I was in Barnes and Nobles, and I was looking for something to read after Love Hina. I saw Ken Akamatsu's name and ripped the first 4 out of the rack.

I first found Negima, when I was hanging out with friends having a "manga~party" we were swapping manga stories and reading different mangas i read Ragnorok and was thoroughly disappointed that the manga was discontinued and then I ran across Negima... needless to say I was hooked by page 1. I got up to book 8 because that's all that was out when I started reading it and each month a new one was released I stopped at 12 with books but I found a site on the net that I read up to 13 and then my comp crashed I have yet to find the site crying

I found Negima because Ayaka is voiced by Junko Minagawa. No joke.
I tend to be attracted to anime that have my favourite seiyuu in it, especially if they voice major characters.
Then I watched the remake, then the first series, then the manga.
I got hooked.

somebody in love hina guild here in gaia... introduced me to negima...
but i started to like comedy sitcom animes (rather than action stereotypes) bcoz of akamatsu's love hina... he's damn genius to make negima... when i started watching it, i can't get out away from it... now i spend my hard earned money to buy negima mangas, swear to collect all books... wink

I saw Ken Akamatsu's name and ripped the first 4 out of the rack. same here... when i found out B.A.M. selling mangas... i already searching for mangas w/ akamatsu's name right away... a sure hit w/ my taste... btw, i have hard to find to get other negima volumes that i dont have, always not in stock compared to others made... gonk gonk gonk

I found out about Mahou Sensei Negima, while I was doing a sketch of Naru and Shinobu from Love Hina. My friend mistook them for Nodoka and Chisame...
She told about Negima and I looked it up on onemanga. Before I knew it, I was reading the manga every single day.

I was in Barnes and Nobles and I wanted a new manga to read so I looked at a few and saw the huge omnibus version of vol. 1,2, and 3. I also had the choice of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles omnibus or Negima omnibus. Negima looked cleaner and was rated OT so I asumed it would appeal more to me than regular T rated manga. So I read it and I got hooked. lol. that's it. sweatdrop There probably was more but I don't really remember. sweatdrop

SousukeS ...was rated OT so I asumed it would appeal more to me than regular T rated manga sweatdrop whoa same here too, i read those OT-M 1st... hehehe... 4laugh

i was at barnes and noble putting away some books (i have a part time job there) and saw Negima and decided to look at it for a second and i got hooked. after i bought all the issues out so far i went and bought some items... i got me a chamo-kun keychain...i have a ton of manga so i am going to say this....I AM AN OTAKU AND I AM PROUD OF IT!!!

I was looking at a list of anime that people liked, I saw Negima and I got addicted.
Oddly enough when I first saw Setsuna I thought "Wow she's cool."
