To say Dwaine was pleased to hear he was allowed out was an understatement. He was completely ecstatic! A beam spread over his lips as he turned back to face his Master, practically glowing with his elation. When Kyousuke sat up, he sat up too, but he took it one step further to get off the bed altogether.
The vampire couldn't wait to get out there! To have the breeze run through his hair, feel the soft grass between his toes. To run and explore... To feel apart of this world again, as opposed to just some ornament on a shelf waiting to be bought.
"Can we go out now, Master?" The raven asked, impatience and excitement in his voice as he leaned against the bed lightly, waiting to be led outside as he did not know the way to go himself (in which case he would no doubt already be dragging Kyousuke out the door). He couldn't wait!

((Absolute fail. It would be hard to be more fail if I'd tried to make it fail. *Facedesk*
But there wasn't really anything I could say... You can just have Kyousuke lead Dwaine outside in your next post.
He's very happy. He'll be even happier once he's outside.
. . . Yeah, probably. But Dwaine doesn't get mad at anyone for anything. Except for kind of that yelling at Kyousuke... But that wasn't being mad at any one person, just sort of everything.
Bigger is better. XDD ))

+++++Even if Kyousuke didn't want to go outside, how could he say no to Dwaine at that moment? It would be impossible to tell the boy no. The one thing Kyou wouldn't be able to do is something so trivial when compared to other things, or from someone else's perspective. But, really, someone else walk in here and try to tell the vampire he couldn't do something. That's like telling Peter Pan he wasn't allowed to go to Neverland, that he was doomed to grow old and grow mature in England with Wendy until he died. ... So, translated, that would be like telling Dwaine he was never allowed to go outdoors again, and that he was doomed to sleep and 'eat' in the bedroom with Kyousuke until that one day came where they both died, whether or not they were already dead before-hand.
+++++So, now that the point has been made clear that it was even theoretically impossible for the demon to object, he threw another nod Dwaine's way as he turned to place his feet on the floor in order to stand beside the overjoyed vampire. It was funny how soft the demon had become in such short a time being around Dwaine. Was he really that easy to manipulate, if only a tiny bit? Was he turning to putty in the boy's hands? Surely he wasn't that soft... yet. Maybe he was more like clay. ... Perhaps stale clay... Who was he kidding? He was completely lying or at least sugar-coating it. He could almost bet on the fact that Dwaine could make him do anything, if he were to use such a passionate, excited expression while asking or even demanding what he wanted.

+++++He turned to the door, again signalling over his shoulder for the other to follow him. He wondered what Dwaine would want to do once they were outside. Maybe just to be there, out in nature? God knows the only thing out there was nature. No little buildings or fences or light-posts, if one did not count the few candles lit and placed some specific distance apart around the decks and such, more towards the house and less outwards into the deeper parts of the acres Kyou owned. It was all just left the way it had been when the Incubus bought the manor and land so long ago.
+++++Once they were near the foyer, Kyousuke himself almost felt like running the rest of the way. No matter how long he'd been alive, giving him so much time to mature and wise-up, he still held so many of the same characteristics that a child had. He loved to tease, though usually in a different way from a child, but not all the time; he liked to run at times, he was impatient, he was stubborn - all in all he had many of the charisma points that most bad children had. But, still a child, despite being good or bad. In all the centuries of living and he still hadn't aged since he was 20, in either way. Er, 21 if one was to be technical.

+++++Hopefully Dwaine would run first, just so it would give Kyou a reason to. He was supposed to be an adult; adults don't run! Or at least they're not supposed to, unless there's an emergency or something. This was obviously no emergency. They were just going outside! Kyou never bothered about going outdoors before, but Dwaine got him excited about it too. It could be fun with Dwaine there with him. Before he was usually just alone outside, if one of the servants didn't offer. Hyung wasn't one for outdoors unless he was able to break something or use a chainsaw to saw at a tree branch, or just use hedge clippers on the bushes. Hyung was a destructive, merciless little critter, but, Hell, was he pretty damn cool to be around. Hardly ever serious about anything. He was one of those guys you'd take to a bachelor party to get drunk and turned out to be the best drunken driver you've ever seen. Another reason why he drove the limo.
+++++Kyou ended up taking the stairs two at a time, but managed to keep himself at the same pace. It was a wonder he didn't trip. It was a rather unbeneficial thing to skip most of the stairs and not get to the bottom any quicker, but he didn't want to seem anxious. He was an Incubus, not to mention an amateur Master, so he was supposed to be known for being able to keep his cool. He was supposed to have utter control, and yet he did not at that moment. Once at the bottom of the stairs and nearing the front doors, he had enough gall to look back at Dwaine with as normal, smug expression as ever. True bravery. With that, he took a moment to act as a butler, swinging the door open and stepping to the side, ushering the other through the door with his free hand as he took a small bow. "After you," he gushed. He felt tempted to say something along the lines of, 'Ladies first,' but that would be a bit too much, wouldn't it?

|| I don't even care if this post is still moderately short; I liked writing it. I felt creative and I'm just happy about everything I wrote. xD Peter Pan and running and Hyung.~ Yes, running deserves its own acknowledgement.
He better be happy. He got Kyou in the mood, too. xD
... Well... I would tell Dwaine he should get mad at you, just because Kyou is gunna make him eat me, but... then I would be telling Dwaine to be a bad person, and Kyou would frown even more upon that.
Indeed it is! [/cheers silently] ||

Dwaine was positively beaming when Kyousuke rose from the bed and moved over to him. Dwaine didn't wait a beat to follow his Master when he was motioned to. What would it be like out there? Everything was so much sharper at night; the sounds, the scents. It would be utterly delicious, he couldn't wait! The vampire found himself bouncing on his feet as he moved, having to force himself to stay in step with his Master. For once, it wasn't out of respect as his place as the slave, but rather simply because he didn't know where he was going and knowing his luck he would get lost if he tried to find the way by himself.

