"But," Arcanum said, then he sighed. "I'll sleep on the sofa or something.." he said, upset because he's passing up an opportunity to sleep next to Lolene. "I don't want anything like that happening if not wanted, or planned," he explained.

Arcanum sat back silently. "I don't know, actually... I mean, I wouldn't mind if we did, but, not if we didn't like, want to.. You know?" He faced forward, looking at the screen, kind of deep in thought.

Arcanum's stomach churned and he sat back farther in his seat. "See, I-I didn't know if you did or that you wanted t-to," he said, starting to become shaky. 'Why the hell am I making a big deal about this?' he thought to himself.

Arcanum laughed and his muscles relaxed. "You're right.." he said, realizing how much of a wimp he was being. He looked at Lolene, tempted to say what she said, just to see what she'd say.

Arcanum smiled, but it grew into a smirk. "Hey babe, I've got nothing to do today.. Wanna get laid?" he said, stifling a laugh. Ok, he started laughing. He couldn't help it, saying something so blunt, yet joking with the words, because it was something Lolene had said. He sat there and looked at her with an innocent face.
