"Why wouldn't there be more?" It seemed the logical thing. When you saw a creature you hadn't before you didn't assume it was the only one in the world. "There were two here today, but one ran away. I didn't see them any better than Raidyn, but there were two."
She leans against a tree by Raidyn's bench looking over at him. "I wouldn't say it was like a spirit though. It was solid enough when I punched it," she raises a fist as if to prove she had hit the thing. "Cold, solid. I don't think ghosts are like that." She sighed. "Though like you, I don't think I did any damage. Just pissed it off if anything." She looks to Fayt, "We have you to thank that it didn't go on a rampage doing just as it bloody well pleased."

Akane follows the group and takes a seat on the ground, her legs folded up neatly beneath her. "It had an over all body structure similar to a raptor but considerably less streamlined, but missing front limbs. It had a thick powerful tail which Raidyn got to know pretty personally. Covered by jet black skin all over with exception to its face..." At that point Akane visibly shuddered as a chill went screaming down her spine. "It's face was like a bleached bone white mask with lots of teeth, big black eye holes, and red light in the middle that seemed to be like it's iris or pupil or what have you, and I'm near certain that there are more, and we'll be targeted..." She closes her eyes a moment before the flash open irises red once again. "Our auras, or inner energy, what ever it is I can see like this has been effected either by our exposure to either that monster, or perhaps by Fayt's power, Raidyn 's looks to be a bit brighter than the rest right now but it wasn't so much before he went for that ride. Not to mention this change in my eyes. It's amazing what I can see..."

"Well, why were you all able to see it and I couldn't?" Lina asked, narrowing her eyes. "Are you guys the 'chosen ones' or something?" Her eyes went to the claw marks in the ground. She hadn't seen them before, but that was mostly because her focus was on the dead kid in the middle of the courtyard. "Was it like aliens or something? No, that couldn't be it. I don't think aliens kill you and bring you back to life. Could they?"

As Amai reLined to the situation Akane watched her aura start to brighten and actually felt the hairs on her arm bristle. "Amai, you and Lina's aura look NOTHING like the rest of the people here. Just because you haven't dug the well deep enough doesn't mean it's dry. What ever changed in you seems to be tied to your emotions..." She looks over to Lina "I doubt it's anything as biblical as what you make it sound... just simple cause and effect, albeit highly unusual. I'm sure that there was some reasoning behind the attack, something that made at least Fayt and myself their targets. I include Fayt because I can't just believe his soul just happened to drop his body like a bad habit the one and only time thus far that it NEEDED to happen." She showed obvious concern on her face. If they were attacked again, what would they do? Could they just count on Fayt to drop out of his body at a moments notice?

"First of all, I have no idea how I left my body in the first place. I was just walking with Lina and then bam. It was like I ran into something invisible and I was out." Fayt paused for a moment recapping the event in his mind. "Secondly, We don't even know if I can do it again. I mean how many people have ever said 'Hey, guess what? I have the ability to leave my body anytime I want.' And lastly, there is the chance that even if I do leave my body again, I may just be normal like I was before that creature pulled the chain out of my chest." He put a hand to his chest. "If that is what has to happen to be able to use whatever power that was then no thanks. I don't know what dying feels like but I would wager that what I felt was close to if not how it felt. I never want to feel that again."

(( It's actually unnerving, now that you mention it, that no one called an ambulance... ))

Amai frowned. An aura... must be something most people couldn't see. Maybe like an invisible halo or something... whatever. So her's was different was it? Well. She'd just have to make it change back.
"Well, good luck learning how to f****g kill yourself Fayt. Good luck with the freaky eyes Akane. Have fun figuring s**t out Raidyn. You all can fight those monsters if they come back. Me? I'm out."
Amai pushed off from the tree and started walking back into the building. Students had now gathered around the busted door and claw marked ground taking pictures and making exclamations. She ignored it all.
She couldn't get herself mixed up in this kind of s**t. She just had to be a normal kid. Absently she ran her fingers over her scared wrist. Just a normal kid...

Raidyn takes the number and puts it into his smart phone then sends a text to Akane with his number also.

That sounds like a good idea Akane I have sent you my number also. I have a feeling we will need each other if there are more of those things out there.

Raidyn takes and does the same as Akane and gives out his number to the others who wish to take it.

My family has a shrine on the north edge of the city with quite a bit of land with it so if you all need anything just come by and tell them you are a friend of mine. I am going to head home then and do some studying of my own.

Raidyn goes over to where his bag is and picks it up with the other broken pieces of the staff he used earlier and puts them in the dumpster on his way out of school.