When Kyousuke opened the door, the vampire couldn't stop the excited squeal that escaped his throat. He moved with a gait somewhere between a skip and a jog, probably a little of both, out the door almost the instant the door was opened wide enough for him.
"Ah!"The pavement was cold under his bare feet but it wasn't until he moved off of the path and onto the grass that he realised just how abnormally cold the pavement had been. Because it wasn't grass that his feet hit when he moved off the path; it was snow. The vampire stopped instantly, only a few steps off the path, staring in wonder down at the icy white beneath his feet. A small laugh escaped him. "'S cold." He mused, his voice soft, but delighted.

There was no snow falling, but from the fact that there was a fairly thick layer of snow across the yard, Dwaine could only assume that it had fell rather recently. It seemed Kyousuke's other employees had already swept the snow off the pathways.
The vampire turned his gaze up to the swollen moon above him and took a few steps forward, breathing deeply. It smelled like wet earth. Crisp, icy, damp. Wood. He could smell the life around him. The birds in the trees, the animals in their burrows. He could hear the slightest change in the breeze when the owl a couple of hundred meters away changed direction. Instinctively, his eyes fell closed and he spread his arms, spinning slowly, slowly, his movements leaving trenches in the snow as he moved. The ice was already soaking the base of the jeans he was wearing. It was freezing, but it would take more than cold to kill him. He was made of much stronger stuff than humans. Stronger than a bear. Too long in the snow and he would slow, but he doubted it would stop him. He had nothing to fear from the harsh weather.

The breeze changed direction, bringing a different scent to him. One that was new, but already oh-so-familiar. His Master's scent. Indigo eyes opened and sought out his Master. The serene expression on his face broke, replaced instead with a bright smile. He gave a spin, his widespread arms gesturing wordlessly to their surroundings. Clearly, he was very pleased.
Where Dwaine grew up, it didn't snow very often. Once every few years, if it got cold enough. It was very inconsistent and hard to predict. It would never last for long. Maybe two or three nights, then the cold snap would be over and it would melt away, giving you just a taste before leaving you with only that memory to carry you through as you waited expectantly and disappointedly for it's return. Would it be the same here? Dwaine wasn't sure if he'd be happier if it was or it wasn't. Having it so unpredictable was exciting, but he would enjoy playing in the snow every year, he thought. Make snow men, and snow angels, and igloos and...

The grin on the slave's lips twisted a little, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Then, demonic speed on his side, he bent down and scooped up a large handful of snow. He had compacted it into a ball and hurled it at his Master faster than a human eye could follow. And with that, he turned heel and ran, the wind rushing past him snatching the laugh from his lips. Never had he gotten to have a snowball fight as a child. Before he moved in with his aunt and uncle, none of the other children would play with him, and once he did, they forbade him to go out in the snow without them. It was 'family time'. And they didn't trust him not to sleep on the frozen paths or get sick or something similar. There were a lot of things Dwaine had missed out on during his youth. Why shouldn't he enjoy it now while the opportunity was at his fingertips?

((I'm terribly sorry for the long wait, lovely. Things have been really hectic around here lately. I actually had a friend (the same one I was talking about before) living with me for a while, but I didn't want to mention anything in the other posts, because I knew if I did she'd be all 'I don't mind if you post while I'm here. I won't be offended', but she would be, and I'd feel self conscious with her watching me write anyway. But yeah, she's staying in a motel tonight and she should hopefully be into her new place tomorrow or the day after, so I could finally post~ Though I am back at school now, so posts might take a little while to come around during the week. Maybe weekends as well, depending on how much homework I've got.
And! Normal sized post~ =D
Peter Pan and running and Hyung are all da bomb. <33
He's very very very happy. And it's snowing! I've actually only been to the "snow" once before in my life, and it was artificial anyway, so I decided I couldn't pass up the chance to live vicariously through Dwaine. XD
Haha. Dwaine is too docile to get mad, even if ordered. Eating someone and getting mad at them are totally different. With eating he can just be all 'nom nom nom', but with getting mad he'd try and be all 'Rawr!' but it would just come out like 'meow...?'.))

+++++The Incubus took notice of something that he was sure could help him later: It took so little to make the vampire sad, and yet it could take just as little to make him happy, just momentarily. That, or it could take an overwhelming amount to make him truly happy. An amount of something Kyousuke just did not have. Especially to offer. He wished he did. But Incubi don't have it. The ability was scraped during the species' making.
+++++Even though the discovery could help, he didn't much take kindly to it. He was sure before-hand that he couldn't make the boy happy, nor vice verse. But, the pride-stealing, ego-killing, dignity-shredding point just seemed to be pushed further and further, making itself known countless times, as if to not let the Incubus forget. Needless to say, it was hardly something that could even remotely be forgotten. It bore itself deeply into the demon's mind. Left no chance of removal, the damned thing did.

+++++The sight of Dwaine---so calm, so at peace---was like a life lesson the Incubus tuned out in his school Guidance Counselor's lecture. Kyousuke could never feel an emotion so profoundly. Never had. Would not. Could not. Should not. If he were to even pretend to feel in such a way, it would cause harm to his race. Incubi weren't supposed to be attached. Weren't supposed to care. Hell, if another, Incubus or Succubus alike, were to find out he was housing a creature not used for his benefit, for his pleasure, then... it was indescribable, the outcome. Surely discrimination, confusion, pure corruption would spread, but eventually it would just leak further. Not a one would turn a blind eye, simply because it's really the race's one true taboo. It's not written in text, for it is silently spoken and known 'round the world for only those belonging.
+++++The species known widely as Incubi and Succubi usually appear to be charming, cunning, sly, careful. Dangerous. No one ever mentions cold, lying bastards. They've so many flaws for a race so famous. Cover-ups can only cover so much, like make-up. Like clear foundation that doesn't stick.

