Meroko smiled gently. "Come now. The tea you made last time was fantastic. I bet your cooking skills are way better than mine." She said nodding. She set Pandi in her bedroom and walked back into the kitchen.

"No, I'm really not a good cook..." He said laughing as he made a plate for him and for her...He set the plates on the table and then got the tea and poured it into cups...He placed them on the table and waited for her to sit down to eat with him...

Meroko broke apart her chopsticks and took a bite of her rice. She made a face and pretended to choke on the rice. She then swallowed and ate the rest of it. "Oh my gosh! It is so terrible that I must get more!" She said giggling.

Li smiled and nodded..."Yeah that sounds about right..." He joked...He broke apart his chopsticks and began to eat too...

Meroko got up and refilled her bowl. She sat the bowl down and sat down herself before helping herself to her refilled bowl.

Li paused eating and watched her get another bowl..."So you really do like it? I'm surprised..." He laughed..."I didn't think I was a good cook..."

"Usually the people who say that those type of things are actually awesome or beautiful/handsome." Meroko said nodding. She took a couple of bites as she waited for Li's response.

Li nodded..."I guess it makes sense...But why did you add the beautiful/handsome to it? Isn't that refering to looks, not cooking...?" He asked...

"Opps I left out a part there. Well I forgot to add that people also say that they are ugly or not very good looking. But they are quiet the opposite. That is why I said beautiful/handsome." Meroko said. She sat down her bowl and chopsticks. She grabbed her tea cup and blew on it to cool it down enough to drink. She took a few sips before returning to her rice.

Meroko ate the rest of her rice. She gently sipped at her tea waiting for Li to finish his rice. She stared off into space, swiming through her thoughts.
