-Erik looked up at his love and smiled lovingly, ready to follow Edmund anywhere-
((I'm not fully ok, but after giving my whole heart to so many people to have it be rejected, neglected and torn to pieces, I don't think I will be for a long time. I'm going to a friends house in a few hours, and I have things I need to get done, so I'm going to have to get off soon anyway, and I'm terribly sorry that this is interfering with my ability to work the guilds...I'm sorry...talk to you later...))

Edmund sat on the couch, rubbing his temples softly. Everything that had happened following the war felt like a punishment for him. To tell him he should have stayed dead.

-Erik came in from doing the dishes and saw Edmund sitting on the couch alone. He softly walked over and gently sat in his lap and wrapped his arms around him-
Are you ok love?

Edmund jumped by Erik's sudden appearance, but he soon relaxed and wrapped his arms around the boy's waist. He pulled Erik close, and kissed him deeply. "It's nothing to worry about." It seemed as if Edmund was trying to reassure himself rather than speaking to answer Erik's question. His voice was nearly empty of emotion. Realizing this, Edmund looked at Erik and smiled softly. "I'm fine, my love. How are you and Jonathon?"

Jonthan is fine, he is asleep in bed, and I am focused on you, to make sure you are ok. I will be fine if you are love.

Edmund smiled softly and ran his fingers through Erik's hair gently and lovingly. He loved the scent of Erik's aura, even more so after all the events that had happened recently. His face suddenly fell as he realized he, his wife, or Yvonne had never told Erik of Yvonne's illness. And, he didn't know if he should.

Edmund sighed and held Erik close. He told him of the extremely rare disease Yvonne was born with--so rare, even Manaketh couldn't cure. He told him of the horrible affects it had on her. "And, today, she had another attack. It was an attempt by a grim reaper who was sent to kill her."

He shook his head. "There was only one other case, and that young girl died a few months after birth. No one knows what happens during the illness. No one can identify why it causes so much pain. Some biologists think that it's like ALD, but only for female nonhumans." Edmund looked at Erik. "But, Yvonne's mana was merged with Ratatosk's, and since, she's never had an attack until today. I think being bound to someone as powerful as him saved her." Edmund smiled softly, knowing Erik had never heard of Ratatosk before. No one really knew of him.

-Erik was still worried, as no one should be bound to another unless the want to be with them forever without any circumstances attached. He looked down wishing something could be done-