+++++Kyousuke was pulled from his thoughts as eye contact was made between the solitary two. It was only then that he could recall the other's satisfied squee upon the door opening, his realization of the cold, the obvious point even being said aloud afterwards that was even accompanied by a quiet laugh, and that smile... It was as if he was suddenly allowed to hear and see again after having the gifts---and he uses the term lightly---had been taken away long ago.
+++++The awakening was complete when a solid ball of snow was an inch or possibly less to the Incubus' face. This hardly gave him much time to attempt a dodge, which still proved unsuccessful when ice met his cheek anyways. He faintly heard a victorious laugh, causing garnet eyes to flash in the direction. He spotted one fledgling vampire fleeing the scene. He shook his head as he looked to the snow on the ground with a grin. Shall I chase after him? That is probably what he wants me to do. He brushed his hair behind his ear in a classic sweep before dashing off after the raven. He was torn between catching up and seizing the boy in his arms, or simply gathering up his own snow ball and throwing it and probably missing. When was the last time I played around like this? The last time I was even outdoors when snow was on the ground and still piling up? The last time someone was there with me? . . . God knows how long. The thoughts didn't strike up bad memories. Instead, it only made Kyousuke think more on how nice a change it was for it all to be happening now. It brought up a toothy grin, complete with shiny white pearls of teeth that were never really flaunted around as much as they should have been.

|| [Shut up, Google Spell Check. 'Squee' is totally a word.] Oh my god. How far did I push that at the beginning? Now Kyou has to have an even deeper mental problem with his race. Dangit. Whatever. It's saved angst for later, considering it's all kinda happy right now. I dunno what I want Kyou to do, though. xD I feel like I'd be ganging up on Dwaine if I were to actually throw a snow ball at him.
My wait was and is nothing compared to your wait. I took so long to post, and I'm actually very pissed off at myself. x .x AND MY LAME-a** COMPUTER. D8 But... yeah. Very virus-y lately. ... But I need to go on Limewire. ...[/cry] Limewire, I was told, caused all'a the viruses and stuff. I doubt it. My post is short and failure-ized.
Yes! Yes, they are.
He should be happy. I like him happy. Angsty, too, but happy is... well, happy. Happy makes other people happy, like Kyou. // You live through Dwaine vicariously, and I live through Kyou as a pimp. Yessss.
It'd come out like a confused kitten? xD OH OH OH. Is that was Kyou compared him to? ... He compared him to some adorable little critter, but I can't remember... ||

There was nothing for a few moments, then the unmistakable sound of feet crushing the snow, muffled steps chasing after him. The black blur that was Dwaine passed the barriers of trees at the edge of the forest. A few birds escaped up into the air, others simply letting out indignant squawks. He could hear and smell the wildlife scattering. But he didn't care about them. He weaved in and out of the trees, never going more than 10 feet into the actual forest. He wasn't trying to escape, and he didn't want his Master to think for even a second that he was.

The vampire's fingers grazed over the bark as he looped and arm around one of the thin, snow covered trees to pull himself back around so he could seek his Master out.
The raven waited for only a few beats for his Master to get closer, leaning against the tree in an almost (but entirely unintentionally and unconsciously) seductive manner, before he was off again, a dark blur between the trees.
To a human eye they would be near invisible, but as both creatures of the night, it didn't feel any faster than the average human.
No matter how fast he fled though, there was no doubt that Kyousuke was faster. He vaguely recalled a story from his childhood. Somewhere through the fog that was his life before turning... Something... About a hare? Or a fox, perhaps. And a tortoise (for surely it couldn't possibly have been a turtle?). Ah well. The point was that he shouldn't have stopped for that instant; now Kyousuke was right behind him!

The vampire laughed anyway, certainly enjoying the brief game. It was only brief for at that instant the vampire quickly ducked to the side before whipping his hand out to catch Kyousuke's shirt when his Master reached him. One hand curled into the material and the other reached up to loop around Kyou's neck and drag him down as Dwaine simultaneously pushed himself up onto his tip-toes until lips met lips.
The raven pushed himself flush against his Master, dropping two sweet kisses on his lips before pulling away properly. The teen was blushing, his hands resting on Kyou's chest. Then all at once Dwaine leaned in, splashed his tongue over the other's lips and then pushed his Master away lightly, speeding back off toward the house, his laugh once more stolen by the wind.

The slave wasn't really running for the game of it this time though. He slowed down once he was a good few meters away from the forest and was twirling around, his arms spread and his feet kicking up the snow. Without another thought, the vampire dropped down onto the ground. The snow protected him from the fall, and the boy was positively beaming as pushed his arms up and down and his legs apart and back. How long had it been since he'd made a snow angel? Ten years? That sounded about right...
A few moments later and the vampire stilled, panting faintly as he gazed up at the moon above. He took a moment to just enjoy the fact that he was outside. The sky was beautiful, the forest was beautiful... It was so incredible to be outside. To run, to feel the wind...
Dwaine let out a pleased squeal, before pushing himself up into a sitting pushing, eyes seeking out his Master. His smile was the brightest it had been in a long while.

((Sorry for the wait! And the lame post. And sorry for the hint of God-mode there...
Squee is most definitely a word. To just the right point. It's good. Except Dwaine is going to unintentionally make Kyou betray his whole race. x3
Haha. It's his cuteness. It's like and instant guilt trip.
It's okay. This wait just now was pretty long. And this post is made of fail and lame. But! Three kisses and a... lick. So I think it makes up for it? But I've just got so much going on at the moment. So stressful! Dx
Yeah, people always say that. But I still use it. Limewire ftw.
He is happy. He's very happy. He's "I wanna kiss Kyou and shower with Kyou and cuddle in front of a fire with Kyou!" happy. =D
Yeah, it was, but that's not what I meant. It was just Dwaine trying to be intimidating but ending up being fail. Like Simba when he's still a cub and tries to roar at the hyenas. Yup yups.))

