(I won't be on much today I don't think. Interesting attack, to be sure. Very inspired. Hat's off to you, mate.)
It was an interesting theory to be sure. Cold, in and of itself did not extinguish heat. It took substance, or the denial of air and applicable pressure, not additions to it. Absorption of heat was a total negation of energy, which was in and of itself, impossible. The reality of the end result wasn't that cut and dry. A freeze dryer didn't negate heat at all, actually. Not in its entirety. The process of freeze-drying first required substance, meaning a solid. If she truly felt like it, she could discorporate into a gaseous matter before the air had even come into contact with her; pure heated air. But this was interesting, and reforming from surrounding heat was a pain, so she figured she'd play with it. There were other flaws, but we'd get to that.
Redirection first required direction. If one could increase their heat, feasibly, as she could, then naturally one could also decrease it. For there to be energy absorbed, there would have to be energy present, ie, in motion. The moment she felt any of her energy being pulled into a secondary state, she could make a cutoff point by dispersing the heat directly into the ground, separating it from her body. In contact with the ground as a medium, she caused a delay. Since the attack was stated to take in energy from heat and flame and redirect it as an attack form, she simply denied it fuel. It was another principle of fire; deny it fuel and it will not burn. She made her body 'normal' temporarily by denying it all but the most basic heat functions for common human survival. Since the technique apparently depended on absorbing massive amounts of heat, its effect would thus be greatly diminished. Her active energy became energy at rest; potential energy, in a sense.
From the way it seemed to work, forward motion had just created a feedback loop. All it had served to do was suck the human-level heat from her body, leaving it incredibly chilled. But removing heat and removing all air were completely different things. Her body temperature was entirely under her control, meaning even if you even began to remove heat, she would feel it and change it by force of will;. There was also the lack of any mention of removing moisture; a proper freeze dryer regulated moisture as a secondary process. The attack was also not stated to be a vacuum in the purest sense, hence it wouldn't stop re-ignition once it had dispersed its effect. She understood. The attack was trying to make an interpretation on absolute zero, but bypass the principle of not violating the thermodynamic laws by putting the energy taken completely out of heat into an offensive, reformed state towards its origination point. Clever.
As the redirected energy made contact with her body, diminished as it was, all it served to do was minor energy damage. One would probably attribute it to being hit with a moderately average object, like an empty trash can. hey, that's average to her. She was cold. Her body was lacking any heat for a split second, but it didn't stop her brain functions. The heat she had violently dispersed, deep into the ground, so deep that the air on the surface wouldn't contact it, rose upward again at her command to reheat her personal form, but not to more than 100 degrees farenheit. Of course, she could have just created new heat from the energy of her body being in existence alone. That was feasible. But she preferred to return the energy whose state she had changed to its origin state. It was her turn now. So he wanted to think that it was all about just fire? Of course, that was her Taoist element, but she had other tricks too.
Engaging that attack would have obviously taken some focus. That kind of energy dislocation wasn't an easy thing. So what would she do? Her attribute was 'Strength'. And he was right there. She just shot her fist forward, right for his upper body, in an across-ways motion from right to left. As she'd sidestepped to the left as he'd come in, and the stream followed behind him as an engulfing motion, the guandao was nearest him, so her right arm was in perfect position. With heat viable again, she arched her body in a twist, using the air resistance to aid in her speed. The blow was aimed at the juncture point of his upper and mid body, as this was a wide target. The strength behind the blow was phenomenal, and shook even the air around her with tremors. She wasn't even using the whole of her power is what was frightening. She even added some humor.

[[Holy s**t....talk about analytical...Good luck with this one Sharad, but...you're gonna have to pull something out of your a** to be able to survive this. And I don't mean that literally.]]

