Legede inclined his head in a bow as well, before starting away. Oddly enough, he too sought the comfort of the forest, not knowing that Legolas was already among the trees. "Nin ruth u-pul mabao garo nin." the captain whispered as he gently touched the bark of a nearby tree, unaware that Legolas was just aobve him in it's boughs. ~*[My anger cannot take hold of me.]*~ "Gerin an meth sen mornedhel cuil, nu he egor he ayhadon egor he herdir maba i cuil o i mellyn ai im si meleth." ~*[I have to end this dark elf's life, before she or her followers or her master take the lives of the friends who I now love.]*~ Just then, he heard a rustling above him and without any further warning, Legolas dropped to the ground nearby. "A man mellyn caro le u-meleth?" the prince asked, one eyebrow raised questioningly. ~*[And what friends do you not love?]*~ Legede's eyes narrowed, "You should not have been eavesdropping." "And you should not have spoken aloud." he answered, his own ire evident in the archer's blus gaze. "Speak, Legede... and tell me what caused that." "Caused what?" the other asked. Legolas nodded to the captain's chest, "That scar... and your anger." "Is that a command?" "It is a question, from a friend who wishes to help you."
~~~
"I wonder if it ever rains here." Haldir mused.
~~~
Rumil laughed, "Well, I am glad you are comfortable, Sundin."
~~~
"Why retake something that has burned to the ground?" Elrohir asked, his cheeriness leaving suddenly. Elladan shook his head, "Not everything was in flames. They probably died down after we left. Knowing Melkor, she will want us to return and try to piece together the rubble."
Alandis went rumaging through her bag again, this time fishing out an empty cantine. She took out the cap and then leaned in close to the spring. Dipping the leather pouch inside, she tilted it and began to fill it with the spring water. If this was magical, could she take the water and later on use it as an ointment for others? The Healer would have to find out, and prayed that the spring itself wasn't what was just magical and not the water. Her fingers were in the water, and she did her best to not touch it all the way, still cautious. Watching bubbles pop out of the opening, she didn't realize that someone else was watching until he spoke up. "What are you doing?" came Talli's voice, the rogue straightening slightly before he slumped back against the edge, body still aching. She glanced at him, before pulling the bottle out and recapping it. "Planning ahead...Not many places have magical springs." "Aye, they don't."
Caldor sighed, "Perhaps Xarik'n is busy with other matters." he said, motioning to the main complex, "Come. Let us see if your horse ended up in this town's stable, hm?"
Lenora stood ..spining slowly to take in her new surroundings. One moment she was in her room..sleeping...the next she was here...in a forest it seemed. Still in her nightgown..she ran and hid as she heard voices near. Cursing the fact that her sword was no where to be seen..she whispered to the shadows to hide her.
Elandere walked past then, not noticing Lenora due to the shadows. He was speaking with King Thranduil, and the two talked of the recent fall of Eden Cuil.
~~~
Rumil grimaced, but that only made Orophin laugh. "Do not fret, muindor. I am sure that you will lovely positively lovely in braids." the unaffected brother said.
~~~
Haldir shrugged slightly, "Or it could be attributed to this place's healing waters."
"I have only been here once before, and it was not for very long." Caldor admitted, "Though, it appears all of the dwellings are within the trees. However, I am sure there are stables somewhere below." he said, pointing just down the hill.
~~~
Rumil tried not to laugh, instead smirking at his brother. Orophin just shrugged, "Oh well."
~~~
"Sleepy?" Haldir asked.
Lenora saw Elandere walk past...and realized that some of the voices she heard were familar. She stepped out of the shadows and slowly walked over to where Thranduil and Elandere stood...her bare feet making no sound.
