Probably surprising to Eri, she completely skipped over the Disney movies, as she had seen them all already, and looked at the rated T and R selection. She showed interest in one horror movie, so she pulled it out and showed it to Eri. "Can we watch this one? It's daytime so I definitely won't get scared!" She wanted to prove that she was a big girl, so a scary movie was the ultimate test!

Eri rolled her eyes, kinda expecting this. "Whatever you want Kairi-Chan." She said, having seen it about four or five times. It stopped getting scary at that point. Popping it in, she wondered how Kairi would react to such a scary movie. She tried her hardest not to laugh at the scenarios, and pulled it off, though a little smile did appear on her mouth.

Despite what she had said before putting in the movie, she couldn't help but move closer to Eri for comfort. Whenever a scary part would show up on the screen, she would scream a little bit and wrap Eri in a hug before recovering a few seconds later and dismissing it as the only time that it would happen. It happened a lot, however, and it seemed like it would be more effective for her to just keep Eri in a constant hug. She tried her best to brave through it though.

Eri chuckled, letting Kairi cling onto her while the poor girl was scared out of her mind. Holding Kairi, she thought about how nice this was. She really wished she would be able to do this with a family of her own. She knocked said thought out of her head. She was still young. Also, she could always adopt if necessary.

Kairi actually managed to get through the rest of the movie without clinging to Eri too much at each scary moment. Gulping a little bit with a blush of embarrassment from how she had been acting, she said. "U-umm..I think I handled that better than most." She was looking away from Eri so that she couldn't see if her teacher was smiling or getting ready to make fun of her or something like that.

[Within Lorenzo's Room]

The shrill sound of the alarm cut through the cool room. In the corner of the tatami-mat covered room, reeking slightly of gun oil, burnt clothing, and of food, Lorenzo groaned his way out of the covers, crawling from the mattress cover and into the floor. An errant swipe scattered various beer cans and energy drinks, as his laptop faced him on the uncovered low-slung table. His days off were always like this. He remembered nothing much from last night, and dreaded looking into the various chatlogs and conversations he must've had.

In stark contrast to his corner of a room, the rest of the place was neat and orderly. Shelves of books and a western-style desk dominated one side, while closer to the door a decent flat-screened TV hung from a mount, beanbag chairs and a DVD shelf filled with various games and anime collections were within arm's reach of a PS3. The curtains were closed, the glow of the computer and a crack between the heavy curtains the only illumnation, while the large-faced red-LED alarm clock near his dresser showed what exactly what time it was.

Mercifully, the alarm had stopped, Lorenzo stood, his hair ruffled, as it always was, reading glasses barely hanging on. The book he was reading was set on the side of the bed, on a low table alongside an unhealthy concoction of energy drink and liquour. He caught the alarm as the first shrill beeps filled the air, mixed in with groans as Lorenzo's hangover got to him. Crawling back into bed, he curled up under the covers, knowing full well his true wake-up call would come knocking soon.

Eri laughed. "Yes, yes you did Kairi-Chan..." She answered, taking the younger girl into her arms, and put her back on the couch. "For someone your age, you are quite mature." She informed Kairi and then got up, stretching. She walked to her bathroom, scratching her stomach as she walked by. She was looked over to Kairi, "Want to turn on the television to see if you can find something interesting on? Or perhaps a board game?" She asked, as she locked the door, taking a bottle of medication, and swallowing two pills. She had to admit she had quite a headache.

Kairi gave it a little bit of thought before saying with a smile. "Okay! I'll see if there's something on the television and if nothing good is on, we can play a board game!" She took the remote and turned on the TV while thinking about what she had just been told. So she was mature for her age? That made her feel happy since people listened more to mature people than just a childish girl. Giggling, she flipped through the channels feeling proud of herself.

Lorenzo stepped out of his room, finally looking like a decent human being. His hair was messy, his clothes all prim and proper. Boots, cargo khakis, tucked in tee with a blue-white plaid pattern outer button down shirt that wasn't buttoned up. On his head trying to at least bring some semblance of order to his hair was a olivedrab designer patrol cap. Something he probably got for five dollars at WalMart in his last trip back to America.

The night was young, and he was gonna go see what bars were open. Yey for payday.

Dimitri exhaled into his hands, his breath moistening his palms as he tried to warm up during the calm rain that poured outside. He rubbed his hands looking to the window. "I do love the sound of rain." He said as he stared off into the grey clouds that hung around the academy. "Ah... That library adventure was interesting, but I never did get to see what he was looking for." Dimitri turned back to his table, a neat pile of papers sat in front of him with various markings and checks scribbled around it. Work was all that could be said about the papers as he rubbed his eyes, trying to relieve them from a bit of strain. "I'll finish this up, return the papers to the Dean and then get some free time." He nodded lightly as he looked at the clock. "It shouldn't be too much time before I finish this." With that said, he hunkered down and continued working.

A reserved yawn and well-deserved stretch came from a tired Dimitri. He looked down at his papers, all neatly signed and marked in the correct manner. He picked them up and straightened them out, tapping the bottom of the papers against the table top, the familiar clacking noise filling the room. He looked at the time and nodded, "On time." He stood up and looked outside, the rain was a bit harder now but was relaxing to him. He moved into his bathroom and turned on the shower, taking a moment to breath he looked at his reflection in the mirror. "Short shower and make the trolley to school. Or maybe I should walk?" He hopped into the shower as he thought about it.