(I'm confident he'll find a way. He knows what he's talking about, and he's clever. I'm a wordy sort and I liek to pick things apart. Always played in that style, I just have to get started. Like a motor. start revving up, then smooth out real nice, eh? But Sharad's got some skills, so I'll be interested in seeing. With his character's high level of endurance that I've observed, Huoyan's punch most likely wouldn't be near fatal at all. Not at that level. I just like to back up the result I reach against attacks on me with due process..if I can't explain it or bullshit my way through it, then stopping it any other way is just tactless. I hate doing that..pure barrier fighting/elemental comparison is boring.
Anyway, out for now. Be back in..a few hours. Playin Aion mad )

((Uber late reply... go! ))
". . .Gin...ji?"
The least of the things expected happened: with a slight blinding light, everything around her started to crack: helmet first, then the armor skin, then... all. They fell off like a curse broken. Her eyes wide still by the surprise, with small tears forming, falling limp onto his wounded body, forcing herself to try to stay up after what ever had happened did.
After such a long battle, Tenshi had returned. She looked aghast, confused, terrified and sorrowful. Something never found on her before or too commonly. She was either cheery, hyper or simply grinning. Even her armor was funny. But there she was, only with... just simply nothing. Nothing that wasn't her and the tears. She finally fell down on her knees, confused and astonished at the battlefield covered in flames. It was just like on her dreams, where hell came to earth... so.. that thing in Parallel Gaia... those actions she didn't do but.. somehow knew she had done... Kiga... she had killed him... she had pierced his helmet enough to give him a fatal wound, a final strike. The screams of terror from a woman of long black hair as the hero of the Stars fell, armor disintegrating and eyes wide in fear. The GiW's HQ completely burned and destroyed, Parallel Gaia submerse in crumble... fear, panic, screams, control. And even on this Gaia: the fear in the streets at night, the battle against her friend in armor, that whom she admired ever since she met her... she was nothing now... the battle against the Dark, Jorge's other self.... the sensation of getting lost in a never returning void... All that... she now knew, was real...
". . .Ginji. . ." she sobbed softly, holding her chest. She didn't dare to see him. Not even to speak to him but... it was necesary... "I'm...sorry.... it's... it's making me do things I can't...."
The battles from behind, from Sharad and that Chinese fighter, plus the fire, almost drowned her speech. Her hair covering her face.
". . .kill me. . . before .... before. . . I can't. . .please. . . I... "
To start the year like this, who would have tough so... and then again, who would want to? She could feel voices on her head, calling her to battle, warning to kill her from the inside. Why would she continue living if there was nothing more than pain in the future. Let her disappear fully then, rather than living an eternal nightmare.
". . . please. . . just. . . before. . ."

"Tenshi...are you finally back?" Ginji softly let go of her hands, and pulled the energy blade out of his chest. Almost instantly, the puddle of blood at his feet began flowing upwards, back into his chest, the wound already healing. "Tenshi...What's happened is in the past...But you're back..." He pulled the fallen Tenshi towards him and held her, brushing her face gently. "No...I'm not going to hurt you...You're fine now. The best thing to do is to try and make things right, not continue fighting. Let's go back to the GiB, we can build you a brand new set of armor there and wipe out or reformat your old armor."

The guandao hit me in the midsection, and sliced right through me, ending my life completely and painlessly.
AHAHA just kidding.
I had kinda expected that response. It was a good test of her power... having denied her flame, she resorted to brute force. And I had her heat signature, which I could track through the air. Positive points.
But this? This is ridiculous.
I pulled my second dagger, Kurohaya, into the air to intercept the blow. It was powerful, and I slid a few feet back in the concrete before instantly kicking off the rubble and passing her, twisting at the nick of time over the still-whistling guanbo and using the slipstream it had created to power Shirohaya in a circle towards the back of the lady's neck.
If you want to fight tough, let's fight tough. "I haven't even gotten started, hun."
Let's get physical, anyone?
I heard the sound of Tenshi's voice. Not Tenshi/???, but Tenshi, my pal. From the office.
My body spun three times. Three strikes, each happening at the same time, indistinguishable to the most precise scientific instruments.
(Kaiten Kembu: no bonus)

Lena stood by, obsorbing what has happend. Tenshi was apprently back, but for how long? Also, the man fighting the fire women looked like he could use some help. She casted a Protect on him, allowing him to take one strong attack, and come out with hardly any damage.
(yay for final fantasy references XD)

