Okay, I posted. Please give me input! I've got lots of ideas for the temple's intro/extro (if that is a word), but I don't want to not provide time for other characters to interact with the new environment.

Basically, we've got this temple entrance, then we'll all get to the actual temple, where we'll be split off (not by our own choice) to our individual tests. Once each of us has finished, we'll be sent back to the central room I talked about in my "past" thing, where Bryce will undergo the final test of the temple and it'll be complete. So, we're close to having free reign of our individual advancement.

Also, Ayame, what exactly do we pick up from each temple? I can't remember from the past...

Were it up to me, I wouldn't mind it if the individual tests had at least some guidance from you, Cid - at the minimum, everyone knew they had to face failed bearers from the past in the Halconia temple. I'd be interested in your take on what's coming here.

If you've got lots of ideas, also, I say toss all of 'em in that you feel would be worth implementing. Just the description so far has been great. Don't mistake Nida's impatience for my own; so long as there's posting to be had, Saoszuc's happy. heart

I'm thinking since they faced the past bearers in the last temple...perhaps in this one they should have to deal with the essence of their elements...the magic, in a sense. I think Melbane contained their self-test...or maybe it was more just an amulet adjustment test. I'm thinking that if the essence doesn't work, this one could be a further probing into the depths of each bearer's interior...more self-discovery, etc. One or the other. lol.

I'm not sure what you mean about guidance on my part...I think I'll communicate with everyone to give them a general gist of what they must accomplish...but I'm not sure what else I could do to help?

Well... as for myself, I'm looking to stay within the general motifs of the temple. If the runes become a theme, for instance, or whatever else might arise. Perhaps you have some ideas on some of the individual tests? Maybe there's some aspect of a particular bearer or guardian that you feel the Wind Temple would particularly highlight or test?

It'd be fun if it's like a puzzle temple of some sort. You know, like, getting stuck in a room and trying to figure out how to open the next door while dodging pendulums, trap doors, spikes, and falling debris. Or maybe something complicated like how Shiva's temple in FFX was like. (sorry, in a RE4 mood...darn those puzzles...)

Oh, added, a new NPC profile. Hopefully I'll get Nyra's on as well as Ryden's. 3nodding

Awesome idea! When you mentioned it, another thought struck me. You know those temples where you have to split your party apart and work together to get back together?

This is totally gonna be how the Wind Temple goes down. We're all gonna be moved into our own rooms, and have specific tasks geared to our element (like, pits I'll have to float over, walls Dae will have to use soil to get under, things Nida will have to melt with poison, etc etc.) and then at the end/in segments we'll reach closed doors or switches we have to press to guide the others along. And Bryce, being the temple's elemental bearer will have more of a sense of what is needed of each person...cause the spirits will talk to him. Anyways, we'll all eventually get back to the central room and then Bryce will take on the "guardian" of the temple to inherit his true powers. xd

YAY! Excitement.

I'm thinking the mini trials will be incorporated into it...probably like you have to help each other get through the puzzles and stuff and at the end everyone gets to their own "trial", where they recieve another orb (we got those before, eh?) and the door opens and brings them to the temple's central room.
