As soon as she was able to regain her balance, Rendeline started to fiddle with his feeble fingers looked down to her hands to avert her gaze. Again, she had to bother someone else for her carelessness. First it was Leon and now her. Though she really felt that she knew her she just cannot help but feel the guilt to eat her up, much more when she told her that she made her worry. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't... I didn't want to cause you any trouble." She was not sure why but she felt a little on the edge. When Leon came closer she whimpered and moved a backwards a little, afraid of what she was going to do with her until he talked about her earring. Rendeline blinked and lifted her head to look at her. She was sure that it was only Leon who knew about this so why... "Ah.. Uhm... Thank you." She nodded in as thanks and took the earrings from her hands. She laid them on her palm and saw that it was indeed the earrings that she had lost in the lake. Her eyes fluttered upwards to look at her once more, this time with much confusion in her eyes. "Leon?" She asked quizzically. Though it was obvious that it was absolutely impossible for it to be him. Leon was a male and this person in front of her was a female. She shook his head and let out an awkward giggle as she gripped into the earrings in her hand. "I'm sorry. I must be imagining things. I am really grateful that you were able to get this for me."

She couldn't help but chuckle. "I forget that you are not filled with information about reapers. Yes Red I am Leon. This is my reaper form. The form you know me in is my human form. Reapers are not given genders and can change to either of them at will. It's more of preference really. Would you prefer I was back in my male body?" She asked in consideration of Red's preference. She wanted Red to be comfortable around her so if Red wanted her back in her human form it was fine. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Rendeline's mouth hang open for a few seconds as her eyes danced on the person who claimed to be Leon. Surly this was not a hoax, right? For a person like her have zero knowledge about reapers. The only things she knew of, she got from Leon. After deliberating in her head, slowly she crawled a little closer to her reaching out her right hand to touch her face but then hesitated and sat back up as she pulled her hand with the other. If it were in the past she would most likely believe her right off the bat but for some reason she there was something holding her back from believing her just yet. However, she did notice one thing. Her actions may be different but her words were still the same as Leon's. Their physical structure maybe different but she still have the same hair color and texture. But most of all she gave of the same feeling as him. From frightened and hesitant she then felt guilty. For a master not to even recognize her own guardian was truly a shame. "I'm sorry if I did not recognize you and not believing you instantly when you told me that it is you, Leon. Truly I am a failure as your master." She took a deep breath and tried to blink back her tears. She had already caused him too much trouble now so the best she could do for him is to show her that she was fine. She had not much recollection of what had happened back at the lake but knowing her guardian she would risk her life just to see her safe. At least that's what she thought. "If you were Leon I know you know what my answer will be right?" She giggled this time not much awkwardly than the last one. She would always leave her the choice. She knew she could not make her human but at least she would be able toget something that humans have been bestowed upon, freedom.

However when she had said that she was a failure as a master it bothered Leon quite a lot. She didn't do anything at first but after Red gave her the answer of whether or not she wanted her back in her male form, Leon for once would decide herself. She stood up and faced Red, then extended her hand out as if she was reaching for something. It was then that the monocle that Red was familiar with Leon wearing appeared and was placed right in her right eye. A sudden change in body structure would take place. All that was heard really was a sudden breeze of wind blowing through the room, and just like that Leon was back to his normal self though he wasn't smiling. He then approached Red sitting on the bed next to her and reached out to softly rest his hand on her cheek, before speaking. "Red. You are not a failure as my master. You're already better than most I've had in terms of how you treat others. I respect you, care for you, and will do anything for you. So don't ever say that again, and please don't be hard on yourself. I prefer you happy over anything else." Leon had concern in his voice when he spoke to her. He didn't want her to cry. That was something he did not wish to see. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Still lost in her giggles she tried to convince herself that she was fine. This was not for her but for Leon. He was as important to her as she was to him, or maybe even more. Her giggle was though put to a halt as a breeze suddenly came into the room causing her to hug herself, protecting her from the cold. Due to that she was not able to notice Leon's action until she felt his hand on her cheek and refused to accept that she was a failure. His tone maybe calm and comforting but his words felt like he was scolding her. She placed her hand over his and slowly lifted her head. It was the Leon she had first met in the forest. She decided for herself that she would accept him wholeheartedly no matter what he does and no matter how he looked like. However, she would not deny the fact that she was more comfortable for him to be in such form. Closing her eyes, she then snuggled into his hand and nodded. "Un, I'm sorry. I won't say it again." She said softly and smiled. She stay in that position for a while before she remembered about her earring. Her eyes popped open and looked around to where she may have placed it. When she realized that it was on her other hand she started giggling and put them on. "I thought I have lost them again. Really I should be more mindful of my belongings."

