY crazy.
