(I'm sorry... I tried to explain it as best as possible....)
Treize began moving his squadron to join with Admiral Woolsey but the Eldar were not going to give up that easily. Their bombers and destroyers began concentrating on the engines hoping to pass through the shields in that section and disable them. The Eldar fighters congregated there as well to make sure that no one would interfere with their plans.

Tasha watched them and calculated her next move. It was clear they might have the upper hand with them all being phychic she hoped the language barrier would be enough to stop them from knowing everything.

Zooming along in orbit around the planet Deek was getting antsy. He hated Defensive formations. Always had. But due to what Sally had told him of the meeting he was rather confident. Psychic people always had problems with his kind. Sally and he now knew why they had been able to evade the enemy fire so easly compared to the other pilots. [Sally before we go in I want ya to know...I ...I ...If I don't make it . Mail my a** to Zechs. Hahahahaha. Can ya imagine the look on his face. Lets kill us some space fairies.] Sallys laugh echoed through the cockpit. [ You almost had me that time you insensitive jerk]

Hyperion was about half way to the rendezvous point when the larger Eldar ships began their attack. Massive beams of blue energy fired forth from their main batteries, breaching the shields of Hyperion and several other ships in Treize's squadron and other squadrons throughout the system.
Treize slammed his fist down on the table, "get those shields back up, now! direct all rail gun fire in that area, and we need fighters to give us some breathing room!" The larger ships darted away again, like a school of fish, but not before they disabled most of the ships under his command, as well as destroying a couple others others. Several UNSC ships were destroyed all throughout the system. But it was not for nothing, they had destroyed 4 Eldar Carriers, a Battleship, and even 3 more Cruisers.

Tasha gritted her teeth the numbers just didn't look good. "Crap crap crap." She didn't like losing her people so easily. At this rate she might not even be around. Their ships were just that much faster. "We need a plan.... but they can read minds...everything we do might be monitored."

"What's the damage report?"
"Our sublight engines are down, as well as the Gettysburg, York, Brussels, and Hornet."
"What is the status on our Hyperdrive?"
"Still operational sir, why?"
"Prepare to jump to the planet, behind the orbital mine field."
"But sir, if the calculations are off even by a little we could..."
"I know the risk." He knew the risk well. Calculating Hyperdrive jumps were dangerous, that is why usually they calculated to exit on the outskirts of the system where they could avoid debris. It was strict regulation to never exit near a planet, if the calculations were off even by a little the ship could end up in the gravity well and get pulled down to the surface or worse they could end up inside the planet. But without sublight engines the calculations had to be perfect because there was no fixing any mistake they might make. "Spin up the Hyperdrive engines and inform the fighters that we are about to jump. Tell them to keep the Eldar off us long enough.... hopefully they can make it to the Rendezvous point on their own." This was a hard decision for Treize. He would be leaving his entire fighter force on it's own with no protection from the capital ships, but he knew he had to do it.

Tasha hit her controls, she knew a lot of them wouldn't make it but she could understand the decisions they had to make and choose from. She might have done the same had she not been the one of the people being left behind. "Alright be prepared to meet at the rendevous point. We must get past them and make sure they are not folliwing us as well meaning we are going to have a fight at our hands." Tasha hoped the others made it as well. Doing what they were was horribly dangerous.

Mr. Tanaka signaled silently that the Hyperdrives were ready, and with one word Treize gave the order: "jump." All of the ships disappeared in a bright flash except two. One of them their Hyperdrives were already offline, the others failed right as it was about to jump.
The Eldar ships swooped down upon them like vicious birds of prey and fired powerful lances of blue energy that cut right through them, destroying the wounded ships with ease. Now the real chaos happened for the remaining fighter pilots. Without the capital ships to occupy their time the Eldar fighters now directed all of their considerable force to systematically destroy the human fighters.
***
In orbit of Epsilon Indi 3 there was a series of bright flashes and out of these the remainder of Treize's squadron appeared. They were lucky and all of the ship's had calculated their jumps perfectly; well, almost. One battleship, Brussels, had exited too close to the planet, and since it's sublight engines were also offline it could do nothing to escape the gravity of the planet. Escape pods shot off of the ship and it lit up like a fiery red meteor as it began it's descent through the atmosphere. Everyone on the bridge of Hyperion watched the battleship go down, hoping against all reason that maybe they could save themselves. But then the captain on board her gave the order to detonate all of the nukes to destroy ship instead of it becoming a danger to the civilians below. There was nothing left.
Treize did not have time to mourn the loss of those lives, or any others for that matter. His attention went immediately to his fighter forces that he had left behind.

