Konoka took Masato into her arms, scratching his ears. She heard dogs like that, so she assumed Foxes did also. She rubbed his soft fur against his face. "Look, look Set-Chan! His fur is so soft..." She said, finding Masato irresistible. He was.... his fur was too soft not to touch. It seemed like a shame if no one was ever petting it at one point. She wondered what type of food Masato-kun liked. She would cook it for him. "Masa-Kun. What food do you like?" She asked him, not really expecting an answer. She just did impulsive things like talking to a fox. It's not like anyone would think she was more insane because of that, she was always like that. It was how she rolled, to use the more hip phrase.

Masato got up and deftly trotted over the seats to Konoka before she picked him up and he hugged her around the neck with his front paws while she scratched behind his ears. When he was human, he wondered why dogs loved being scratched behind the ears so much and it wasn't until he was turned into a fox that he truly understood why. He then felt Konoka rub her face against his fur and heard her tell Setsuna that his fur was so soft. 'Just wait until winter...just wait until winter,' he thought. That also gave him the feeling that Gilly would probably use him as something similar to an electric blanket or an electric bed warmer when winter came rolling in and he wouldn't be surprised if Konoka suddenly asked to "borrow" him. Konoka also asked him what kind of food he liked, but Masato remained silent...although he could imagine the look on Konoka's face if he suddenly spoke and fluently described one of his favorite dishes to her. However, it didn't take long for the waiter from earlier to come with everybody's orders and Konoka's question was soon answered when the waiter put his plate of bratwurst along with a side dish of potato wedges down next to Gilly's plate.

Masato turned his head towards his food and immediately turned back to Konoka, hugging her with his front paws and swishing his tail before jumping down to the floor and trotting lightly back over to his seat next to Gilly. Bratwurst....a thick, spiced sausage covered with cheese in a freshly-baked roll of bread with a side dish of potato wedges. The smell was tantalizing to Masato's nostrils and he soon took the knife that came with his plate in his mouth and sawed the roll and the sausage in half, pushing his half into his side dish using the knife blade before gently dropping the knife and nuzzling the other half of the bratwurst towards Gilly in its plate. Gilly mentioned growing up in New York where hotdogs were well-known and Yggdrasil's bratwurst was like your typical hotdog, squared with its seasoning and the kind of bread and cheese used to wrap it. It was something he wanted his beloved owner to try while he chowed down steadily on his half, prior to licking his chops and working on the potato wedges.

"Right." Ian replied to Gilly's mention of Zoreken. He surely hoped that when the time came, his master would approve of his relationship with Gilly. Just thinking about it again gave him a feeling of a mix of anticipation and nervousness.

Shaking the thought off, he looked down at the menu. Normally Ian didn't each much food in terms of meals or 'good food'. He was more of someone to fast for training purposes, or just eat something to keep him going like nutient suppliments. He'd gotten used to that through the training that his master put him through.

"Hard to decide... Hey, Gilly, would you reccommend anything?"

Konoka turned to her food. She looked at what Setsuna ordered. "Open wide Set-chan!" She cut off a piece of her steak, moving it to Setsuna's face. She just loved teasing Setsuna. "Think of it as an indirect kiss!" She told her, nodding furiously. She then noticed what Masato was doing. "He's a smart fox. I hear the bratwurst is excellent..." She nodded. It hadn't occurred to her that a fox might not be able to cut their food with a knife, but it's not like she'd been around many foxes before.

"I'd recommend the wrust," a familiar voice told Ian as a tall blond, tanned, man stood behind him with a smile."Knowing Zoreken, he probably fed you those disgusting supplements it's probably best that you start small." He looked over to Gilly and grinned."Yo! Is Ian still spazinng out?"

"Yes! Masa-kun's brilliant. I think he learned it by himself before I took him in." Gilly mentioned, spotting the halved bratwurst, and smiling warmly, and divided her own plate in half, and placed some of the asparagus on Masato's plate, while picking up the bratwurst, and then commenced to stroke Masato's fur just once, and nodded. "Thank you, Masa-kun. But you need to eat more vegetables." Gilly then scolded and reminded Masato, sounding like a mother.

Not that reminding someone to eat their vegetables was something new to the New York inhabitant. Gilly's grandfather tended to stray away from vegetables himself, and he liked to eat street food, and many junk food on their movie nights. Gilly, who was taught by her mother to eat healthy, often hid vegetables in whatever her grandpa ate, to get him to eat vegetables, whether or not he knew it.