+++++If Kyousuke were a normal Incubus, he would have ravished Dwaine the moment he got him in the car. But, Kyou was actually far from being a normal Incubus. He wasn't sure why; both his parents were full-fledged Incubi. No hybrids were found in his entire family tree, through all generations. He lived what he thought was still a full life. Although, he knew he had troubles with being what could only be called a sex demon. Hunger was a troublesome thing when the means to get full were despicable and, to most, sinful. Though, Kyousuke had never been one for God.
+++++As time progressed, and the demon's mind matured further, questions arose more frequently. None ever left until answered--and few ever were. He used to be a carefree sort of player type, but over time his views on most everything had changed. His personality, nowadays, could be painfully blunt, vague. He could be honestly direct, or he could coat everything he said with mounds of sugar--though that was rare. Those rare occasions usually came up when he was having to speak about himself. But, sometimes he didn't care how he sounded to others. Sometimes he was just tired of coating everything with butter cream icing.

+++++The Incubus really wished Dwaine hadn't looked so tempting when he'd rested against the tree. Whether it was intentional or not, it had the same effect on the demon, reminding him just how long it'd been since he'd... eaten. But he was putting his only real efforts towards keeping that hunger down, hidden somewhere in the back of his brain and not in the pit of his stomach or a little south from there.
+++++Although, it was hard to intently focus on something with a huge empty place in one's torso.
+++++The blackette was none-too gently pulled from his thoughts, though he wasn't too displeased by it once he felt the other against him, their lips pressed together. He raised a hand as if to pull the other closer, though the idea was shot down at the last second, his hand falling back to his side. Meanwhile, this did little to keep the other from pressing against him fully anyways, presenting two more quick pecks to the lips of the older. Dwaine then pulled back, and Kyousuke thought that was the end of the session, though he was quickly contradicted as the other moved back up, seeming to simply lick the Incubus' lips. Afterwards, the vampire sped off, laughing into the crisp night air. Upon thinking back on what had actually just happened, a grin flashed along the demon's facial features. It was almost like he just comprehended what had just happened, and in a way, it was exactly that.

+++++Kyousuke watched the younger with gentle eyes, observing how he reacted to the snow, outdoors, everything. He almost found it ironic that the other was making a snow angel. The vampire reminded him of an angel more than anything, way before a fledgling vampire. His personality didn't suit something like that. ... Wings and a halo fit him way before fangs did. Although, he was quite adorable with those teeth of his, no matter how dangerous they actually were.
+++++It was amazing how calm the other could make him, simply by being happy himself. Especially the kind of happy that made him want to kiss the Incubus, be with the Incubus. Said Incubus then stuffed his hands into his pockets, briefly stealing a glimpse at the moon and stars before looking back to the raven, taking a few steps in his general direction. He stopped a few meters from him, not wanting to interrupt his play. However, this didn't stop the other from doing the exact opposite on his own again, sitting up and somehow knowing exactly where to look to find the new-found amateur Master. The smile he was granted almost took him aback. He quickly settled himself, his eyes softening. It was an odd thing, wasn't it? To not be used to a smile. God, it practically sounded wrong. Or, maybe it was just the rarity of it coming from the other, especially when directed at Kyousuke? ... That sounded even worse.

+++++The demon silently tilted his head in question, almost wondering what the other was up to. He really was a mischievous little thing when he wanted to be. At least, that was how Kyousuke saw it. Or, on second thought, maybe provocative was the word he needed. Yeah, it fit pretty well. It wasn't intentional, though. Hadn't been a single time, but it still happened. Dwaine just had to be a pretty little thing, didn't he?
+++++The demon suddenly gave a smirk at the thought, showing a sliver of pearly white teeth. He walked closer to the other, kneeling down to Dwaine's current "height." Truth be told, Kyousuke himself was happy. "I take it you have not encountered snow very often?" He inquired, though very much knowing the answer. He merely thought it a nice "small-talk" starter. Even though, despite that, he actually wanted to hear the answer. It would probably lead to talking about Dwaine more, right? May that be for the better or for worse. Though, Kyousuke was metaphorically crossing his fingers for the better side, not wanting to ruin such a time. Although, he had a feeling that he would do just that.

|| HOW LAME IS THIS POST? Like, really? D8 God. But I was in a typing mood, and I was very disgruntled at my not posting and ughhhhh. Dx
... I have a feeling Kyousuke killed the mood by talking. >> I could not think of a thing to say, though, and I did not want him going speechless on me. D8
Ohh, betrayal, schmetrayal. [Wtf? ... Idk. D; ] So long as Kyou is happy, I don't think he really cares about his race. But, right now, he is not truly happy, so he totally cares. xDD
I know! But guilt trips aren't fun, especially when pointed in my direction.
This wait was uberly long, and I've nothing to make up for it, really. My post is made of pure fail-osity. Dx
Limewire kicks assssssss. <3
I laughed when I first read that. Really hard, actually. It made me so happy, though! I REALLY hope he stays like that, but I dunno.
Simba is so cute, though. :3 ... And now I want to watch The Lion King. I do believe I have every movie... ||

Dwaine was a very curious creature. He almost always over-thought everything, and was hesitant to act. But at the same time, it was mostly instincts that ruled him. At least, since his turning; he had started thinking less and acting more. Probably because vampires were a lot less civil, and a lot more animal. Right now, Dwaine was happy with a dash of peckish, so thinking things through felt like it was going to take far too much effort, so he instead chose the much easier option of just doing. Hence was why when Kyousuke came to him, he moved so he was kneeling in front of the other, his knees barely brushing the others.

