"Here" He said, giving her his hand to help her up. And then he felt it. It was like a weird tingling sensation down the back of his spine, but he couldn't identify it. And he saw something. 6 somethings, to be precise.

It worked. The vision appeared again. Another person became clear. Yoshiko almost fell down again. "Whoa... It did work." 'That's five people so far...There must be something about us...I didn't recognize that woman across the street.' she thought.

Birdie's jaw droppped, and she stared at Cara. "H-How did you...? I-I didn't say...Did it?" Birdie touched down on the ground, neatly folding her wings over her back, before leaning againt a nearby fence, as she lsitened to other conversations going on, her gaze darting to Cara every now and then. She knew what I thought...

"Ah, well, you didn't." Cara mentally smacked herself. Great, awkward situation. Well, since things were going quite strangly already, might as well fess up. "There is this odd thing, you see. I see these, bubbles, about the size of a volleyball, white or black, that have feathers in them. I had finally figured out what they were about six months ago; thoughts. White are normal or good, or whatever, black are dark ones."

Yoshiko shook her head and stood up. Her wings flapped by themselves. She couldn't tell the difference between her wing muscles and her back muscles. "How do these things work?" she thought.

Birdie almost tripped again. "So what you're saying is...You can read minds?!" Birdie's eyes widened, and she put a hand over her mouth; maybe to stop herself from screaming. "This is too crazy!" Came the muffled cry from behind her hand.

"I got into the air without trying when they first came out...It can't be that complicated." Yoshiko thought. She stopped thinking about her wings and just took a few steps. She soon realized her feet were no longer touching the ground. Her wings, flapping by themselves, brought her higher into the air. "So if I don't think about flying, then I fly?!" She said looking down at everybody.
