Sayuri just watched and listened to Adrina and was Buttercup react defensively to something from within the trees. Shifting her eyes to Kokironu she gave a scan around the edge of the tree line, keeping her pack close to her.

Adrina stood as well, but she rose slowly and gracefully. "Be ready to move." Fluttering her wings, the elven-faerie walked forward until she stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Kokironu. With her hand on the stallions coat and her eyes closed, Adrina cast out her senses. Faint sparks glowed from the forest as her magic touched the approaching forms.
Opening her eyes, she visibly relaxed. Her wings fluttered back to fold against her back. She patted Kokironu before turning back to the watching eyes of the girls. "Fear not. It is just some from a clan of mine. They will bring no harm to anyone here."
Raush had leaped to his paws, a snarl ripping from his parted jaws. He shifted slightly, his body now closer to Buttercup and Sayuri. If it came down to a battle, he'd be their last line of defense. His ears pressed flat against his skull as Adrina calmed them. "How can we trust them?" He growled to the woman, speaking in wolf tongue.
Elastia had stood up, not nearly as quickly as Buttercup and not as gracefully as Adrina. One hand gripped her sheathed sword, her body tensed ready for battle. Once the all clear was given, she relaxed slightly. Hearing Raush's snarl, the girl could pick up what it meant - if only vaguely.
Kokironu snorted in irritation. Why hadn't she told them about her comrades coming? He gave a whinny of agreement with Raush's snarl. Although he didn't speak wolf, the Guardians could always understand one another.
((Elastia can semi-understand Raush because of her Shifter abilities although they aren't unlocked yet))

Sayuri stood up slowly and walked gently toward Kokironu holding her hand out to him. She stroked his nose with a light touch with a smile on her face. "It's alright, I trust Adrina she wouldn't do anything to trouble us further."

Kokironu gave a soft nicker, nudging Sayuri's hand. He understood her, but there were still those who could try to harm them. With the three girls, they'd never received the proper training. No matter what they thought, the elven, fae, demons, and various other beings would easily overpower and kill them in a heartbeat.
"Fine," the stallion sighed. The large horse shook his head, his mane fluttering around his neck and head, before leaning his head down to graze. His muscles were still tense, but this was his best way to comply with Adrina and Sayuri.
((I'm half asleep right now and still feeling sick. Once I'm a little better, I'll post with the new elves.))

Ishrai had nearly dived bombed the elves in her haste. She screeched, now in her blending form once more. She closed her eyes and felt the wind split as her feathers cut through it like an arrow.
Buttercup held her sword defensively, crouching low. When Adrina spoke of the friends, she straightened out. However, no amount of reassurance could stop her from leaving her blade unsheathed. Buttercup glanced at Sayuri and bit back a scoff. How could she trust a stranger so easily. Though Buttercup trusted her as well, she knew better than to let her gaurd down like that.

Sayuri gazed to each of the others around her, carefully paying attention to their expressions. I should be more protective of myself, but I know they are in the same situation. She took a long time to look for an answer in Adrina, but blew off her earlier worry without a word.

Adrina could sense the tension in the others around her. She let out a sigh just as the group of elves slipped from the trees. They hesitated only a moment before walking closer - quickly. Their forms blurred with unnatural speed before stopping just in front of Adrina and the others. It was a group of three. All three were elven men, although their features were hard to see in the dark of the night - away from the fire.
"The council is impatient for your return, lady Adrina. We have come to escort your party back." One of the men spoke in a neutral voice. Still it held power and an odd accent, as if it weren't meant to speak normal Ortyunian.
Adrina nodded as if she had waited for such, even if the males couldn't see it. "We'll be ready to leave at dawn," was all she said. Turning to the girls and Guardians, she gave a slight bow. "Forgive me again for worrying you. Please sleep while my companions and I plan for the journey ahead."

Sayuri eyed them as one spoke to Adrina in neutral tones, her emotions flickered like the flames of the campfire around them. Why do we need an escort, did that demon appear again? He memory still stained with his threat of death, the breath down her neck sent shivers along her spine. "Araku." She mumbled under her breath, realizing she said it out loud she shook her head and tried to ignore the fact that she uttered the word.

Buttercup snorted. "As if I could sleep now." she muttered, sitting on the ground with her sword laying by her side. She didn't know these men, nor did she know Adrina very well. How in Goddess' name did they expect her to sleep?

The elven men had risen as Adrina spoke to the group. Their pale faces were heavily shadowed in the flickering firelight. One, with pale, icy eyes glared at Sayuri as she murmured Araku's name. He said nothing, though, since Adrina led them a little away to speak without being overheard.
Elastia sat on the ground, her legs tucked neatly under her. Her left hand still encircled the staff while her sword lay against her hip still in its scabbard. After clearing her throat she looked at the two other girls. "Hello," she said softly. Although it was awkward after the tense moment a few heartbeats ago, she figured it was best that they got to know one another. With the danger they were in, it was best to know allies well and to get to know allies.

Sayuri turned her head abruptly, anything to get the spiraling thought to be forgotten for now. "Hello, my name is Sayuri, and you are?" She gestured her hand in front of her as if waving but stopped after going once around. Her eyes took a side glance to the male who scowled at her, she could feel his icy stare. She moved her pack into her lap and unsinched the top.

Elastia looked at the girl who replied. "I'm Elastia. Nice to meet you Sayuri." She said politely. She glanced at the elves, unsure about how she felt about them. Their prescence could be good or disastrous for their small party. Her eyes flicked back to the two other Dual-Goddesses and the three Guardians.

Buttercup smiled at Elastia. "Hello. I'm Buttercup. Please don't mind me, I'm quite uncivalized compared to most." she warned with a chuckle. Glancing over to the group of elves, she crouched low and silently moved closer, trying to hear what was being said.

Elastia nodded to Buttercup, but her eyes flashed with quickly concealed emotion. What was the girl trying to do? The new elves didn't seem to be friendly toward them, just respectful of Adrina.
Adrina's back was to Buttercup, but the woman still spoke loud enough for those by the fire to hear. "Get some sleep child," her voice was calm but held command and something else hidden in her tone. She resumed talking to the men, her voice just a murmur. She wasn't worried about what Buttercup would overhear. All four of them were speaking their native "elf," in which no Ortyunian would understand a word they said.

Buttercup chuckled softly. "Didn't you hear me? I can't sleep." she said calmly, turning and walking back. She noticed the fire glinting on her sword, and realized that she had been defenseless. She was shocked she had made such a stupid move.
