What do 'dobe' and 'teme' mean?
I can use them correctly, but can you tell me the exact definition?? No problem. "Dobe" actually means dead last (or something along those lines), but the way that Sasuke uses it started from Iruka chastising Naruto in front of Sasuke, so he started making fun of Naruto. As the series goes on, it's more like a pet name that Sasuke has for Naruto because they actually become friends. "Teme" means b*****d and in japanese, it would be used as a suffix on the name, much like chan or kun, only as an insult. Naruto uses it in the same way that Sasuke uses "dobe" but it only started as a rebuttal to Sasuke's "dobe". Does that help? 3nodding

But everyone uses 'teme' in a much. . . nicer way.
That really doesn't make sense if it means b*****d.

THATS SO SAD!!! i hate a lack of good fanfiction >_< and actually i though dobe mean idiout as a pet name, or atleast thats what i read in shonenjump... my big sis calls me dobe and i call her teme! hehehe....

This looks like a sweet story...They just added that to the site, if you scroll down to the bottom and tell them that you're over 18 you can get right around it...I think. I am over 18 so I have no idea if they can check but I doubt it.
