Mithlond - Mindon Lindlieva 24 Quelle in the Reckoning of Lindon 30 Narquelie in the King's Reckoning
Glorfirith had lost interest in the council by this point. She was still half listening of course but her mind had wandered elsewhere. She didn't intend on fighting and knew everyone else was quite capable of taking care of things. Glorfirith did feel it would be rude to just get up and leave though so she tried to pay attention to make up for even thinking of leaving.
That didn't last long though and she hoped that she didn't look like she wasn't there. She was mentally going over the dresses she had seen in her wardrobe when she had gone to change earlier. She was mentally kicking herself for not paying more attention to them.
Glorfirith glanced around slowly. Noticing that she was right at the edge of the porch and fairly close to the treeline she thought that an escape from the council might go unnoticed if she was careful. And even if some one noticed, with the amount she was participating, why would they even care if she left.
She slowly and quietly stood up and walked off towards the trees.

Mithlond :: Tower of Gil-Galad
::As Glorfirith made her way towards the trees, she failed to notice the elven maiden that also slipped out behind her. Arbrethil Faelivrin, great-grand-daughter of Finarfin, had also snuck out of the meeting, purely to find out what was bothering Glorfirith. Barely anyone had noticed the presence of Arbrethil, not even when she disembarked with Gil-Galad's entourage.
Arbrethil had followed Gil-Galad as a member of his entourage since Gondolin's destruction. She was indebted to him for his kindness, and he had even built her a room in his tower at Lindon. She was a member of his council, and being such, she was required to be present at the meeting. However, when the elf left the room, Arbrethil was intrigued. She knew of this elf, as she was a member of Elrond's household.::
"Meetings are dreadfully boring aren't they?"

Isilien Andunel
Isilien notices a woman approaching and when she addresses the Lady Nolah, she assumes she is one of the Bride-to-be's companions. The elf princess smiles warmly and waits for a response.

Glorfirith paused just on the other side of the treeline and turned towards the voice that spoke to her.
"Council meetings are indeed dull, cousin. Though, that is not why I left. There is to be a wedding tomorrow and I need a dress! Sitting in a council that doesn't concern me overly much is not very productive. I thought I'd sneak out and see what my closet has to offer."
Glorfirith was very happy to see her cousin after so very long. They had been in Gondolin together. After Glorfirith had left for Rivendell and so rarely returned to Lindon, she didn't see her cousin much.
"Would you like to join me? It's not much of a wardrobe but a second opinion is always nice!"

Nolah Pennbeleth
"Greetings Araloth," Nolah returned with a grin and then blushes when she realizes she had yet to introduce the princess. "Let me introduce Lady Isilien-Princess of Gondor and Daughter to our gracious host High King Ereinion Gil-galad." She waited while formalties and more greetings were exchanged.
"As for the question of help I would like you all to come to my chambers-today if we have time yet before we dine or after dinner if it isn't too late for you and so discuss how I shall...well my hair and such and there is a garment I have to I would like to seek approval for...you are married and would know better of these things but please, I want you to join us as well-and Araloth,Neniel and Loswen if they so wish."

Isilien Andunel
Isilien nods her head in greeting, smiling pleasantly. Greetings, Lady Araloth, she replies. Before or after we've dined is perfectly fine, Lady Nolah. Whichever pleases you, she says, turning back to the happy Bride-to-be. Talk of marriage, dresses and hairstyles makes the elf Princess smile, remembering the hectic days before her Midsummer ceremony.
Anarion poked fun at her, unable to understand why she made such a fuss over their wedding. Because for one who lives forever, it is a very important matter choosing to settle down with one and only. You are my one and only My Love. This is a very important ceremony indeed! Anarion smiles gently and cups her lovely face between his hands. You are MY one and only, Love. I am sorry for being foolish. It is certainly an important day.
Their wedding was lovely. They stood below the arch of the great doors of the Citadel of Minas Anor and spoke their vows, binding themselves to each other for as long as they live. Soft white roses drifted down from the upper balconies, blessing their sacred union while the citizens of the Tower of the Setting Sun cheered in delight. The full moon shined brightly in the vast indigo sky. Isilien wore a beautiful white gown; her hair decorated with small white flowers and a silver crescent moon at her brow. She looked very much the Daughter of the Moon. Anarion wore his silver armor with the White Tree of Gondor and a great mantle of a deep blue. at his side, hung Anarore in its sheath and he looked every bit the noble son of the High King. The feast was extravagant and the celebration extended well into the night. She was surrounded by family and friends and Isilien couldn't be more blessed....
Isilien blinks and realizes she is teary-eyed. The elf princess smiles to herself; the joy of her memories remaining ever close to her heart. Yes, there is much to do... she tells Nolah.

