Back at his post, Saradin continued his time consuming occupation. After several hours of banging out the worst areas of rust, it would still be a little bit before even this first step was done. But at least it was again beggining to reveal the prized weapon underneath. Greatful for the company, he began to empty his thoughts onto Eclipse without thinking. "Time and care are needed to repair this, and though I have the care I don't know how much time I have before Catherine will show herself here." The subject was always eating since his return, growing slowly to paranoia of her attack. "I'm actually helpless to stop her." He lifted the still hot chunk of metal into the air with steel tongs and watched the sunlight glisten against its newly revealed surface, "She can only find peace by his touch."

Again granting the small distraction his full attention, Saradin placed the Soulforge's detached blade onto the anvil again. "You know, it's not easy being what we are. Of course, until a month ago, I had never known what I was. But, it does explain why I felt so alien in the pressence of others." He flexed one hand and focused his thoughts, distorting its shape, and into some form of claw. "I'm not human... Not by far, and this is something of what I really look like." Then like a hallucination that was never truly there, the hand was again normal, trembling a bit as the power tapped coursed through it. "Just how have you kept yourself from those things that tempt with thier powers?" He heaved a heavy sigh and tried to focus more on completing the sword.
((Got to go now, try to be on later tonight... but I cant guarantee anything these days.))

Eclipse gave Saradin a whimper, short howl and nudge of affection to his leg, and let him go about his task, as he turned his attention to Blaze. The winged wolf quickly decoded the animal speech and barked back to him happily. Turning azure eyes on Flare, he found that half animal half human connection that had allowed him to speak with Bastet, present in her. And into Flare's thoughts seeped the soothing voice of Eclipse. 'I don't believe we've properly met, I'm Eclipse.'

Flare looked down at eclipse. "hello, My name is flare. I belive yours is eclipse?" she said while stroking blaze out of sheer habbit. "and this is blaze"

'Aurahkah mentioned your name before, I was too busy paying attention to Blaze to catch it though.' He fluffed his wings and circled around the pair, logging away their scent in his mind. Stopping, he stretched his wings a little, careful of their span, flexing them then folding them back in. The fairly large shadow wolf turned his gaze back to the two and gave another tentative bark to Blaze.

"Blaze can only speak wolf, so if you wish him to talk to you, you may need to learn it a bit better" she took out two peices of raw meat and fed it to blaze and eclipes, and looked around "do you happen to no were Aurahkah is?) he said

Eclipse audibly snorted the cross between a growl and a whimper. Did everyone who knew him have to mention his inability to communicate smoothly with true animals? Forgetting it he quickly ate the treat offered him, taken aback by the taste, he wasn't used to eating his meat raw. He then concentrated for a moment, tapping into Aura's thought pattern. 'She's sitting in the great hall, you want to see her? Come on.' Giving his wings on swift movement, he glided barely above the ground and into the mansion, skillfully folding his wings just enough to fit through the doorway. He waited at the doorway for Flare and Blaze to catch up,then led the rest of the way straight to Aura, who he rudely bumped in the arm to get her attention.

"hello" flare said to aura. "you have a extreamly intelligent animal here" she said pointing to eclipse. "so how are you?"
Blaze was trying, with great difficutlys, to figure out how to speak to eclipse withought barking. He was all wolf, although do to his massive size, flare had always suspected he had further powers

Aura looked up from her reading and smiled. "Hello Flare, thank you, be careful though, he's a charmer..." She sighed a moment and set her book aside. "I'm good. What about you, enjoying your stay here?"
Eclipse was studying Flare, drawing on any animal instincts he knew he possessed. In his primal wolf mind, which he had knowledge of because he chose the form or a wolf when created, was letting him recognize simple barks and such. He was glad he was a good interpreter with actions.

Flare smiled "I fall victim very easily" she said stroking eclipse. "well i must go" she said turning torwards the courtyard. "O, and i am enjoying my stay very much" and she and blaze walked off to the hot springs ((g2g))

Aura stood and stretched, smiling when Eclipse stepped closer to lean against her.She stroked his ears and leaned down, placing a kiss on top of his head. "I've been reading up on you. And you shouldn't worry about your place dear, you fit in wherever you are. You can learn true animal speech from the other wolf, and Bastet said she would help too." She smiled and stood up straight.
Eclipse bumped his head up, forced Aura to jump back a little and he took the opportunity to jump up on his hind legs, using his wings to hold himself up then let himself drop forward so that his fore paws draped over her shoulders, as if he was a human hugging her.
"Eclipse, you're heavy, have you been eating snacks again?" She laughed as she got a 'Guilty as charged' message and the wolf returned all four paws to the floor.

After a week of suffering alone Pheaura decides to leave her room. Her back pain is getting unbarable and she hasn't seen Quain in a while. She trudges to the kitchen hoping there might be something to releave the pain she's been having.

The smell of falcon and angel feathers caught Eclipse's attention. He barked once and ran off towards the kitchen, delighted by the familiar smell. He walked up to Pheaura and barked again but whimpered when he noticed the way she was acting. 'Phea?' This was his first attempt to mind speaking with the girl. He figured if Dagan and him could do it, since Dagan was a mind reader then if Pheaura was a mind reader, she could too.

Pheaura tried to smile as Eclipse's thought entered her mind, but it came out more of a grimace. 'I am fine. Just a little back pain lately, that's all.' Pheaura responded to him. She hoped he wouldn't worry too much.

Eclipse made a trademark snort and relayed a few messages.
Aura poked her head into the kitchen mere moments later. "Now what are you talk-oh, that's what you're talking about." She stepped into the kitchen, walking over to stand next to Eclipse. "Well hello Pheaura."
