Rihga And also, preventing Ben Affleck from ever being in a movie ever again. PLEASE PLEASE find a way to ban him. I almost poked my eyes out after seeing Daredevil, I wished I could go blind! I'm still fighting the good fight - I have yet to see Gigli, thank the gods.

Nakago Apparently I have not read FushigiGiggles...you'll have to provide a link or something to have that looked at. But I don't think he's back to normal...he CAN't be. Fushigiggles Linky
Tada! Its a parody with minor self-insertion (my friend wrote it, but I helped with some parts whee ), but we make fun of everyone, especially ourselves, so I really don't consider it one of those Mary Sue self-insertion-style stories. It really gets going around Chapter 3, so give it some time, please review, and lemme know whatcha think!
And yes, as a matter of fact, he CAN be. xp
Heee... Naki-chan's a perv...
And I'm sorry you saw Daredevil, Mrs. Tasuki. The only movie I've ever seen him in that was worth watching was Dogma. And of course Good Will Hunting is fantastic, though I've never seen it. sweatdrop

Without meaning to sound cliche here, my favorite has to be Tasuki. I've always loved bandits and pirates, and his Osaka Kansai speech makes everything all that much better. ^.^ This is my second year taking Japanese, and it just makes me love his Osaka Kansai more. All of those surface things aside, I've always had a soft spot for obstinate and short-tempered people. I happen to be one of them. 3nodding Though, I'm not nearly as loud--isn't he adorable when he turns red or shouts? ^^

Am I the only person in this guild that doesn't like Tasuki at all? I don't mean I hate him, I just don't like him.

I can see why someone wouldn't, actually...in real life, wouldn't he be the biggest pain? I'd probably want to kill him. xd Anyhow, as I said, I like the stubbornness. Have you ever read the children's book Wise Child by Monica Furlong? Obstinate person at her best. Now, I also happen to be quite fond of Nuriko. *glomps him...her..er..* Then, there's Hotohori, though it's possible I only have such a liking for him because Koyasu does his voice. Koyasu voice=me as puddle on floor XD

Actually now that I think about it...although Subaru is my favourite character (I'm aware she played a minor role but COME ON she rocked, she could heal and fight!) Nakago would have to come a close second.
...You see I have this thing for bad guys and I'm sorry, but he is just the best of the best in that anime...great background, great personality and he knows how to get what he wants.
And neither Tomo nor Soi shall get him...that's Subby's domain. ninja

Korin-Chan ...You see I have this thing for bad guys and I'm sorry, but he is just the best of the best in that anime...great background, great personality and he knows how to get what he wants. He is a well fleshed-out character, I completely agree with you on that aspect, and on principle I have to give him props as being a damn good anime villain, but... I just can't like someone who would so blatantly use people, and kill people, all for his own selfish goals... I've always been a bit of an "honorable villain" fan, I suppose.
As far as Tasuki goes, while I understand where you're all coming from, I think the fun thing about Tasuki is that Watase-san left a lot of his character up to the imagination. There are several ways you can look at him, and depending upon that way your opinion of him could change dramatically. So I find him interesting and fun in the sense that I can really dig into his character, and in drawing what I know of him can make some of my own conclusions about who he really is (and damn, I really sound like the pathetic fanfiction writer that I am! xp )
I feel like we've discussed all this before... and so the neverending circle of debate continues... sweatdrop

And you should show more respect for the Seishi who came before you.

Too late...it was already taken personally! blaugh Oh..I definitely merit something else...definitely 3nodding I on't feel that i showed inadequit resprect for any that I knew I shoud dhow such respect for...theough it is possible..as I'm not perfect (I know..sorry folks but it's true) I have been known to make, (On rare occasion) a mistake.

oops, double post. gomen ...I liked Nakie-poo's pun! In the cheesy, corny, wah-wah-wah kind of way...sorry I haven't been on for so long everyone! I was in Cali for Thanksgiving!
As for Tasuki stuff, I must admit he is pretty two-dimensional in the anime...(BWAHAHA I HAVE MY OWN PUN!)
I'm sure Genbu_Seishi_Namame looks like this right now: stare (I'm just kidding with ya!)
But really, Tasuki's character is kind of...lacking...in the anime, but it helps a lot if you read Genrouden, because it explains a lot. Also, the manga does a lot better with character development (Big Suprise there)
