He did a quick search over the students in the room, and frowned a little, noticing how most were looking annoyed or just plain bored. Goodness. No one ever likes this subject anymore!
Mana looked at a boy who was sighing and was looking tired, resting his head in his folded arms. Mana snapped his fingers, forming a strong gust, knocking the boy in the face and causing the hair to blow away from his face.
"Please pay attention, little one! Yes, my lesson is very boring, thank you very much, but if I were you, I would at least make myself look like I'm interested." He gave him a faint smile, knowing that he wasn't the only one who was dozing off- another boy with an indifferent expression was sitting in the back row, tilting his chair and scowling at Mana. I must be a horrid teacher, Mana sighed to himself.
Determined to at least make sure the ones there were looking up at the front of the classroom, Mana channeled his magic into the boy's chair, causing it to flop backward, nearly making the boy fall out- just as Mana felt a huge surge of magic oppose his own, and the chair hit the floor with a loud crash.
"I can still see you in the back, sir." Mana muttered darkly.
