Aelfric smiled, took one of her hands in his, and gestured with his other hand forwards, inviting her to walk with him.

Aelfrics eyes flashed red for a second. "And neither shall they, ever." He said quietly, continuing to walk.

Lucia looked at him out of the corner of her eye. "Yea. It would be a shame to see it go..." Her voice trailed away.

Lucia sighed and walked closer to Aelfric, nodding. She kept her mouth closed.

Aelfric just kept on walking, staying quiet, and staying close to Lucia, looking up at the night sky, searching for the moon.

Lucia felt cold. She didn't know why. She closed her eyes, trying to ignore it, and kept on walking.

Aelfric suddenly stopped and looked at Lucia. "Lucia...what was the fasted you've ever moved before?"

Lucia shook her head and jumped on his back. "I'm good now. You go do your thing." She wrapped her legs around him, locking her feet together, then her arms around his neck.