He knew exactly what he had done, and was doing. But he couldn't explain why he was doing them. If he'd known what an Incubus was he probably would have blamed the aura that Kyousuke was giving off. But then again, maybe he wouldn't. He wasn't even sure if he could blame his instincts this time around. Or at least, not in the way expected. Kyousuke, the Master, had kissed him. And even though he had reacted rather horribly, it wasn't to the actual kiss that he had reacted at all. The kiss was good. Very good. So now that he was feeling so happy, the only way he could think to show his thanks and appreciation was to make up for the kiss that he'd ruined by giving Kyousuke more. As many as Kyousuke thought was needed to make up for that one original kiss. Probably not the wisest decision to make when the one he would be kissing is an Incubus, but really, that was irrelevant. Kyousuke was his Master, and had been so kind to him after he had been so disobedient. So Dwaine had to make it up to him, no matter what.

The vampire shook his head gently at the question. "Only a few times. It rarely snowed where I used to live, and never stayed long when it did," He explained, "Even if it did, I wasn't allowed out unless it was supervised. They thought I'd slip on the pathways or something," He gave a slight shake of his head, "It's much nicer here. No pathways to slip on." The boy teased, smiling up at the other. He really did like it here. The scenery was beautiful, the house was beautiful, Kyousuke was... Addictive. And delicious. And satisfying. And tempting. And... The vampires lids dropped a little, a small, happy smile on his lips. Mmm. Kyousuke smelled as good as he tasted. Dwaine had never considered himself to be an over-eater, but for a creature with such a demonic aura, Kyou sure tasted divine.

"Does it snow here often, Master?" The boy asked curiously as he straightened up a little. He asked it as much to get his mind off the sound of Kyou's heart beating that delicious liquid about, as out of his true curiosity.
One hand was resting on his lap, and the other slid off to delve into the ice they were sitting in. So cold, but it didn't even melt against his skin as it would had he still been human. The vampire's indigo eyes slid down to follow. His smile softened, but did not disappear, as he traced patterns in the white. Nothing in particular. Swirls and circles mostly. He did try a star, but the lines kind of mushed together where they crossed over to made the pentagon in the centre, so he gave up on that one, replacing it with a crescent moon. That temporary pang of hunger had passed, leaving him once more feeling incredibly content, even if a little chilly. A small shiver made it's way down his back then, as if only becoming aware of that fact.

((New post format~ <33
Um, not very? I liked it~
Nah, not really. See how much Dwaine said in response~? : D
My own is still short, however.
Haha. Dwaine is going to have to change that~ I wonder how long it will be until Dwaine finds out he's an Incubus~ (And you know... What an Incubus is. XD )
Guilt trips are plenty fun. :]
So, um, yeah... 26 Days later? /Failfailfail. Everything is so on the rocks at the moment. D: But writing this made me feel better, even if it is fail~
It does. <33
Lolol! I'm glad~ You can't really tell in this post, but he most certainly still is~ If Kyou were in a more comfortable position, he'd totally go snuggle up to him.
Simba is adorable~ Mmm~ I love Lion King. I feel like watching the second one, actually... Hmm. I think I might~ Praise the Lord for Youtube!))

+++++The demon seemed to like Dwaine's past family--or past "guardians," whatever he had--less and less the more he was told about them, may the things he was told intentional or not. The people Dwaine stayed with didn't trust him enough to not fall outside? He was a child; he was going to fall either way! It was the point of learning from experience. How many other things had he been deprived of at such a young age? Because of his mental sort of rant, he simply gave a nod at the 'joke' that was spoken, though the smile mattered more to the Incubus, whether he was paying his full attention to it or not. If he didn't focus more when he was actually with Dwaine, then nothing would be fixed. His thought process was working too much, but it had always been that way to begin with.
+++++Despite all of these things, though, Luke seemed to win the overall prize of Kyousuke's hatred, keeping the trophy somewhere in a shiny glass cabinet in his house. The things he'd done to the boy pissed the Incubus off in more ways than he could really comprehend. How could anyone of any race and of any personality hurt someone like Dwaine? But it seemed that the vampire sort of attracted such abuse, and it frustrated the demon to know that the statement was nearly completely true. Even he had hurt Dwaine, and he'd only been with him a day or so. He was the only one who could really be blamed for the earlier fight, and he was ... mostly aware of the fact.

+++++Kyousuke had to force his mind to leave the subject for the time being and concentrate on the creature before him. He didn't see why it was so difficult a task--how could he not be constantly thinking of Dwaine's aura or his body or any of his being? Why the hell was Kyousuke thinking so much about circumstances and their plights and just Dwaine's plights over all? It shouldn't matter so much to a demon of his stature! He shouldn't care, but he did, and he couldn't find out why the hell he cared an ounce. Was it because the fledgling was so cute? That would make sense, because he's adorable. But since when had Kyou fallen for the cute ones? Then again, since when had Kyou fallen, period?
+++++The blackette was thinking too much again. Not good for his mood. This was one of the few times he could be happy; why was he still ruining it with thoughts? For being as 'wise' as he thought he was, the demon sure was rather stupid!

+++++Again, he had to tear his mind away. But this time, he finally focused on Dwaine enough to not get carried away in thoughts so soon, though it was probably just a matter of time, as it usually worked that way. He watched Dwaine's hand fall into the snow before speaking. He himself had never been much of a fan of snow, though he was sure it was more of the immense cold itself. Though, not that he could feel much of it, mind you.
+++++He gave a small nod to the other's question, "When nature has a mind to allow it. It rains quite a bit, and as of lately it has been rather cold; so, for the time being, yes." He gave a small grin, despite his being slightly uncomfortable. He vaguely thought he saw the other shiver, though he couldn't be sure. Should they go inside already? Did they already need thawing out? He was hesitant on making a move to go back inside. Dwaine seemed so thrilled to be outside, and Kyousuke didn't feel right taking that joy from him until it was deemed alright. But there was really no way to ask it without implying that he himself wanted to go in, so... his actions would be futile, he decided.
+++++So, with that, he fell back into the snow, propping himself up on his hands and leaning his head back, again looking up at the ever darker sky. Would these two ever manage to work in unison--to strive for happiness together, or were they doomed ever since they walked out of the Emporium?

