Victoria"Sure, I can help you." She said to the blonde haired girl (Kila). She had been making rope for quite a while now, and her hands needed a break from the work. She stood up and walked over to her, standing near her and smiling at her. "Well, shall we get to searching? I'm Victoria, by the way." She said, offering her hand out for a handshake.

Cain Ichimaru Helping the other's pull the raft and all it's supplies over to the makeshift shelter, Cain noticed the puppy jump out and take an interest in the little boy with them. It wagged it's tail and barked playfully at him, but the child still seemed scared of it. Cain knelt down next to the animal and the boy and pet the dog to show him it was ok. The dog was still just a puppy so it was harmless. They could train it to be a good pet. "It's alright. See? He won't hurt you." Cain said, patting the dog and showing the little boy that it was friendly.
Cain heard the blonde girl ask for twigs and he looked over. She had a flashlight in her hands and suddenly he realized that she was going to try and start a fire with it. Standing up, Cain went to find some dry, dead grass for her. That would work as better kindling than twigs to get the fire started. When the other male asked what she was doing, Cain answered for her. "She's going to start a fire for us. Make sure it stays far away from the water, the tide will continue to rise and you don't want the fire to go out in the middle of the night. We will want to keep it burning as long as possible." Cain said, returning to the blonde and handing her a large handful of dead grass. "Here, use this to get it started, it will catch fire easier." He said softly as he knelt down beside her to see if he could help in any way.

Boy I was glad that the guy showed me how nice the dog was. I slowly reached behind his ear and rubbed his head. "Who's doggy is this?" I sat up. "It norra bite me hand so I guess it'sa good doggy?"Obadiah I turned my attention back to my own work; I didn't want to give them I dumb look. Obviously, there were quicker ways to start a fire. But since I didn't have any really problem with her doing it her way, there was no reason to say any thing more. I guess, because I had to manually light my stove every day, it seemed like a pretty trivial task for me. I just smiled to my self and let them be. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to keep a fire tonight, though. It looked like rain, and I'd never experienced a rain in the middle on the ocean before. We needed that fire, though. I was starting to wonder if we should have moved more inland, but it was too late now. I looked out to the thickness. I could hear something telling me, "don't go in there alone!" The more I looked at it, the more eerie it grew. "Hey guys," I shouted. "How long do we want to leave the others in the forest?" I was growing concerned for O.

Bree Bree took a knife from the pile. She would call it her spoils of war. Looked at Obadiah. "I think another half hour is fine. I'm sure their just seeing what's around." She answered before taking her bra and underwear and moving off a bit of distance. She wasn't really used to all the excitement and just needed a break to think about what had happened. She took her purse with her and sat under a tree to relax and get out of the sun. She may burn up if she stayed to long.

Obadiah I wasn't actually sure I could wait a nother 30 minutes. I chewed the skin between my thumb and pointy finger and waited. To occupy my self, I went to fetch a nother few stone. I placed two on my shoulder and brought them back. "I shouldn't've sent her out there," I mumbled to myself, but probably louder than I wanted to. "I don't even know what's out there."

She gestured around them to make the point and just caught the end of the answer one boy had said to the other... She really needed to get everyones name soon. She sighed and startled when the one of the boys offered her the dry grass. She blinked and happily took the dry grass as she looked at were she had set up to start the fire. 'Probably should have set it up a little more uphill,' she thought. She smiled to the boy (Cain), "Thanks for the help. My name's Kila. I think this is good enough to start the fire... but I don't think it will survive the night if we leave it here." She scratched her head a bit embarrassed at her own mistake. Her green eyes followed the water line the ocean had left the night before and asked hopefully at him, "Would you mind looking for a better place to make a fire pit? Once I have it lit I can just transfer it over." ` • . • ● • ۰ • ● • . • ´ || OOC: . . . |/|

Bree Bree looked at Obadiah. "It's you're choice, I'm sure she'll be upset that you didn't give her some space." She answered to the man. "The dog can be all of ours. If we're rescued we'll talk about then." She told the boy. She turned back to Obadiah. "If you want I'll go with you." She told him with smile.

