We were stripped of all sense of man Stripped, Whipped and beaten until we couldn't stand
They took away all sense of humanity Beaten and bound still we couldn't see "Where is my Identity? It is nowhere to be found" A dying man once said Soon after, he was dead
We were no longer human We were kicked, beaten; can't take it any longer We were given a number; stood in line With no sleep to slumber, one behind the other
"Where is my identity? It is nowhere to be found." We were given weaponry Walked on as a single body "Where is my identity?" "This is the Army" he said "You are not one man; You stand with many Your identity and theres Are all together; within this body"

Ther is a darkness in the day, and beauty in the night...
Ther is a heat in ice, and a cooling place in fire...
The darkness and the day I bolth do desire...

this was a song but...i turned it into a poem.it's not very good, but i was angry...and tired.the length of the lines varies a bit, too.
The words that I'm telling you aren't getting through to you you're telling me you don't care but as you're standing there i see the lie in your eyes guess i hurt you, never thought i could just by leaving, never thought i would i love you that's why i have got to go but i can't leave you alone now we're bitter enemies said you'd never be a friend to me but i've been hearing people talking saying you miss me, you want me back i don't believe it so again i'm leavin' i don't believe you care about me well if it's showing in your eyes why do you always tell me lies
like i said, not very good but.....oh well. and some of it doesnt rhyme. sorry. dramallama

My life...
He started as a happy boy Worked his way to happiness Nothing could make him sad.. He meets the love of his life.. They are together for better or worse.. She breaks his heart completely and leaves him for the wolves... He cries but nobody hears.. She dates his friends and kills him even more... His heart is a bombing zone and his eyes are clouds of tears that never stop He stands in his room.. The pale blue color of the dead sky rains onto his dark room washing him in sorrow.. She says she loves me but still messes around with other guys... He wonders if its all a game...if his life was just a redundant cycle.. And now he lives only for the pain of the world..he has no cause..no nothing...

Im not okay. I never was. Talk of me. Was never a buzz. Blades glinting. A crimson drop Upon your life is what I am. Your golden child is not I. Its her. I speak and get no reply. I stay silent and you've never wondered why. My music is dark deep to its beat and you wonder why I always need sleep. My eyes hold the key to what is caged in my soul I write to get it out, pain is like my shadow constantly there My smile seems so fake to me, but you believe it wholeheartedly. I paint my sins these thought i have upon my wall they go but you dont care you dont dare enter the threshold that is my abode people called me emo, when i expressed my pain with black dont dye your hair black! dont cut yourself! dont kill yourself! they said. i said i wouldnt, but a portion i do they will never know they have never known my pain they've always been perfect their smiles true their intentions good but their words hurt more than you'd think im a sensitive girl its not hard to push me to my edge but if you do, i cant be stopped falling into my rage and before i know it theyre laughing at me just kidding doesnt mean a thing to me anymore
(i wrote this spontaneously. check for more poems in my journal)

Princess Pele, with fire in her heart, swarms herself with many, many scarves. They blot out her light, so nobody can see the light and froth and the crush of her thighs as she sits on the subway line.
In her hiding she loses her home, the home in her heart that only one knows. Beaten and churning, roiling with pain, Princess Pele makes it so that none will know her, ever again.
She wakes in the night in the broad, bright light of a moon that watches her midnight plight to the edge of the sea.
There on a bridge, overlooking her throne, Princess Pele makes it known she's gone for good, No more! That's it! And pulls off her scarves in a single, great fit.
Her light outshines and caresses the eyes of witnesses, victims, and passers by, as Princess Pele shucks off her skin, and plunges, through the howling wind, into the sea.

waking up No Emotion. . . out of bed out to the open world.
check my phone check my pulse make sure my heart is still functioning
Is this a dream?
open the window get a smoke look out to the world and say hello
figure it out darling
But for now, don't let them bring you down It's time to get ready, time for the day to start put down your lighter and pickup the shattered pieces of your heart. you don't need to let your self down. . .not this time!
hide the scars and the tears in the box of agony, you have no time to waist there. . .
other people need you more than those who want to hurt you. put on a smile and race outside. face the day with your combat boots and don't be afraid!