00C: My new layout isn't quite as fail as my old one.~ Your's inspired me to fix mah extremely fail one. 8DD I was schooled by my friend on how to do pictures and such and yaaaay. c:
Which leads me tooooooo: Omg, I love your post layout! D8
Well, yes... Dwaine did speak quite a lot, which made me quite happeh.
Mine is still fail and... well, delayed. But I'm happyyy~!
Ohh, I can't wait for him to find out all of that good stuffes. + u+ I can only hope and imagine it's going to be fantastical. <3
I fail at making guilt trips, so I'm always on the receiving end, and thus; I dislike them. D;
Iunno how many days it's been for me this time... But I'm not going to let myself fall into month-late posts anymore! n> // Agh, I'm sorry. D8 I'm not sure how rocky my own life is at the moment. All I know is that I want summer already. >:C
. . . CRAP. Kyousuke, get in a more comfortable position! Dangit. He could have been getting all loved on, but no, he had to THINK for, like, 10 minutes.
Youtube.~ I don't like watching movies on Youtube. It annoys me to keep finding the next part, and God forbid the video is deleted or some crap! Dx

Dwaine was still drawing in the snow when Kyousuke replied. He'd been having much better luck than his Master at forcing his mind not to dwell in unpleasant places; he was focused entirely on the random scribbles in the snow - how to fix what he was drawing, what to draw next, remembering to not draw more than the one heart he already had because looking at it kind of made him hungry... These were the simple things on the very complex boy's mind as he listened for his Master's voice.

The vampire turned back at said voice, offering his Master a smile. Rain = Little sun. And that was very good indeed. Though Dwaine had already proved that sunlight wasn't as horrible as so oft described, at least, not in small doses. The stories did have one thing right; sunlight can kill a vampire. A few minutes in sunlight was nothing, a few hours, that kinda stings, a whole day and you're starting to get the same sunburn as humans. So really... It was just like humans. The only difference was that over exposure to direct sunlight would kill a vampire. Not like they would suddenly melt or set alight or anything; it was a pure disease. Kind of like how over exposure can give humans sun cancer, only much worse, and much faster.

First off, the pain (Dwaine has heard) is immense. Obviously this is because the skin is so horribly burned, even if it only looks a little pink, but the pain gets worse as the disease progresses; the photons start corrupting the insides. Just like a cancer, the vampire's organs will blacken and die, one at a time; remembering of course that the skin is the body's largest organ and thus is also affected at this stage, though at a much slower rate.
A vampire can survive almost everything, but they can't survive if their body is too badly impaired. And while chopping them up and pureeing each piece in a blender is a sure-fire way, so is the slow wasting that a vampire infected by sunlight will suffer. In the end, the body is starting to decompose before they've even died. But such are the joys of necromancing diseases, yes? And all this in under a fortnight. Not the most pleasant experience, and the reason most vampires try to avoid sunlight.

But Dwaine didn't want to think about the effects sunlight has to ones health; he wanted to think about what was happening right now. He was outside, at night, in snow. He should be ecstatic! And indeed, the vampire was very happy. But not as happy as he had been when he'd first came out. Mainly for the fact that he was in snow. While he wasn't about to get frostbite, that didn't make it any much less cold! Not after spending some time running around in it barefoot at least.
That thought in mind, the vampire promptly wriggled his way a little forward until he was straddling his Master's lap. His hands slid around his Master's neck. Fingers laced together, his looped arms hung loosely atop the Incubus' shoulders, giving Dwaine plenty of room to nuzzle his face into his Master's neck. He pressed himself a little closer, so their chests were almost completely flushed. Ah! Much warmer!

And he simply stayed there, huddled and silent, for a few minutes as he drunk in the sounds and scents around him (not only Kyousuke's for a change! Funny that that was easier to do so the closer he was to the other.). Finally though, he decided he'd had enough cold for one night, even if Kyousuke provided heat and the outside was so wonderfully wonderful. But...
"Master?" He asked softly, pulling away just enough that he would be audible, his head still resting on his Master's shoulder, "If we go inside now..." He was a little hesitant in asking; he didn't want to seem ungrateful, or offend Kyousuke, "Will... Will I be allowed out again?" He voice was very soft as he asked this, a hint of worry evident. Both of the prospect of not being allowed out again, or of upsetting his Master. He made no motion to move though, wanting to see how his Master reacted before decided the proper course of action.

((I am the worst roleplay partner ever. Seriously, this lateness is just shameful. I am so sorry lovely! This is the first day I've had to myself all holidays. Stupid busy social life.
I love the new layout! You have to school me in how to do picture like that now! XD I've been relying on Photobucket edit to do anything and everything to my pictures. Which seriously limits possibilities. >:
Thank youuuu!
Not as fail and delayed as mine, but ah well. Just so long as you don't give up on me!
Oooh. I most certainly hope it is. <33 It should be, unless my brain dies at the time. x3
Fair 'nuff. And me too. Especially with my mother.
You should post right now! With any luck, "now" will be the... Third of July I think it is for you? And I'll be able to get another post in today! <33
Me too! I've been thinking about them a fair bit this last week too. I'm just a fail with writer's block when it comes to Die. But I'll figure something out! With any luck I'll reply to them either today or tomorrow. Got some others to catch up on today and tomorrow, but you are the first post I've made all holidays because you deserve a post the mostest. <33
Ahaha! Yeah, Dwaine decided he'd just make the best of it. Might be a little better for Kyou though, 'cause now instead of just snuggling he got straddling+snuggling. Except now Dwaine's all worried like that Kyou is going to get mad at him for asking. Or offended that he asked, which depending on the severity of the reaction could be just as bad. >:
Iknowright! I feel the same way. I generally try and find a hosting site if I can, but sometimes Youtube is the easiest. If you're desperate, then you're desperate.))