Having watched the retreat with the rest of the rear guard Deek and Sally could feel their moment approaching. As soon as those alien jerks hit the mine field they were gonna hit them hard and fast. [Sally you got the mine maps ready?] While human fighters had been denied maps of the mine field Deek had requested and been granted access due in not small part to his nature at a Mecha.[You bet. This is gonna be nuts.] Deek laughed for what he hoped was not the last time" Ok Sally prepare for full merger and maximum output from the menuvring engines. In 3.....2.....1." Deek felt himself delude into the programing stew. Deek Sally and all the minor programs that made the fighter function became as one.
MacEnna Opened eyes on to the universe and delighted in what was to come. In a voice made of the thousand artificial noises that make up the language of they that are home in the void MacEnna spoke. " Now they come. Like lambs to the slaughter."
( yup they merged for the fight. That means They are pulling out all the stops. And some time soon Deek and Sally will be aware that Zechs is free. They are a few of the only people that would receive his distress call. It just took a long time due to distance.)

Tasha had some trouble avoiding being hit by all these attackers luckily her team had stayed close together for better stragety and protection. Although they couldn't quite out manuver all of these things they could gang up on some particular ones and manage to retreat more and more to where they needed to go as they became less noticed the further they got. Tasha cursed when one of her people blew up beside her putting her in danger as well as the others with the explosion. She didn't have time for losses right now only how many she could get out safely as well as herself. They retreated more nad more as they could as they became less noticed and more away from the fight at hand three were able to escape with Tasha. She hoped more would make it.

(Transformers! More than meets the eye >_>... yeah)
More fighters did escape the chaos of that battle, but many more were destroyed. The Eldar let the remaining fighter force retreat and only sent a few fighters after them to do some more damage.
The battlefield looked like this: Treize's squadron of mostly damaged ships was hiding behind the minefield in orbit of Epsilon Indi 3. The MacEnnas were also in orbit of the planet, but a little ways away. Tasha and her fighters are retreating to rejoin Treize's squadron. Admiral Woolsey's squadron, and the combined forces of the remaining UNSC forces were gathering not too far from the minefield. Finally Eldar capital ship squadrons were moving about all over. And now they began circling the main Human Fleet like hungry sharks, waiting to strike. They sent forth their fighters to attack the UNSC Fleet and from a distance dozens of little explosions of yellows and blues could be seen all throughout the human fleet.
(Those explosions are the fighters dukeing it out... so you are not confused)

Tasha hated to leave so many behind there was no tactic it seemed that would beat these ships. They were weak when you could hit them because they were light enough to move around a bunch. They needed a plan something to beat these guys. A trap maybe? In order to do that though they needed to get to safety and regroup and that just wasn't possible with the Eldar all over the fighters and everyone they could see. Tasha was lucky to be alive with her group. The only plan she could think of was getting one fighter ship to follow them so they could capture the Eldar and talk to it or at least get a bunch of mind readers on it to see what they could find. Again to share such plans they needed to get back to the main ships without being killed or followed.

With the battle well and truly joined MacEnna slipped into the mine field like a crocodile entering it's favored watering hole. As it darted easily around the mines MacEnna slowly released Probe after probe. The little space robots would attach to the mines using the safety codes and move them if Enemies tried to get around them. Now all that was left was to lure some prey into the field.
Coming out on the other side of the mine field MacEnna spotted an enemy Battle ship. It's fighters were occupied with the UNSC fighters before it. Seeing an opportunity to good to pass up MacEnna Ramped up in speed. Before the enemy battle ship had even noticed the tiny fighter it had gotten with in range to fire it's Arc cannon. As the Eldar collectively realized the threat; the Cannon belched a mighty stream of pure electricity aimed directly at the engine.
( and this mighty arc cannon fires. As a note The arc is a fighter weapon due to its Very short range. It fires pure electricity designed to puncture shields and cause mechanical failure. Also the whole MacEnna thing is not an upgrade so much as Deek merging with his ship so as to get a better grasp of combat. Kinda like how First person view is way better for shooting then third in a video game.)

(The Mines can move themselves, but if you want to specifically move them then I guess it makes sense to attach probes. Also, the Arc Cannon, is it like a conventional weapon, causing explosions? or sorta like an EMP?)
The Arc Cannon passed through the shields and then struck the Eldar's engines. The mighty Battleship began to slow down and was soon a sitting duck (I know there is no friction in space... but maybe they are close enough to be affected by gravity?... don't argue with my logic!!! >_>) making it a perfect target to the UNSC fleet. They fired a hail of missiles both those with conventional explosives and those with nukes. Some were destroyed by the Eldar's torpedoes, but plenty more got through. Several Nuclear explosions went off ripping the Eldar battleship apart.
The Eldar were very displeased with this turn of events and sent 3 Destroyers and a squadron of fighters to destroy this new threat. As they raced towards MacEnna their deadly energy weapons started firing in a shower of beautiful blue.
