Hikari changed in the locker room and headed to the track where they were all supposed to meet. The class hasn't begun yet, but there were a few guys there and two other girls she didn't know. They stretched before the other students came, and some started with a light jog. The teacher held a clipboard, a box of stop watches and a box of popsicle sticks. "Everyone gets a stop watch, no stopping the time I'm warning you. I'm a black belt and you better believe it!" There were a few good natured snickers at her words. She smiled and continued, "Be sure to pace yourself, you have two miles to run. That's eight laps around the track." She was cut off by a few groans, but they were ignored. "Each time you come around, I'll hand you a popsicle stick. It'll count your laps. You may run extra laps for extra credit." There was a moment of silence, then, "Go! Move! What are you gawking at?"

The students shuffled around, grabbing stop watches and taking off. The boys went first, the athletic ones taking the lead, but still pacing themselves. The rest soon went after. Hikari spent a few seconds trying to figure out how the watch started before she ran off. It wasn't long before she took the lead and grabbed her first popsicle stick, half a lap ahead of everyone else.

Kiyoshi woke up as soon as he felt something hit his head. He looked around and started to think about who would throw something at his head. He knew that the kids around him were too scared to throw something at him, the people in the front were too far away. The only person who could've done it was sitting right in front of him. He put his hand next to her ear and flicked it. "Don't ever do that again" he said as tired as he was it was like he had no energy to say it.

Kiyoshi heard Ms. Fujiawa dismiss the class. He rose from his chair and walked right out the door, but not before tapping Tori on the head. When he was outside the room, he looked at his schedule. He saw that his next class was P.E., which made very happy. He wondered what they would be doing today. "Oh well I know one thing we won't be doing." he said to himself as he remembered that he broke the punching bag.

"Ok, but one question." he said as he tapped his sneakers on the floor. "Are you able to keep up?" he asked as he ran past her towards the popscicle sticks. He looked behind him and gave a quick glance and saw that the girl Hikari was right bhind him. He chuckled to himself. No one in the whole school could keep up with him except one boy. He knew that this race was going to be fun. He slowed down a bit so that he was even with Hikari.

Kiyoshi watched as she pulled ahead. He smiled to himself and started to run faster while taking longer strides. This is what made him a force to be reckoned with. His long legs let him cover longer distances and his speed made him cover them faster. He caught up to Hikari in no time and passed her while waving at her. He continued to run straight right out of the field. He wondered if she would follow. He ran towards the back doors of the school.

"Yeah I know. Its pretty hard to keep up, but your doing better than most people." he said as he continued running towards the doors. He was glad that someone opened the doors just in time so he wouldn't have to waste time opening it. He ran past the information desk with Hikari right next to him. People jumped out of the way of the two of them with the fear of being hit. They ran past the lockers right next the windows. Just ahead was a wall with a window and a sharp turn. If a person turned right they would have to keep doing sharp turns just to get back to the field. "I hope your good at turning." he said to her as he ran ahead and jumped through the window. He crashed through, rolled once, and ran towards the field.

Kiyoshi smiled at her comment. He looked ahead and saw that for some reason the gym teacher had put up an obstacle course right before the finsih line. "Oh my god. Why did he do this and how did he do it so fast?" he asked himself, but made it audible for Hikari to hear. The obstacle course consisted of horse jumping, swinging, and then an all out run towards the finish line.