Pausing to answer Ian's question, Gilly was interrupted by the familiar voice, one that the girl was both annoyed and excited at. True, Noah was a good friend of Ian's, and he was spectacular in defending Mahora Academy last year, but his eccentric behavior, and absolute insanity could drive the girl nuts. He was the complete foil to the honorable, humble, and serious Ian, but Gilly hadn't seen him in so long, that she was almost pleased to hear his voice. Once the memories of the past kicked in though, Gilly's smile was replaced with an exasperated, annoyed expression.

"Noah-san..." Gilly greeted the blond haired man, standing up to greet him, but instead of bowing like she did to the other people she'd met today, Gilly held out her hand in a handshake, the American way. Not that she didn't respect Noah. She did respect him...for his fighting abilities. And that was it.

"Ian? He gets crazy at my touch. Naturally." Gilly grinned. "Where have you been, Noah-san? Still up to your....odd antics?" Gilly commented, referring to Noah's perverted behavior, childish at times.

Masato was about a third of the way through his potato wedges before he moved his face away and allowed Gilly to put a small helping of asparagus on his plate. She was right. He did need to eat more vegetables and Masato began chowing on the asparagus obediently and swishing his tail after she told him to. Besides, the potato wedges near the edge of his plate were still too hot for him to eat. Masato swallowed another piece of asparagus before he heard another voice followed by footsteps approaching their table.

Gilly quickly identified the newcomer as "Noah" and it was clear to him that they were familiar with each other, although how, he didn't know. It also became apparent to him that Noah was a mutual friend of Gilly and Ian. If those two trusted him, then Masato would as well, though he smelled something very strange in the air about Noah. Flesh and blood he was, but he smelled of spirits...a light, tingly smell like incense imbued with magic that refused to stay put...something he smelled around shrines or temples, but Noah smelled strongly of it and it seemed contained around him. Masato's mercurial eyes watched Noah as he finished the last bits of asparagus on his plate and began working on the potato wedges again. German food was filling and he had just eaten far more than your average fox ate in one day. Good for the coming winter and good for becoming more "plushie" like Gilly and probably Konoka wanted.

Setsuna blushed, accepting the piece of food from Konoka, since she wouldn't be given a choice anyway. She nearly choked on it with her next comment, drinking her water. "K-Kono-chan...." She said, calming down. She should have been used to Konoka's tendancy to say things that bothered Setsuna, but that seemed impossible. She looked at Naoh, then blinked. "Noah-san. Hello, it's been a while." She said, nodding a greeting to him. She remembered him and the...oddities that surrounded the man most of hte time.

((Puppet Setsuna if you like. I'm making an annoucement of an absence.))

Konoka giggled. "Setsuna, you're too shy." She smiled, her teeth showing. She stared Noah as he came. She thought that he reminded her of someone, but she didn't remember. "Hello.....I'm Konoka Konoe. And you are Noah-San?" She asked, thinking. The name sounded familiar, but then there must be a hundred Noah's. Nothing special about him. Not at all. She then turned her attention to Masato. He looked like he was starting to prepare for winter. She remembered a fact she once heard about how Foxes developed a great fur coat in winter to combat the cold. Or at least some sort of foxes. She made a mental note to borrow Masato on the colder nights in the year. She giggled softly, turning back to her food.

Sheldon was now turned away from the table. Too many people now. It was fine with the few of them, Setsuna, Konoka, Gilly, and Masato. However, now more came. He didn't like the feel of too many people. However, there was something odd about the newcomer. He could sense that Masato knew it too. However, he didn't ask any questions. Animals were naturally more attuned to magic then humans were. Same as their ability to know when weather was going south. He couldn't tell what specifically was wrong, but he could sense at least a little magical power hanging around. Though that might just be the fact there was amazing magical energy flowing through Konoka, and that everyone here had some magical potential. Including the fox. So it might be lingering on the newcomer... Noah his name was, right? However, Sheldon's attention was soon diverted, his food had come. The Zucchinisuppe und Pumpernickeltoast mit Kräuterquark was excellent. Just like they made it in Berlin. He had learned long ago that food was best served in the home country, and probably better even in the capital. However, not always. He knew that Souther cooking in the US was only good in the South. However, his experiences were limited, so he chose not to call himself an expert on the topic. However, on species of the dog family......
He was shook out of the deep thought he heard something crash to the ground, and he sprung up. He looked around, making a scene. Just hearing things... Just noises from your head. He kept telling himself that, yet he was uneasy, it was probably time for him to head home anyway. He placed out his credit card, then motioned for the waiter. "I'll be paying for both tables...." He nodded, then smiled. He was sure it was fine. It wasn't like he was desperate for the money. However, that meant he would have to stay until the whole bill was settled. Which was no big deal, it would give him plenty of time to himself.