OOC: Sonoffa.... I wrote this looooonnnng bloody reply last night, and the computer acted up and erased it. -.- Sedatives. Plenty of sedatives. Wheeeee. Well, I'll do what I can now. BIC:
Xarik'n grinned, waiting. **Wait for it...** Faramir started walking a little farther away. **Wait for itttttttt....** He was almost towards a clearing..... **NOW!!!** He popped out of nowhere in front of the skeptical Faramir, his face not even an inch away from the man's. "HI!" he shouted; he adored surprising the living crap out of people. "Looking for something?" Grin. ~~~~~
Shanra chuckled at Alandis as well as Talli, stepping up from behind her and placing his face near her ear.... as he was infamously prone to doing. "Oh, yes, this water does indeed have healing properties; Sallia used to carry hundreds of little bottles with her while we were journeying...--- Don't be afraid to dunk your hands in it. Here, use this bottle..." He placed one of Sallia's also infamous glass bottles in her hand, placing his own around hers, uncapping it. "Cap it underwater. You'd be surprised, a little goes a long way." ~~~~~
Sallia watched Legolas leave, a bit frustrated. He should be helping as well... Legede would be a major help also, as would Shanra, or Talli, and she had no clue where any of them were. She glanced to the others, and then pointed to what appeared to be the main gathering place. "At sunset, there will be a meeting. Spread the word. We plan together, not apart; without all of us together, we will fail." She had taken on the solemnity of a general, and for once was acting a bit like the royalty she was supposed to be. That didn't last too long unless you point out the fact that everyone was more or less exploring the area, and she was doing much the same. With the same familiarity one would expect between lovers she took off to the treetops, making her way to the place she always went to to think. She traveled across trails until she arrived at the top of a mountain, a small one at least, approaching a clearing. Before her was a huge, pale-grey cliff that jutted out over the fields below, with a view that revealed miles upon miles of forested mountains; she plopped herself on the surface, letting her knees hang off of the edge. In the center of the field was the organism known as the Tree Mother, which stretched far above the wooded hills around her, with a trunk as thick as 7 houses placed together; even thicker vines entwined around the trunk, everything shimmering faintly. So was the magick of this place. The fields were filled with tall grasses and vibrant wildflowers, and the sun would be approaching the horizon in another three hours. While dangerous, it felt comforting to her. She sang both to the Mother as well as herself, thinking back over all that had happened. It had been a long, long time since all of this had started... Well, not THAT long, but it felt like ages. With everything that had happened, she wasn't surprised at the stress felt by her friends; she was actually taken aback that they were as resilient as they were. She just had to gather herself... Her thoughts also moved to her other mission she had to accomplish; she would have to leave shortly after they retrieved Legolia. She hated to leave Vala behind again, with him so young... She would have gone to spend time with him now, but she didn't want him to worry any. "Why are you alone???" his voice chimed in behind her as if on cue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Previously. ~~~~~~~ Vala could hardly contain his excitement at finally being able to run around and meet the new people; studies were boring, and it was hard for him to stay awake in such a monotonous environment. Outside, on the otherhand, provided for a diverse array of amusement; there were the horses, the other elves, Xarik'n, and his favorite, the forests. He mingled a bit...If you could call shyly peeking out at people behind trees mingling. He could just barely control his curiousity; unlike his mother, he had his father's willpower towards snooping. Then again with current events, it was questionable as to where he picked it up at all. He soon grew bored of the people, scampering into the forests instead. Over half of his time awake was spent among the trees; there were so many fascinating creatures and spirits and bugs and plants and things in the forests. His mother hand once told him you only had to ask a plant to find it's healing properties; while she wasn't serious, he found that it worked quite well. He was already surpassing what he was supposed to learn in his classes, much to the astonishment of the priests; if only his other subjects were so easy. It wasn't long before he came upon Legolas and Legede, but he swiftly hid before he was noticed. He hoped. His stealth was nearly impeccable for a child, but indeed, he had his mother's way of getting caught and finding trouble. Big surprise there. He pressed his back against the large, sturdy oak, eavesdropping. What was his father doing with this other man, and how were they related? He already knew where Mom would be; he had a sense for such things, and a priest had already told him of his mother's escapades. Not like you couldn't see the cliff from the fields, either. He watched but moreso listened intently, hoping to either catch his father alone, or not get caught.... Actually, kinda both. (Note: Dear Ashy-chan, if you could please help me play out this scene when you return, that would be awesome. =D *sweetest smile EVA!*)
Alandis jumped slightly at Shanra's voice, looking at him as he handed the glass bottle. When his hands went over her own did the woman suddenly find herself blushing. Becomming flustered, the Healer pulled away and instead focused on the object that she was given. Fingers tracing over the glass, she gave a faint smile and nodded her head. "Thank you..." she said, after clearing her throat, still holding it.
Talli raised a brow at the two, but didn't really care to understand what was going on between them. His body ached, and he just wanted to focus on getting to feeling better.
Sario watched Sallia leave, standing alone for a moment as she thought over what the woman had said. A meeting, to where she would have to inform everyone else. Her heart skipped a beat as she went over the list of people, two of whom she wasn't really looking forward to facing. But she had to do it, no matter how much it would pain her. Taking a deep breath, the Maia looked up to the trees as her face scrunched up in a slight frown. The look faded a minute later, and she headed down to find the others.
Rana sighed "maybe she does think we will return but why should people have to give up on homes they have lived in for so long, the darkness pushed us out and now we must push the darkness back or there will be no hope left" settling her hands in her lap and dropping her gaze to the hilt of her sword she began to wonder if it was worth trying to reclaim the city or better to start anew
