Hiiii, thank you for the invite!

I'll admit, when I first got it and started exploring this guild I thought someone had made a mistake by wanting me to join, haha.

I love making avi's, but I really can't compete with other people's massive inventories and experience. It's nice to know that the guild uses Avi Builder instead of the main Runway, were you have to own the items.

I've been on Gaia since 2006 I think, but like a lot of us here, I've been on and off again with it over the years. It's been a year now since I've been back this time and it's been fun so far, despite all the site work going on.

Good luck to everyone in Cycle 8 and I look forward to being here! biggrin

I'm battea, you can call me that or bt for short. I re-joined gaia last year so I haven't been here in a REALLY long time (lol),
but I missed dress up a lot. So now, I love helping out with avi challenges in CB (thanks if remember me from avitober or
avimas ❤︎⁠ ), started my own closet in AT, and might work my way up to my own mini challenge at some point this year~

I'm a little surprised by the invite ngl bc I feel like I'm barely getting my footing with making avis again, but it's been a lot
of fun learning about the oh so many items I missed while I was gone and how layering now works. I know there's much
to learn from everyone here, so I'm happy to hang out and speculate and work up to a cycle challenge eventually!

Hiya,

I'm Currently Dissociating (Curre, preferably). Thanks for the invite!

I'm a dad and I work full time, so my time is somewhat limited on Gaia, but I somehow always make time for avi building- it's one of my few actual hobbies.

Love creating avis and chatting about items, layering, etc. If I'm not wasting away in the avi builder, you can usually find me lurking or yapping in CB. lol

When it comes to what I think I'm good at, shading/lighting is one of my favorite aspects of building a scene/background, so always feel free to ask for item recs in that area.

Honestly, I build more scenics than I do traditional avis, but either or can be a lot of fun when inspiration strikes. Feel free to check out my avi closet if you'd like to get a general idea of the type of avis I like to build.

hello! i was invited a couple weeks ago, but haven't introduced myself yet. i'm danpuringu. i came back to Gaia in the last couple months after being inactive for years. honestly, i'm actually more active now than i was back in the 2010s! i mostly lurk the forums, draw avi art, do puzzles, and compete in Runway

i love creating avatars for Runway, and try to enter at least one theme every day. i'm a fan of detail (sometimes too much detail that i need to scale back) and i especially love creating unexpected combinations with the layering system. i'm a perma-paw and all of my entries are for the paw base which makes it very challenging! i find the base so cute so i've stuck with it since it was introduced

i actually have zero human items in my inventory at the moment. i'm not super familiar with the human items at all, especially anything that's come out since i've been gone. the idea of competing in Project Catwalk is kinda intimidating because of my lack of item knowledge and experience with the human base, but i'm determined to try to compete the next cycle.

Hii! I finally remembered to introduce myself, eeek!

I'm another returning Gaian and while I primarily stuck to the human base in years past, this go around I've gotten into Paw avi's A LOT! They're so much fun but seem to be twice as difficult to get items for sadly.

I still do human ones though and one of my (also new) fav things to do is buy outfits on the MP that I feel drawn to and then using those bones/framework for inspiration, I create a brand new avi from it which honestly is super similar to some of the contests here so I'm kinda excited?

I love playing with color and lighting the most. 3nodding