+++++Kyou had to say, the sky always looked better at night--at least, in his opinion. He knew people who loved the day time and hated when the darkness fell in the late evenings. At one point in his life, when he was "dating" this one high-class, witty, outgoing woman, Yune had compared them as day and night, sun and moon, whatever. The woman--what was her name?--of course, being the sun, while Kyousuke was the moon. They split soon after that, actually. ...She was too quirky for the demon. And besides, from the time he had popped out of his mother's belly [yes, Incubi are born just as humans are, though the gestation period is much shorter], he had never been much of a fan of the sun's rays catching him in the eye all the time, ...or becoming tan..., or on rare occasions getting sun burnt..., or stepping on hot concrete when he was lacking shoes... many things! The sun, he had found so long ago, was only good from time to time, excluding the always beneficial... benefit of the light in which to see and thaw things.

+++++Oh, how hypocritical was he being? He was still thinking and ranting so much, too... He really, really had to stop that. But with the lounging back and observing the sky and just the calm that suddenly fell over them, that was really all he could do, aside from many relationally harming sexual motives that really only be blamed on his hunger that just seemed to be growing more and more demanding by the minute, and even seconds when he was in such close range to the being who such hunger currently yearned for the most.
+++++The reason an Incubus never stayed with one partner for long was because they loved to experiment. Trying different kinds of things with different kinds of people filled different areas in that ring of hunger in them. Just like any human, doing the same things with the same person in bed gets really old really fast, and Incubi are much the same, though a whole lot more impatient, so one-night-stands are usually their forte. Meaning in which, they usually yearned after new people with new auras to stake after. Kyousuke was in that experimenting sort of mood, and he obviously hasn't slept with Dwaine before...

+++++Damn. He's not allowed to do that yet. He's not close enough! There's no way he would ever resort to rape, either, even if he was starving. Sure, Incubi were normally aggressive sex demons, but they had eloquence and morals to them, as well! Something so barbaric would worsen their reputation normally referred to as insatiable lovers. Said reputation put some familiar ground between he and Dwaine, as well. Folklore usually described vampires as insatiable feeders, but that was just another word for "lovers" when it came to Incubi. So, it made perfect sense. Now he and Dwaine had some form of bond, though... Kyousuke didn't think the little vampire knew just what the demon was, because if he did, wouldn't he have tried to get away by now, slave or not?

+++++A familiar warmth hit his chest, as well as a bit of his thighs. Kyousuke looked down from the strikingly beautiful night sky to the just as--or even more so--strikingly beautiful vampire that now huddled in his lap. For a very short moment the Incubus' eyes dilated at such close range with the younger male. The raven's breath hit his neck, and again his eyes pulsed slightly. He wondered if this was what Dwaine had felt like moments before he had bitten the Incubus in the car.
+++++"Master?" All Kyou could do to keep himself from completely ravishing all that Dwaine had to offer right at that moment was dig all ten fingers so far into the snow that he pushed at least two inches into the frozen earth beneath it. He managed to look surprisingly calm as the ever cuter slave moved to let his voice become even more audible. Although the demon tensed even more at this, he figured it would help him focus more on the boy's voice instead of his body that just so happened to be pressed so perfectly against said slave owner's bigger frame.
+++++That cute way of stuttering Dwaine had seemed to come back, though probably not as worse as some past cases Kyousuke had witnessed. Pity almost fell into the demon's mind, but he quickly shoved that emotion away. Surely Dwaine would not enjoy knowing that his owner pitied him. Kyousuke should just punch him while he's at it, huh? Anyhow, with or without the pain of near death by starving, the Incubus gave something akin to a warm smile. "Of course; whenever you like."

+++++That should have hit the older male as odd, and it did after he finished speaking. What had they taught the fledgling back at the Emporium for him to think he would never be allowed outdoors? This probably made Kyousuke out to be more than hypocritical and moronic, but really! Most slave owners must be completely terrible for Dwaine to know from either experience or from rumour that many of the normal activities a person has would be struck from them as--...
+++++Maybe it would be best if Kyousuke--at some point--researched slave and slave owner relationships whenever he had spare time. Why? Because the question he nearly just finished was entirely retarded in every way it could possibly be. They were slaves; of course all daily activities would be struck from them! Slaves weren't looked upon as people; therefore, no normal life for them!

+++++With that point being made, the blackette found himself hoping that he wouldn't abuse Dwaine in such ways in the future. He wanted Dwaine to like him, and treating him like he's a toy is definitely not the way to go about it. ... Right?

+++++The over-questioning sex demon rid his head of such naive thoughts, bringing his attention back to Dwaine and, unfortunately, his yearning for him as well. Blinking red eyes at him, he gave a small tilt of his head. "I take it that means you are ready to go inside?" he asked, hoping that that was indeed what the raven wanted, just so it didn't sound like Kyousuke wanted to strip him of the luxury of the outdoors so soon. Seeing the young vampire so happy and so cute was so marvelous; he didn't want to take that away from either of them! It would be such a waste of good aura. ;(

00C: FFFFFFF. I swear, if I had enough muscle and the balls, I'd punch myself in the face. My partnering skillz have died recently, RP-wise. >n> BUTBUT. This post just got me back into the mood so well. xD So! I'mma be better from now on, dammit. And if not, then spam my messaging box to get me to buckle up and fluckin' post. 8D
Ahaaaa~ I go to this place called Squidoo, if I'm right. It's fantastic. <3 Buuuut, I still use Photobucket for smaller things, like the color-splashing on Kyou's little moon pics. c;
I shall never give up! x3 I'm too determined and in love with this RP, dude.
I'll post for Airi uber soon, too. Probably later today. c: And right now it is 5:56 A.M., so by evening I'll have it posted, or at LEAST working on it by then. >w<
:0 I deserve a post the mostest? Awwww, thank you. >U< You's do too, and that's why I am determined to work better and more consistantly for you! >D
Straddling+snuggling=happy but very limited and stressed Kyou. > >;; I'm afraid Dwaine may take Kyou's tense-age and such the wrong way. That is, if he really notices at all. WHICH. I am hoping he does not, because happy Dwaine is frakin' amazing (and unintentionally sexy). =w=
Exactly that, though desperation usually leads me to many'a dead-ends. emo

