You know, we seldom ever talk about LEE in here anymore. xd
When's the last time we talked about the actual storyline? Like 4 pages ago?
I mean we've been going on about semi-relative topics for quite sometime now. Maybe we should try talking about something in the actual manga. Like the fact that the ending made me(And a lot of other people) wanna jump off a cliff. (I mean, GOSH! Ya make such an interesting manga and then end it with a horrible cliffhanger...with no sign of it ever continuing? That's really mean, Sugisaki-sensei! That's really, REALLY mean!)

I mean seriously! YOU NEVER END A MANGA IN THAT SITUATION! NEVER!
It's like, "BOOM!!" "BWAHAHA!!!!" "HOLY SH--!" "AHHHHH!! RUN AWAY!" The end. *Me: *Stares at the last page for 20 minutes with mouth wide open.**
(It was actually starting to get really interesting too.)
Not to mention the fact that we NEVER saw any real development in ANY of the characters! (Which really sucks because I liked most of them. crying ) I mean, yeah sure, some of them had some depth and there was a good range of personalities. But that's all for nothing if there's no development. But then again, you really can't expect the characters to develop in such a short time span. (The whole thing happens within a day or so.) So I guess it's off the hook for that. BUT STILL...! Worst. Ending. Ever. Period.[/endrant]
I also wish there was a little more fighting in there. It would have been more exciting. Plus, the middle was kinda boring to read. My friend said she almost fell asleep during the middle because of all the discussion going on. xD
But all the discussion ties in with the story and there was a lot of explanation so it wasn't so bad for people who actually like a story in their manga. (Like me.) But my brother really couldn't tolerate it. (He didn't even get past the third chapter.) He likes lots o' action and comedy in his manga and he said that it wasn't funny enough-- it was too serious.

I never thought about that, but you're right! There was no character development. Which could have been because it was so short, but still. In ways of character, they were indeed flat throughout the story. Though, like you stated, it was nice to have the variety. That did help a bit.
Also, wasn't there supposed to be an anime? I saw a trailor that looked like it was for the anime, but then it said special edition comics on sale march 2006 so I'm not sure anymore...

AmayaKahoru I know. I mean, if she was going to make a manga, she could at least put an end to it. Or, as you said, a more bearable cliffhanger! It was like she just wrote down and drew out her thoughts for the beginning of a new story and somehow they got published! The book could have been so good, if she actually kept up with it. I know I found the storyline somewhat interesting!

Well I think she might have put a little more work into it than that, but I don't understand why she makes her cliffhangers so bad. I mean, does she WANT to get killed by her fans or something?
Well hopefully now that LE is done in Asuka for awhile she might continue it someday.
But I do hope she doesn't end it like that forever, that story still has a lot of potential. I'd hate to see it just dropped like a hot potato.
Well it wouldn't be really natural to have the characters change dramatically within a day. So like I said; They're off the hook for that one.
But they did seem a bit flat like you said. Although some of them have depth because of the fact that they don't have depth, if you know what I mean.
I don't think anybody said anything about an anime. I think someone just assumed that there was one because of the animated short that you gave the link to. It could have been an animated ad for the Special Ed. manga for all we know.
But yeah, I really don't like the voice either. (Kinda makes me hope that there isn't an anime. Though I really liked how they did the animation in the short.)

I'm thinking she's going to combine LE and LEE. Well, no, I'm sure she's going to. She's already crossed them over a couple of times. So, maybe now that she is done with LE, maybe she'll continue on with LEE. Since the stories are beginning to join together and all.
Whatever's fine with me as long as she doesn't just drop it. Like you said, that story had great potential and I would hate not being able to see the ending. Its like DNAngel, she's just kind of put it aside for a while... I hope...

Yeah, that's what a lot of people think-- I even used to think that. But there's such a large story gap that needs to be filled; it'd be better if she just gave LEE a sequel THEN joined them together.
Oh and BTW, DNAngel is being continued sometime early next year. =D