Cain Ichimaru Cain let the grass kindling fall into the girls hand as she smiled at him and thanked him, giving her name. Kila, there's one name down, he should be able to remember it easy enough. Nodding at her, he introduced himself as well. "My name's Cain. I'll go ahead and make a fire pit over there, just behind our shelter, closer to the forest." He said, standing up once again and doing as she asked. If she could get a few sparks going in that grass then she could easily transfer it over to a more convenient place if Cain set it up first.
Walking over to the shelter, Cain saw it was fairly close to the tree line where the forest began, so right behind it he started to place large rocks from around the area into a circular pattern and used his hands to dig some of the dirt in the middle away so there was a bit of a bowl shape to it. Once that was done he went back over to Kila and picked up the twigs and branches sitting next to her, taking them over to the pit he had just made. That would keep it going until they got some better wood for it. Still, it would be nice if they could find a nice, large, dead log to put on the fire. That was what they needed if they wanted to keep the fire going throughout the night. They would also need some cover for the fire to keep any rain from drowning it out. Some of the palm leaves placed a good ten feet above it would work well while still letting enough room to the side to let smoke escape.

❁ ❀ ~ Kila || ☼ || Kila ~ ❀ ❁ `• . ¸ ¸ . • • ´ ´ ¯ ` ` • • . ¸ ¸ . • ´ "Thanks Cain!" she said after him. Glad to have some help on this, Kila got busy once more. Taking out the circular piece she needed from the flashlight, she quickly replaced everything they way it was. She took the dry grass and one of the sticks she had chosen specifically for it's contorted 'v' shape at one end. It would be perfect when it came time to transfer the fire. She placed that first, then a small, dead palm leave then the draw and she fussed with it till it resembled a puff ball of fibers. KIla then rearranged herself so that she was facing the sun and figured what was the best angle to hold the glass. As she bent down and played with the light reflection, Kila had a flashback to when she was a kid playing with the magnifying glass to torch some poor ants. Well no ants this time around. Once she found the angle, she stayed still keeping the reflected ray on sunshine on the single spot of dry grass. "Now it's a game of patience," she muttered to herself. ` • . • ● • ۰ • ● • . • ´ || OOC: . . . |/|

Obadiah I looked at the girl, then the thicket, then my shelter. It was almost done, and I needed to finish it. "Nah... I guess I can give her them a few more minutes." The shelter was almost there. I had the area completely circled off, and topped with the chute. All I had to do was tie it all to gether with the rope. "Hey," I noticed them moving the fire closer to the shelter, "make sure you have that down-wind to our flammable home."

Victoria"It's nice to meet you Kila." She said, placing the twigs she had collected in a neat pile. She saw the man working on a hole, wondering what he was doing. She walked over and smiled warmly at him, "Hi! I'm Victoria. What are you doing and can I help?" she said, standing somewhat near him but not in his way.

Bree Bree chuckled. It seemed that was going to use her first suggestion. The girl yawned and hoped they would come back soon since she had used a lot of energy. The girl felt warm and she was sure that she may have sunburn. "I need a nap." She commented.

Obadiah "You may sleep when you are dead, ma'am," I laughed, weaving the rope through the trees I had pushed in to the ground. "Kama kwa sasa, tunaishi!" I smiled dumbly to my self. "That's right," I mumbled, "as of right now, we are going to live. I don't plan on dying here."Olabisi I slipped one more time, this time landing in some thick mud. I got right back up, with out asking the Oriental or the other guy for any help. I was this close to that water, and wasn't going back to Obadiah without it.

❁ ❀ ~ Kila || ☼ || Kila ~ ❀ ❁ `• . ¸ ¸ . • • ´ ´ ¯ ` ` • • . ¸ ¸ . • ´ She swore it had to have been 30 minutes when Kila started to really feel the heat of the sun on her head. She had forgotten how heat makes her drowsy and if there was one thing she did not get enough off since her capture it was sleep. She shook her blond head trying to keep her eyes from closing. 'I wonder which one will win my patience or lack of sleep,' she thought sarcastically. Thankfully fortune was smiling down on her because right as her eyes decided to fight back and close themselves up a wisp of smoke appeared. Kila blinked her eyes, making sure that it wasn't just a hallucination, and that there was indeed a thin stream of smoke emanating from the kindle. "Ohmigod," she whispered. Instantly her other hand was cupping around the mound of dead grass and leaves, away from the beach wind. She grinned lightly as this had an immediate effect on it, making it thicker, "Cain! I hope you have that pit ready 'cause I'm starting to get something here!" ` • . • ● • ۰ • ● • . • ´ || OOC: . . . |/|

Bree and Taro Bree looked at the guy like he was crazy. "We'll get off the island. I'm sure there is someone looking for us." The girl said as she got up. "I need to pee." She commented before stepping further into the woods, just enough that she wouldn't have someone spying on her while she took a leak. It was pretty creepy and as soon as she was done she would get back to camp. ~~~~~~~~~~ Taro looked at the girl as she slipped. "Hurry up. I'm sure they're waiting for us." The man said. He mostly wanted to get back to his camera and make sure no one had touched it.
