Deidra appeared out of thin air from the gate's entrance and grabbed his hand. "C'mon..." She dragged him by the hand into the gate/portal entrance. The next thing Tasuki knew he was standing on the lake itself staring at the grounds of a very large castle made of pearl white stone and surrounded a vast garden full of flowers at their full bloom. In the center of the castle, a large ominous tower stood, as if standing guard to watch over the grounds. From the looks of the vast number of windows, it looked at least 8 stories tall and was built to look like Warwick Castle of England. "Home sweet, bloody, home." Deidra muttered.

Whoa! Very nice. I approve. A portal and everything. And the standing on water is a nice touch, too.

Deidra walked over the water towards the edge where giant weeping willows marked the edge where the garden met the lake. "Well the water is at least 80 meters deep so if I get mad at you, I hope you can swim..." She walked among the drooping branches of one of the larger willows and closed her eyes and took a deep breathe and seemed to drop the rebel-schoolgirl attitude. "My sanctuary..."

Same to you, cuteness. Hmmm...very nice indeed. Don't think I've seen a set up this nice since...well, before I was sealed up.

Deidra looked away before Tasuki could see the sadness creep across her face. She cleared her throat and climbed up the tree to sit in one its branches hanging over the water. "My father buitl this castle for my mother as a symbol of his eternal love for her. It was my mother that planted all the flowers here herself and cared for them in her free time." She reached down and ran her hands through the water. "When they died, the castle and its surrounding grounds were given to us immediately for us to use as we wished." A teardrop fell into the water causing a slight ripple. Deidra rubbed at her face before sitting up. "We don't really mind being the only people here. The castle cleans itself, unless I make a big mess, but life is good here..."

Hn...Cracks in the armor. Hit a nerve, did I? Perhaps. I see. A few painful memories, eh?

Deidra felt her face melt into her usual cold indifference and she looked away. "I'm used to being alone. No body bothers me and I don't get along with humans anyway..." She shrugged, but inwardly, she felt the her soul grow cold as if it sprouted ice wings.

Join the club. I never really got along with my kind, either. I'm no saint, none of us really can be, but I'm not as bad as most of my kin. Two of kind, eh? What a coincidence that you're the one who happened upon me, hm?

Deidra shrugged. Yes, how fortunate... she thought bitterly. She slid off the tree onto the ground and headed towards the castle entrance. "Where do you prefer sleeping?"

Wherever you feel like putting me. Hell, if it's too much trouble I can just sleep in the woods. *Ah! Much better!*

Deidra paused in mid step and turned to face Tasuki. Her eyes went wide for a moment and seemed to lose feeling in her legs, because she wobbled as she walked over to stand next to him. She closed her eyes and her body started to shake. "Your dragon form..." she whispered softly and opened her eyes to gaze at his scars. She reached out and tentively traced her hand along a particular scar that ran along his lower right leg.

*I'll take that as a compliment. Pretty cool, ne?* *Ah, yes. Elric gave me that one. Particularly annoying and psychotic necromancer. Made a nice lightning rod, though.* *You know, you should feel honored. You're the first human to see me like this and live.*

Deidra looked right into Tasuki's eyes. "Hai.." she whispered before her courage failed her. She turned and slowly began to rub her hand along his jawline, careful to avoid the mouth and a few of the teeth that protruded from it. "You look magnificent." she murmured softly. Her gaze softened as she moved to rub a spot behind his right ear. "When I was a child, I used to listen to the elders tell the young ones stories about past event in the covens history." She sat down and leaned her back against Tasuki's body. "There was always one tale that always stuck out of my mind..." She closed her eyes and took a deep breathe.

Dawn sighed. "Well its kinda hard to act as parent to your twin sister and keeping the school parole officer at bay at the same..." She found her notebook and cringed as she found it was bent in all four corners and have cigarette burns in the center. "Not to mention, trying to keep someone from picking the lock and messing with my stuff."

Aslynn waved her hand over the spiral muttering a spell under her breath. The corners went back to their original place and the burn mended. The spiral showed no signs of ever having been ruined and no one else seemed to notice the change. "Your really are tired, if you want a break you can stay at my place."