Pay for both tables? Masato's mercurial eyes widened subtly as he came close to finishing the last of his potato wedges. They say the way to people's hearts is through their stomachs, but Sheldon Happler, with his credit card practically drove a dump truck into theirs. Such generosity. Masato made a mental note to help (or bail) Sheldon out one day if he needed a favor or ran into trouble for his generosity towards him and his comrades. Masato then finished the last of his potato wedges before licking the area around his mouth and brushing a few stray crisps off his muzzle with his paw, only to burp unexpectedly. Being Gilly's magical familiar and pet definitely had its advantages, but he wasn't loyal to her because of what he could get. His loyalty towards Gilly came from the fact that she gave him a new start at life and there was no limit to what he'd do to aid her and protect hers.

Noah couldn't help but to laugh, "Probably..." he told her mischievously and playfully, "...but don't worry, I'm controlling myself...most of the time." he said with a laugh as he looked at the...fox? "Well that's new for me. A fox that's obediently eating his vegetables." He said with a laugh. He noticed how the fox was looking at him...and immediately covered up his body.

"Ok, that fox is stripping my clothes with his eyes, if it was a girl then I'd be fine with it." And there is his eccentric side. He looked over towards Setsuna, and gave her a big smile. "CHIBI-CHAN!!!" he yelled as he literally leaped onto the back part of her seat, and stared down with a eye-smile. "It's been so long! Why haven't you called me for the last year? You know how sad I can get!" he cried before a glint shined in his eyes. "Oni-chan's cheeky rub attack!" he announced as he rubbed her cheeks against his. He stopped when he looked at Konoka...then back at Setsuna...

...then back at Konoka....then back at Setsuna....then back at Konoka...and then back at Setsuna...he blinked....and looked back at Konoka. He simply gave her a smile. "Yup, you must be Set-chan's girl." That's what he said outside...but inside.

CHIBI-CHAN IS GOING FOR THE DOWNSIDE!?!?!??!!? Sorry Benkei...but Noah has failed you...

Konoka looked around her. "Me? Set-chans girl? No no... You got it all wrong!" She said, nodding vigorously. "She's my girl.." She placed an arm around Setsuna, pecking her cheek, "See?" She asked the newcomer, who was obviously not acquainted with Konoka's antics. She would keep this up for a few weeks, even if she was an airhead. Set-chans reactions were just too cute! Not that she ever pushed it to far. She knew Setsuna would always save her in the end of the day, so she tried not to make it a habit to annoy Setsuna too much.

Ian almost freaked when he heard Noah's voice, though it was out of excitement... and a little of 'oh great... he's back...'

"Master Noah!" Ian nearly shouted and jumped up to give his old teacher a bow and maybe even a hug as well. He wanted to hopefully catch up with him without something crazy or perverted happeneing, but that went out the window in an instant. "I-i don't go crazy at her touch..." he mumbled to himself, already having his unwanted perverted thoughts come into mind from that little statement.

There was also Noah's outburst from seeing Setsuna. Ian sweatdropped and sat back down, waiting for things to calm down. "Eheh..."

((OOC: We'd best finish up here, as it would be logical to change the schedule soon.))

Done with her asparagus, as Gilly had quietly been eating her dish, her eyes peered around the table. Wasn't someone missing? '...Eh? Where's Happler-kun?' She thought, but didn't catch sight of the too-generous youth, who had paid for their meals.

"That fox," Gilly commented, pushing her plate away from her, to signify she was finished. "Is probably wondering why I and Ian both know such a lunatic, and why this lunatic isn't in an insane asylum." Gilly retorted, crossing her arms. "And second, "that fox" is Masa-kun." She finished, but Gilly was sure Noah hadn't listed to any of it, as he observed Kono-Setsu and proceeded to rub cheeks with Setsuna. At that action, Gilly winced. Poor Setsuna.

At Konoka's comment, Gilly grinned slightly. She really was finding out everything, really, everything about Setsuna from Konoka. Amazing. In the midst of chaos, Gilly reached for Ian's hand, clasping it, and giving it a quick squeeze, and looked up at the night sky nonchalantly. It was pretty dark out, but it was a semi-romantic setting. Dinner with her boyfriend, albeit, with four uninvited guests, but Gilly liked this peacefulness. No worry of William, or any demons. Just, normal dinner at Mahora.
