Duriono has an assortment of gadgets along with his starting lineup of weapons.
These include a headband that measures heart rates, and is activated when slipped over the eyes.
The ultra strong chains to his scythe which can repair themselves when severed, and also can function as a grappling hook.
And of course, his bullet proof hat.
Duriono used to have the ability to manipulate the steel. U: He lost this ability in the battle against Zephyr, but he used to be able to pull of some astounding stuff (and increase his weakness to Electricity, and nullify his weakness to ice)
But it depended on what was around, for one example, in a mission involving an airship graveyard. After being thrown into the side of a turbine, he then proceeded to incorporate scythe heads into the turbine, turning it into basically a LAZER after adding some of his own demonic essence.
Oh, and then he used it to fly around, taking apart a good percentage of the steel and shrank the rest of the contraption, strapping it to his back and taking flight.
It is why he was called the Gunmetal Mercenary, before they were officially even a group. Bishop gave him the title after he developed this skill, and just before confronting Brig and the First Sons for the first time, he called them all "The Gunmetal Mercenaries"

Since then, that skill became underused, most of their missions took place away from society anyway. Y: So I honestly forgot about it for a while.
This skill may be making a return soon, although, Duri's other skills; Summoning and an extra demonic form will never make a return. They were poorly balanced against the other mercenaries.

In one universe, Duriono lost an arm due to equipping an object which secretly had a BOMB attached to it.
In this universe, the bomb was a really old walkman. Y: And he only thought it was a bomb.

I have so many fun facts because I used to have these little stories in my head, and I wrote down like half of them.
The other half is still in my head.

Plus, I often take elements from the RPs I've been in and throw them into the continuity.

Bishop has a habit to attract dumb girls, recently, this hasn't quite been played as often though.
But Mary's habit to attract psychos and selfish bastards is still in full force. =3=
Speaking of Mary, she's a character who I've had quite some fun with over the years. She's been shrunk to the size of my thumb, I've had her breasts tapped down, which nearly caused her to suffocate. Oh, and of course, all of her female enemies consider her overweight*
(Note: Mary is actually the second lightest of the Gunmetals, weighing in at around 160- and that is only because of muscle mass and her curves. Below her is Key, but when Kira was in the Gunmetals, she was also below Mary.)
Anyway, Iris actually once went so far as to say that the reason that the waves suddenly picked up was because Mary was around, rather than the fact that the Crimson had planted bombs on the sea floor.
But atleast it's better than being fondled by her male enemies. =3=

Iris was never a central enemy of the Gunmetals, she was more like, Mary's counterpart. She was one of Mary's major antagonists and has dragged her into several horrid situations over time.

Bishop has a huge rivalry with Heirou, and they always hated eachother. It is often speculated that Bishop was the one who shot Heirou dead on in the eye, possibly because he was on the mission with the Gunmetals, and had split up from the group at the time.
Before the gate, Duriono actually had a very eventful life, he didn't go to the gate until his late teen years in some universes, and mid way in others
Oh, and he loves to snuggle up on couches with the Gunmetal Ladies from time to time, in which situations the characters often show their playful sides.
This has yet to happen in this RP yet. V:

Duriono once had an imaginary friend named Heo. Well, it was the second soul within him, (all gatekeepers carry two souls, one from birth, the other gained through their connection with the gate) I forget why or how, but he's not important anymore, and was scrapped.

Fun fact: Key and Brig were ace detectives, with Key doing the problem solving and Brig doing the force of the work. Their nicknames were Blue and the Bigman
This eventually stopped happening once people realized how young Key was.
They soon replaced Key with Mary and Brig with Duriono.
This duo's nicknames were The Boobie Lady (Lady, or Boobie for short) and Hat Trick.
They couldn't really get much done without some violence, considering Duriono wouldn't stop talking in monologues, and Mary had to dress up like Crimson Viper. It lead to things like this:

"I stood over the corpse, poor guy, must've gotten himself way in over his head, probably couldn't pay his dues, maybe blackmail, or even just bumped into the wrong person.. I lowered my perspective, examining each of the wounds, and the clothes of this man. His shirt was torn, done forcibly so. Like someone was yanking them over for a brutal stab to the chest...
Chest. I stood up and looked over to the Lady, her eyes were elsewhere, looking over the footprints upon this once lively park, now tarnished by violence.. But her chest, her chest was just as perky as ever, looking like the two moons of Saturn just flew into this woman's shirt with it's best friend. I'm no geologist, I don't care if Saturn doesn't have exactly two moons, the point is, her chest was, is, and will always be huge. Then, her orange eyes looked up and locked with mine, kinda like that awkward moment when you walk down the street with your girlfriend, only to find your ex-girlfriend and that one extremely unsettling moment when you stare at eachother, only that Mary's chest was my girlfriend, and the rest of her was the ex. She got closer, seemed to be irritated about something, but what? Her hand raised in a fist, and made contact with my nose, shattering many of the bones within, my recoiling body fell to the floor, cringing in pain. I looked back up at her and she simply said, 'can you keep your mind out of my chest..'
chest.
That's it! That's what was missing, that's what the imprint on the ground was, the man had a chest stolen from him, and he was stabbed in the chest! Now I have to go trace the knife, see who purchased such a special order. But first, I must black out."

She has a double personality? O__O

Ah.... I remember that. So.... her true personality is rather creepy and scary? That's not unexpected since she's the queen of the demons.... who eats people. O.o

Hm... I need to draw a full-body drawing of her. I'm thinking about modifying her hair to.... I can't copy one of Gaia's items for my own art, but it will look similar. :v Another character we never heard about might have an identical hairstyle anyway, since a lot of Gaia's items are based off of something.