Dwaine had one arm looped loosely around the demon's neck, the other was bent at the elbow, hand resting just above his Master's heart so that his fingers curled just slightly over his shoulder, but his palm was still pressed against the other's skin, feeling his heartbeat. And feeling him tense. Was he doing something wrong? His Master didn't seem displeased, but he didn't seem exceptionally pleased either. Immediately at that though, he pulled himself away. Not completely of course; he was still sitting on his Master's lap, and his arms were still in their aforementioned positions, but their chests were no longer flushed and his eyes were cast downward.
He had been selfish. He had crawled into the other's lap for warmth. That was not a slave's prerogative. That was wrong. Though Kyousuke wasn't getting upset with him for it, he might as well have been. Without a sign of approval, Dwaine had no choice but to treat everything else as a sign of disapproval, just to be on the safe side.

When Kyousuke spoke, however; Dwaine chanced a brief peek up at him. As brief though it was, it was enough to see the smile on his Master's lips and he settled once more against the larger male's form. Whenever he liked... What a concept.
It was amusing really, that Kyousuke was thinking it so odd that Dwaine would have to ask such a question, and Dwaine was thinking it odd that he should receive such an answer.
He wasn't pondering over this exceptionally deeply, but deeply enough that his only response to the words had been to huddle back up to his Master until the other spoke again and he recalled why he had asked the question to begin with.
"Yes please, Master." He replied quietly with a small nod. The vampire didn't move for a few moments, soaking in a little extra heat for the road, so to speak, before he finally detached himself from the other and rose.

He stood quietly beside Kyousuke until he rose, following him obligingly inside.
The fledgling shivered from the change of temperature when they returned inside, and his milky flesh was stained faintly pink where it had been exposed to the chilly winds, darker where contact had been made directly with the snow. His clothes were damp, too, from sitting in the snow. There was a smile on his lips though. He was allowed inside and out? Did 'whenever he liked' go both ways? The thought that he would get to leave the manor often was an exhilarating thought indeed. Prior to that, it was a rare occasion indeed that he would get to venture outdoors.

Indigo eyes fell, but his smile did not. Kyousuke's pants were damp where he had been sitting in the snow, just like Dwaine's. "You're wet," He stated simply, "Me too." His bright eyes flickered back to his Master's face, blissfully unaware of the implications of his words. The vampire ran his numb hands up and down his thighs over the only dry piece of denim hugging his legs, trying to use the friction to warm feeling back into them. "I forgot how cold snow is." He murmured sheepishly, though the words were accompanied by a demure laugh, proving that he wasn't bothered by them in the slightest. But his eyes ducked away from his Master, quickly regretting opening his mouth. Dwaine might have been horribly oblivious to things in which Kyousuke was quite experienced, but there were things in which Dwaine was experienced and Kyousuke was not, and the nature of slave-master relationships was one of them. It was no secret to Dwaine that words such as these would cause discomfort to his Master. He had realised the expressions his Master donned when he did; they just slipped out of his mouth so naturally. Which was surprising considering where the two had started, and how quickly things had moved from there. There was just something about Kyousuke that made Dwaine feel... Well, in normal terms it would probably be something good, but for a slave it was more akin to reckless.

Asking to go outside, saying things he knew would cause his Master discomfort... Dwaine was not being a very good slave at the moment, and the thought made his stomach drop. Quickly fixing a brighter, even if less genuine, smile on his lips, the slave turned back to the being before him. He raised his hands and quickly unbuttoned the first button of his Master's shirt, his eyes focusing rather intently on the buttons he was fiddling with.
"Your... Your sleeves are wet, Master, let me... You might catch a cold..." The fledgling explained softly, "I'll... put a wash on. If you, um, show me where the laundry is." The vampire flushed a little at that last statement. He didn't even know his way around yet! All he knew was the bedroom, the hallway and a bit of the grounds. Hopeless! Simply hopeless!

**EDIT. Ended up leaning a little more toward fresh clothes and a fire there, but it could still easily lead to a bath, depending on how Kyou decides to respond. C:

((Me too. To both punching myself in the face and to trying to be better from now on. I can't believe how fast time flies. You get writer's block for a week or two and before you know it it's November! I had no idea so much time had passed! I'm so sorry! But in my defence, I did reply with Diego which you haven't replied too. *Shot*
That sounds adorable! * U*
I shall also never give up, even if we only post twice a year! (But we will never ever let yourselves get that bad, right?)
LIES!
Yush you do. Though you also ask for them the least, so I always procrastinate with them. >.<" But it makes me loves them more. I hate been pestered for a post, but you've earned pestering rights, mmkay? So you go ahead and hassle me for posts! Ahaha.
This isn't a very good post. But I'm sure they will pick up when they're back inside. Poor little Dwaine, trying to figure out what's good and what's bad. It's funny that Dwaine would really be a lot happier if Kyou treated him like a pet, but Kyou really doesn't want to. He does already seem to be conditioning Dwaine to be a little more decisive. Give a slave a little bit of power and it can fly outta hand really quickly. Hehe.
He did notice the tense-age, but I'm too tired and he's too content for either of us too be overly fussed on it. He calmed down when he saw Kyou smile.
I thinks that Kyou should take Dwaine upstairs and give him a bath. x3 Or give him a change of clothes then sneak a peak then go snuggle in front of a fire. <33
So true. >: ))