"....please... just... just..."
Such warmth. She had never been so close to him before... He was funny and stuff, always poking at new missions or running away from TIM (specially after the Balloon Incident... ), but... this warmth... it was something odd...
She knew she'd be fine, all right with the world. But, of course... that would just make things too easy, right?
The next thing she did was to detach from him forcibly, throwing him as she clenched her head while giving one of the harshest screams she could have ever given on her life. She twitched and turned, unable to actually take her head off (it seemed she was doing just that...) and toss it off to stop hearing the things on her head. All the same, denial, assimilation... assimilation... all becoming one... becoming one at all costs... Her forehead, that instead of her star had a cyan orb planted on there, shined once again, drowning her screams and turning them into horrid shrieks that invaded the silent place, making this hell one worse than one can imagine.
"STOP IT! PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!!! KYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"
Wings of darkness, shrouding around her, as her skin turned once more into that metallic foil that covered her. They sprouted painfully, as long as the tendrils could have been. Her face in horror and increasing pain, being covered once again by the helmet. She slowly started to gather energy, hovering at her place, giving one dead look on the Agent she had just held. One of pure hatred.... or so the armored version of her face did.
"I shall see you later. . . once this world follows one single command, you shall see what I am capable of..." her voice was deeper, mechanically disguised,
With nothing else, she sprouted towards the air, the light of her energy illuminating the usually dark skies, and in a last glimpse, she threw a death ray just towards the agent. Assimilating him? No... why not just kill him right off the bat? The armor was unstable as it was, and having him would only make things worse...
"...girl in the ancient robes... if you wish to seal your fate, meet me where the sun never rises..."
Slightly unsatisfied that she couldn't do much, but deeply pleased at it's last display of power in the arena, the armored demon left the place, leaving only a trail of light that got thinner as time went by...

"Tenshi!" Ginji yelled at as he flew through the air, sent by strength that obviously wasn't naturally Tenshi's. He stared as the armor regenerated, unsure of how to feel. Yes, he could have killed her, he could have ended it all...But for some reason, he chose not to. He looked up at Tenshi as she began casting her attack towards him. He had to act without thinking, and suddenly his natural vampiric talents came to mind. I have one chance to avoid that...I better make sure it counts..." He said to himself, as he slowly closed his eyes. "Wait for it....wait for it...Now! Bloody Pillar!" he cried out, and suddenly, the puddle of blood from where he had been standing shot up into the air, hardening into an almost impenetrable substance., just hard enough to absorb Tenshi's attack. "I'm not giving up on you! Not yet Tenshi!" he yelled out, unsure if she would hear him or not. One way or another though, Ginji was going to find a way to bring her back.

She emerged tentatively from the ground, wincing as light hit her eyes. Neyna staggered upward, and looked towards the sky as monster-Tenshi flew away. The fight seemed to have ended unexpectedly now that that the armored antagonist had apparently retreated. She still stayed in the background, caution warning her not to go anywhere near Tenshi's ally. Instead she just began cataloging exactly how much damage had been dealt out and how she was going to explain to her Leader why she had broken a class AA restriction of dark magic. That...was not going to be fun.

What a complication. So another neck shot? The back of the neck was a good way to go, but it was irrelevant. Her powers of fire hadn't been disabled permanently at all. But it was time to show the man what he was really up against. The man's body gave off heat, too. He had flesh. He had adrenaline. That meant that in moving, he built up heat, created friction, put off energy. Yes indeed. Not only that, he'd never even touched her weapon at all with any kind of maneuver. The weapon itself, her Guandao, simply dissipated into a burst of heat, only to reform right behind her body, indepedent of her hands. This presented an obstacle to prevent striking her body. All in the blink of an eye, or perhaps, even faster than that. Oh, it's not light speed or anything so convoluted, but it did serve its purpose as a blocking tool, with it in between the man's blows.
"I have to admit, you're pretty good, kiddo. But with her gone, I don't have a need to remain. I've tested her enemies. I need to report back to the boss."
She leapt up then, using heated air to elevate her body high; she stood upon the surface of a cloud, an waved, grinning.
"We'll meet again I think. Then I'll get serious."
The weapon burst away and flew to her hand, and she ran off on the surface of the clouds, walking on them as if they were solid ground, towards the mountains. Just like that, she was gone.
(No reason to fight with Tenshi run off. But it was fun. ;p)