Five minutes later he was already done with his morning refresher. Walking into the living area with a towel on his head and a pair of boxer briefs on, he moved into the kitchen to see if he had anything to eat. "I always come here, but keep forgetting that I haven't bought anything yet." He scrubbed his head until it was dry enough for him to put on his clothes without worry of water stains. Another five minutes pass and his regular attire was on. From the vest to his slacks, all he needed to do now was finish the knot on his tie and he could get going. As soon as he was done with that, he grabbed his lab coat and slipped it on with no problem. "Okay, now to pack these papers and get an umbre-" In that moment, Dimitri had forgotten that he hadn't bought an umbrella at all while he was in Japan. He snapped his fingers and picked up his bag which contained the paperwork. "Ah... I guess I'll just huff it to the trolley then." With that in mind he walked into the hallway.

Locking up his door, Dimitri heard another door open. He was familiar with its distant creaking and looked down the hall to see Himawari peeking through the crack. "Hello..." He said, a slight feeling of awkwardness filling his body. "Himawari-san, I just wanted to say-" but before he could finish, he saw her hand motioning him to come closer, "Huh?" He checked his door for a quick moment if it was locked then walked over to her door, kneeling by the crack she opened. "Himawari-san?" He tried to take a closer look but was surprised by her bright cobalt eyes. "Oh, there you are." She leaned as close to the crack in the door as possible, the lower half of her face suddenly in the light. Her pale skin looked almost as if it was illuminated. Dimitri froze staring at her eyes, she quietly whispered, "I'm sorry about what I did... I was embarrassed, so I just reacted like a child. Please forgive me and take this." As she said that the handle of an umbrella came through the crack in the door. Dimitri looked down to it then back to Himawari. "You shouldn't feel apologetic about it, I was in wrong, and I was only making it worse by saying awkward things." He took the umbrella and placed a hand on her cheek, "Thank you, and seriously, don't beat yourself up about this." She looked down and blushed, but the shadows hid her goofy smile before he could see it. He stood up and placed the umbrella on his wrist, making sure it wouldn't drop. "I'll see you later Himawari, I might be late for work." He turned around and started heading for the stairs, but turned to say one more thing, "Maybe we could spend a bit of time when I got off from work." He scratched the side of his face as he said that, trying to not feel like an idiot. He was surprised by the sudden response she gave, "Ye-Yes! I'll be lo-looking forward to it!" A loud shut of the door followed it and he let out a sigh of relief. Feeling better, he walked downstairs and into the rain, with his newly acquired umbrella opening up and revealing a heart design on the top of it.

Lorenzo had a bit of a late morning. He wasn't due at the library until after lunch, and he'd taken to sleeping in. He rushed out the door carrying his briefcase and wearing what was basically, boots, khakis, white shirt with a black tie, dragging a light jacket behind him with a piece of ham in his mouth.

Cirus approaches the building, checking the address on his phone and looking back up at the building. "Yeah, this is the place. Second floor... Mind you, I'll probably be staying out more often an not." He produces a key and opens the front door of the building, letting Azen in and handing him a second key. "That should let you into the building and work the lock to the apartment. Remember to lock the door, naturally." He makes his way up to their apartment and opens the door, stepping in. The area is furnished... had movers already put the stuff in the room? There's a TV and basic furnishings. None of the furniture is too fancy, but all the technology that's involved in the room is top-notch. "Make yourself at home. Ya hungry? Should be some food in here..." He wanders into the kitchen.

Azen followed behind Cirus as they entered the building and entered the room. After taking the key that Cirus gave him, he marveled at the furniture inside the room. He hasn't seen a room this of this 'caliber' for a while, and he smiled as he placed his bag down on a bed, and he looked at Cirus as he asked about his hunger. "Oh, indeed. I haven't eaten anything for the past two days..." Azen stated, rubbing the back of his head.

He would look out the window and look at the lights from the other buildings, then turned around to look at Cirus, "Don't worry, sir. I'll also be out for most of the day until I can find something to do nearby." the wanderer asked the counselor. With another turn, he looked out the window and gazed through into the night, then asked Cirus without looking at him, "Sakurazaki-dono is an excelling student, I presume? I would like to praise her for taking time out of her daily activities to escort me around the Academy... and I feel guilty that she didn't get to go back to her activity when my residence has been settled." It was quite obvious the wanderer has developed a bond with Setsuna, being the person he has had most contact with, not to mention their spar at the Kendo Club earlier.

"The past two-" Cirus looks over at him and sighs, shaking his head. "How do you not eat for two days... and travel, at that? I'm surprised you haven't passed out by now." He digs out ingredients from various cabinets, assembling them before he starts to mix them and what have you. "As for Sakurazaki-san, I can't say I know her too well... I understand her grades aren't -fantastic-, but she is a capable swordsman. I'm sure she doesn't mind too much, it's also my understanding that she doesn't know what to do with herself, lately. She hasn't had her usual charge around to guard all day..." He begins cooking on the skillet that was provided in the kitchen.
