Spiritcall paced Heatherkit on the ground.
"It doesn't matter to me,' she mewed and turned away. She went right past rainpaw and into her den. I'm sorry heatherkit. i'm so sorry.

Rubytail walked into the camp carrying two fish. He saw the group of cats.
"What happened?" he asked and then saw Heatherkit."Who is this cutie?"

Owlscreech licked the top of the kit's head and then turned her attention to her clan's deuty. "Spiritcall found Heatherkit, thats what she named her, at the edge of our territory and took her here. I guess im going to take care of her for the time being" she mewed happily.
Rainpaw watched Spiritcall go curiously and then sighed. "Are you going to be alright with her?" he asked owlscreech.
"Of course i am!" she snapped.
"Ok chill i was just wondering" he mewed calmly to the bossy she-cat. He walked over to the fresh-kill pile and fetched a water vole and one of the fish Rubytail caught. He padded to his and spiritcall's den. "hey you hungrey?" he asked as he dropped the fish behiind her because she was turned around. "i brought you a fish" he mewed quietly.
Owlscreech started to swallow the borage sPIRITCALL HAD LEFT FOR HER (OOPS CAPLOCKS)

Heatherkit began to cry out. She was cold and hungry.
Spiritcall nodded and took the fish to her nest and laid don.

Owlscreech imediently turned to Heatherkit. "oh are you hungrey? We'll fix that" she said warmly as she picked up Heatherkit by her scruff and padded into the nursery. She set her down gently and began to rasp her tongue over her cold feeling fur. "Aw boor baby, we shouldnt have chatted so much, by the way i am owlscreech, im going to take care of you" se whispered warmly. She didnt know if the kit could understand her yet but she hoped she did.
Rainpaw settled himself in his nest and began to slowly chew his mouse. he felt tense for some reason, maybe because Spiritcall was...

Spiritcall chewed the fish. It tasted bland in her mouth. She heard Heatherkit cry and Owlscreech comfort her. That should be me.
Heatherkit became quiet adn began to suckle. She was so hungry. The soft pelt warmed her. She couldn't hear or see anything at the moment but could smell that a cat was next to her, keeping her warm.

"Are you alright Spiritcall?" he asked her. He had the ability to sense if cats were depressed, then again it was obvisous too. He waited for her to scold him like she did when he was to pushy.
owlscreech smiled. "So this is what it will be like... so wonderful" she thought armly as she watched heatherkit take her share of milk. "Wow the borage worked fast" she observed.

Heatherkit finished and curled up next to Owlscreech. Her breathing became steady as she drifted into sleep.
"It's nothing Rainpaw. Check over the herbs and see if we need any," Spiritcall mewed but didn't look at her apprentice.

"wow something is wrong" he thought but didnt say anymore. he walked to the back of the den and looked over the supplies. It seemed they were a little low on horsetail. "We need some horsetail, ill take a cat with me and we'll go get some" he meowed. They should get some before leafbare kills it all. He padded out of the den and looked around for a free cat.
Seeing that Heatherkit had fallen alseep, Owlscreech decided to as well. She wrapped her tail lightly around Heatherkit's small body and layed her head down and fell asleep.

Heatherkit stirred from her sleep. She lifted her head and gave a soft mew.

Owlcreech being a light sleeper, felt Heatherkit stir and woke up. She yawned and looked down at her. "hi sleepy" she whispered.
"O-Okay" he squeaked as he followed her out. They padded out of camp and threw the marshlans. Trees were everywhere! Mostly pine and decidous trees.
