Woglinde Magenterange Woglinde The words I/me alone have many slang variants. For example, "Watakushi" is formal, polite, and respectful. , and is used by both sexes. "Watashi" is usually femanine. "Atai" and "Atashi" are popular and most popularly used. Atai is a bit more casual though. "Boku" is the masculine equivelent of "atashi" and is used by boys/younger men casually. "Washi" is peferred by older men. Thought to be a bit unsophisticated. I use boku because I like the kanji, 僕. It's much better than watashi, 私. I downloaded a great new font, it makes kanji so prettyful.
