 Princess looked at Mar, who held his hand out to her. Slowly, her puppet moved her hand till it was grasping the boys hand. She stared at him, unblinking.

 I watched the men go, row by row and I never knew how fun it was to watch them go..
Mihashi leaned on a tree and started breathing hard,"I hate being injured."He grabbed a roll of bandages and started bandaging himself.
Their bodies disappearing like thick black smoke and I lingered there watching them float...

Just you and I ♠ After some time, Nathanial lost interest and laid himself at the tree's base, letting himself fall into a deep slumber so that he could regain his energy and put a stop to misplaced control of his powers. He did not bother to mae sure it was safe to sleep, or sleep near the young male or the puppeteer, but why would they bother him? He was nothing more than a ghost of these lands and kept his distance from everyone. ♠ Let's play a game,

The puppet boy brought Princess over to the tree where Nathanial laid and kneeled her down next to him. She just staired at him, wondering what he was doing, her blank eyes and emotionless face fixed on him.

Just you and I ♠ Nathanial slept for some time before his subconsious mind warned him of the eyes that were upon him. Forcing his eyes to open, leaving behind the black void of sleep as he looked at Princess. He stared back at her, no sounds escaping him, nor did he attempt to say a word. His dark eyes peered directly into her's. Waiting. . . ♠ Let's play a game,

Princess moved to touch his face, placing her hands over his eyes. She movement was slowly a weak looking, like she hadn't moved on her own in a long time or had never moved on her own. "Why...close.....yo...u're eyes....like...that?" her sweet but still very weak voice said. "You...looked....dead...."

Just you and I ♠ "Perhaps I am in some way." Nathanial said, unmoving beneath her touch. "Though, I close my eyes to sleep. It is required that I do so or I shall lose control of my body and powers which would be very bad, especially for me for it may result in my demise." Finally he reached and lightly placed his hands around her thin wrists and moved them from his eyes to look at her. ♠ Let's play a game,

Princess's arms hung like a doll's in his grip, and she looked at him with ehr blank eyes. What...is...sleep?she asked him. Her puppet looked down at her with worry. Be careful with her please, she has never moved this much before.

Just you and I ♠ Nathanial nodded to the puppet before he looked to Princess. "Sleep is . . . well, I can't really explain it since I've never bothered to question such a thing." He said and pursed his lips for a moment. "Perhaps in time you and I will learn what sleep really is." He was careful when he folded the girl's hands in her lap so he could release her wrists. ♠ Let's play a game,

"I have....never..closed my....eyes....and looked.....dead.." Princess said, her voice a little stronger now. Before Nathanial could pull his hand's away she weakly grabbed his in her's, her's shaking from the strain of moving so much. "Please....show me....sleep..."

Just you and I ♠ "Let your mind drift off to the darkness, let it wash over you like water. Let it pull you out into its ocean." His whispers had a sweet tone to them before he closed his own eyes, a soft hum began to come from Nathanial. It was not long before he began to sing a lullyby to Princess, hoping it would help ease her into sleep's grasp. ♠ Let's play a game,

Princess started to sway a little as he sang to her, and her puppet disappeared. She leaned forward, gently falling against Nathanial as she fell asleep. Her head rested in his chest and her hands still held his.

Just you and I ♠ Nathanial sang until he was sure the puppeteer was fast asleep. He released her hands and carefully brought her upon his lap and wrapped his arms around her protectively. Usually such behaviour would not have tainted Nathanial, but this girl puzzled him. It was as if she too were a puppet. He looked about the wood before he eased back against the tree and closed his eyes to resume his own slumber. . . ♠ Let's play a game,