::Smiling at her cousin, she nodded in agreement::
I would love to join you, as a second opinion is a wonderful thing. I actually have to choose a dress of my own for the wedding.

Loswen Starlight Neniel Starfire
Neniel bows at Isilien and Nolah, out of a Ranger habit more than anything. Loswen smiles and hauls her sister upright by her shirt collar.
We'll be happy to help you Nolah. Before or after dinner is up to you.
Neniel, a bit nervous, runs a hand through her dark hair. Loswen says you're having a mask...masca...something...

Mithlond :: Council Porch 24 Quelle in the Reckoning of Lindon 30 Narquelie in the King's Reckoning High King Ereinion Gil-galad
Casually, Gil-galad turned his attention from his son-in-law, so that he could gaze at the map. The Northern Fords of the Lhun were sparely populated, and thus the High King realized that few other places would suit so well for an ambush. The evergreens were thick in that region, so that a company of green-clothed Elven archers could easily evade sight by the Glamhoth. Yet nearer to the Lhun, the trees thinned out, so that a larger company would not be obstructed in their ambush.
Gil-galad touched together his finger's tips as he nodded. "Such a tactic, Elendil, should be quick and efficient at eliminating such enemies that threaten our borders. I approve this ambush."
He turned then to Elrond, whom as Herald to the High King, was the highest ranked in the armies of the Western Noldor. "Elrond, I leave it in your hands to organize whatever forces you deem sufficient in preparing the ambush at Lhun. You have two days to prepare; we must reach the Northern Fords before the Orcs do."
The King rose from his high seat before the council, seeing that the ambush now lie in Elrond Half-elven's hands. He bowed before his counselors, and said, "Unless there is anything to add that I have forgotten, I adjourn this council." Silence greeted the High King's inquiry; thus, the Councilors of the King rose in turn.
Rising from his bow of respect and adjourning, Lord Ereinion placed his right hand upon Elendil's shoulder. Together, they left the council porch, passing under the grey arches and returning to the leaf-coated path outside. "That was not so long, now was it? Arnor and Lindon are in safe hands, friend," said the King, climbing the grey steps leading to the tower's door. "Now, what do you say to a delicious homecoming feast, hmm?"
The High King bowed then to the Council; signifying that the meeting was ended, unless others should have anything left to add.

Elendil the Tall Menegil Belmagol
Elendil nodded, and when Gil-galad mentioned the word "feast", he laughed heartily. "What do I say?! I say 'Ereinion, you are the finest host I have ever had the pleasure to meet!' Let us go, then! I long for the sweet and delicious strawberry cakes of Lindon!!"
"You are not the only one, my friend!" sounded Menegil's voice from behind. He, too, had not eaten for some time.
Elendil then turned to Anarion, who was rising from his chair. He had kept himself silent during the council, in fact, he had been silent since he got to Mithlond. Elendil called for him, and as Anarion neared the group, Elendil asked;
"What troubles you, my son? You have said nothing since your arrival."

Neniel smiles at the idea of food. She had not eaten well on the boat here, her stomach busy with other plans.
Loswen nodds, motioning for the door. If I am not mistaken, Princess Isilien, this is your father's tower. I know I'll get lost if I lead.