It's something he always felt that a master should feel at all times. When he thought about it, when he had a master he was able to feel certain emotions when he was with them. But with Red he was able to show a lot more than just a couple of emotions. He kept his smile as Red put her earrings on. "They look great on you." He said with a happy tone. Happiness was what he felt when he was with her. Then a thought came to him. Perhaps it was because of Red's personality that allowed him to express some of his own. It depended on his master to some extent to how his personality would flourish. He rested her hand on her leg and spoke. "Red. You are a good master. You've given me the ability to express things I never thought I could. You make me feel human. Happy in another term." ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Being entrusted with such important jewelry by her grandmother was a privilege that even her mother was not granted. For loosing such heirloom, she really felt irresponsible. If it were not for Leon then she would have parted to these earrings of hers. A slight blush came upon Rendeline's cheeks when she heard her guardian's compliment. "Thank you." was all she said as she shifted from her sit to rest her head on his shoulder. Being able to spend this type of quality time with him made her feel at ease. They have only met a few days ago but somehow with him though there were instances that she was felt awkward with him, still, she felt like she could act freely as she wanted to without any pretense. He felt like home. When he continued to convince her that she was indeed a good master she smiled and kept her position. "So do I." She paused for a while before she continued and pried her head away from his shoulder. "I'm really glad that I was able to help you out somehow. I promise that I would do my best to be the best master there is." She giggled. She was really happy for this time he did not rejected the fact that she was giving him freedom to choose how he would like to be. The mere fact that he mentioned of him being human was already a progress. "This calls for a celebration." She said out of the blue as she clapped her hands once in front of her. "How about we eat out for today?"

He enjoyed comforting his master it was the only thing he knew how to do that made her happy. He listened as she then began to speak saying how glad she was to help him and that she would be the best master possible. He gave her a heartfelt smile and spoke. "And I'll be the best guardian you'll ever have." She then spoke about a celebration. She suggested that they should eat out today, and though Leon never really needed to eat he was positive it would make her happy if they did. "Sure, that sounds nice." He gave her a joyful expression after speaking. He figured if he showed his happiness that it would always keep the mood brightened up for her. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Rendeline smiled and reached for his hand pulling him excitedly out of the door. "Come on." She giggled. Right about now she should be asking of what had happened to her back there at the lake but she would not like to ruin out the mood. She could always ask him about it later on. For now she just wanted to eat at the cafe that they happened to pass by when they were looking for Renton's shop.

He really enjoyed having her arm wrapped around his, and just having her close by. A strange feeling of comfort and happiness came from it. Other than that the walk home was quiet. Once they made it back home and entered Leon would look to Red and speak. "Well, I believe we will be needing to get those sigils on your body." For some strange reason it felt rather odd to say the next thing. "I am going to need you to have...less...clothing on...I need to place the sigils on your back, feet, stomach, and hands. The sigils will be large and it requires my hand to guide the lines." Why did he struggle to say that? Maybe because he knew how Red would feel about it. The experience on her way back home was absolutely exquisite. It was really fun to watch the rain drops stopping before it was to get to them. An invisible shield, it was like. None of them uttered a word but despite of the cold weather somehow she felt warm in his arm. She was all smiles until Leon mentioned about putting the sigils on her body. When they were still back there in the cafe she was preoccupied with excitement about their journey back with the invisible force field but now that he had explained it more specifically she felt awkwardly embarrassed. Taking her arm away from his, "Alright" she said sheepishly. Walking to her room she then hang her hood and removed her dress maintaining her underwear on. Peeking out, she kept her body hidden from him to see, "Uhm..."... before she slowly went out hugging her arm. "Would this do?" He had already seen her naked after the her transformation so she should be at ease with him seeing her like this so why does she feel all shy all of the sudden?

But he shook off the feeling and nodded to her. "Yea, that's fine. Just lay down on the bed and try not to move much." He then led her to the bed and laid her down on her back first. He was hesitant at first to touch her body for some reason, but he would follow through. His finger would glow with a dark aura and slowly he would place it at the center of her stomach and slowly dragged it across her body to write the sigil. Once he finished he then began drawing the sigils on her hands. His face was near hers but his eyes remained on her hands but he couldn't help feel odd about being so close to her. The same happened when he had her feet in his hands to draw the sigils. After that he gently placed his hands on her side and hinted to her to turn over so he could then draw the final sigil on her back. This one was far larger than the last two so the constant presence of his finger rubbing on her back. Once he finished he lifted his finger off of her and spoke quietly. "I...finished." ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Rendeline followed his instructions lay down her own bed, blinking up to the ceiling, keeping her composure. A blush would be seen upon the maiden's cheeks though it was not that much visible enough if one was close enough and focus on it. Closing her eyes she tried to keep still as she felt the gentle strokes of his finger drawing the sigils from her body. With her eyes closed she was more aware of his touch, anticipating which part would go next once his finger was no longer in contact with her skin. The are he touched felt warm. Maybe due to the dark aura he had been emitting out of them all throughout the process. There were times when she wanted to let out a giggle just like when he started to draw on her feet but decided not to hence biting he lower lip. With her head now resting on her arms she sat up after hinting that he finished drawing the final sigil on her bad. "Th-Thanks... Do you mind... Handing me my... hood?" Putting on her dress back she straighten herself up as she waited for him to hand over her hood. That was an awkward moment for her. Hopefully she'll be able to grow out of it quickly. She wanted to enjoy her time with Leon. Although it was awkward. She would have to say that it was awkward good not awkward bad. If that makes any sense.

He never experienced that much difficulty in putting a sigil on someone's body before. How very strange but he found it interesting to feel. When Red was dressed he turned back and spoke. "I apologize if I made you uncomfortable Red, but now that it's finished we can go now." He then stepped closer to her slowly reaching his hands out to hers entangling his fingers with hers. Leon then closed his eyes and a sigil of time appeared beneath them. The world around them seemed to of slowly faded to black and then there was nothing, other than the two of them in the pitch black darkness. Leon would then open his eyes and look around the place. "Alright this is where we make a decision. We both must step together outside the sigil in a specific direction. The direction we choose down to the most tiniest angle will effect which alternate timeline we step in, and how we step in. So choose a direction and I will follow." ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇
