The archer didn't respond, far too caught up into getting the correct aim and power needed for this shot. Just the slightest gusts of wind could make him miss altogether. Watching the behemoth get further away, he held his breath as he loosed the arrow.

As the arrow flew through the air, it gained power, the charging of the attack doing its job. It then whooshed to the behemoth, embedding itself deeply into the cracked armor. The beast roared in agony, being greatly weakened to start with. It slowed more in a steady manner, before finally collapsing upon the ground, labored breathing apparent by the way its body rose and fell.

"I think that's the end of him. He must have been pretty close to death beforehand," the archer stated, acknowledging Kuro. He then relaxed, noticing that the behemoth was now quite still.

Hearing his heartbeat speed up as the beast fell, Kuro soon realised that he could feel the tremor caused by the beast`s fall from that distance. "It`s done?" He walked to the beast, who wasn`t moving at all. "These aren`t the type to fake death. I`d say it`s genuinly dead." He was finally able to relax after battle, sighing to relieve the built up pressure.

He returned to the two from Virgo. "I`d invite you into the order, but i`m afraid our disorder and heavy armament from our upcoming building plans would make your stay... uncomfortable." He tried to disuade them from coming inside, without sounding like he was hiding something, yet giving an excuse for the military buildup at the same time. "Oh excuse me... what brings you to the Great Order of Aries?"

The archer sighed, not sure of what he was saying. But, they were really just sent to see the sights that could be seen. And he was doing just that. "First, I did want to apologize for the earlier moments," he answered.

"We also were curious if you knew something we didn't," the priest stated, looking around as he revealed he had returned. "The situation is getting worse, yes, but...why come for Virgo first?"

The archer shook his head. "He makes it sound like it was everyone, but it's really just him. He insisted he'd go with when I mentioned what happened..."

"Err..." the priest's face grew sheepish. "He...he's right."

The monster was eventually taken down, although he played a relatively minor role on the defeat of the monster, in fact, he mostly commanded the tank commandeer to keep firing at the Behemoth after casting Firaga to get some rest from his energy and made a hasty retreat all the way back to the Aries HQ to rest his energy, well more like it, he was escorted out of the battle field and forced to be in command of the cannons at the risk of losing the Judge.

He begun to walk towards the Great Behemoth that has caused him nothing but a headache to him, and as a show of his arrogance, he shoved his sword into the Behemoth's head, "Heh, that's what you get for messing with the Great Order of Aries!" Lyrac said as he pushed his sword deep down into the Behemoth even further, releasing some of his frustrations at it, much less his anger. "Soldiers! Cut this Behemoth to pieces! We shall dine of this monsters meat tonight!" Lyrac shouted. (catch the 300 quote here).

The priest blanched at the sight of Lyrac putting the sword into the behemoth's head, and decided to try to ignore it. However, the archer marched right over to Lyracine. Plans changed with the judge's appearance.

"You would be Judge Lyracine, correct?" he asked, bowing his head a little in respect. "I'm an archer from the Order of Virgo and your arc knight had come to us asking for an alliance. I was curious as to what your feelings were concerning this."

"My feelings? You mean that Alliance that he left me on that miserable jail after all I did to him! My feelings of this alliance is meaningless, after all Aries, can handle things on our own regardless of the threat that stands against us!" Lyracine replied, although being careful to not release that the fact that he has an intention to take over all of the Orders under him.

The archer nodded, though perhaps a bit disappointed. "Then I believe we will take our leave," he stated, looking around. The area was heavily armed. However, Aries was known to be quiet warlike. It wasn't too out of the ordinary to see this much. "Then, may your Belias keeps the fires of war far from Aries."

He turned and walked away, getting to the priest. "Let's go home."

The priest nodded and they went back for their chocobos, mounting, then heading out.

After a long time of searching, Torruun had finally found his pendant. But when he picked it up, he collapsed, and fell unconsious, but not before he smiled at the pendant...He seemed to be relitively at peace....for now.

Listening to the conversation between the archer and his judge, Kuro couldn`t help but feel angry that he turned them down. Yeat, instead of crying over the spilt milk, he turned back to the behemoth, which most knights were now attempting to carry back to the order, and started thinking of ways of using the tought bones to benefit the order. 'Bone weapons would be cool, but we don`t have enough knights...'

Lyrac would walk start to walk away, till in the corner of his eye, he saw that dragoon that fought earlier, and he walked towards the unconcious man, and knelt down, "He's still alive.. that's good.. KURO! GET YOUR FAT BUTT IN HERE! Someone's injured!" Lyrac shouted t Kuro.

Hearing Lyrac calling him, Kuro sheathed his sword and ran at full speed towards him. As he ran, he tried to make out who was injured. Arriving in frantic mood, Kuro knelt by Torruun. First, he checked his pulse, then once finding that his heart was still beating regularly, checked his breathing. After finding nothing wrong with either of them, he started looking for any possible injuries to the head, seeing no excessive bleeding that would cause him to pass out. "I think he`s just sleeping... we should bring him to the infirmary to rest though." He stood up and stretched, "You had me worried there for a second."

"Yeah, he saved me a while back in the desert by Mount Lunarus. He`s a knight from Aquarius." He paused a moment, trying to assume the reaction he would get and thought of how to counteract it, "They would be helpful allies, seeing as our naval fleet is... nonexistant."

Why.. you... I should have you strung for that thought Lyrac as he was slightly irritated about the comment, but although he was right, even if he did hate having to ally with such a weakling Order. Although this man did save Kuro's life, and he has to uphold the honor... that and they really lacked a naval power.

He stood up, and after a somewhat akward silence "Fine! Take him in and cure his injuries and I'll probably open a damn negotiations with Aquarius' Judge or something." Lyrac said as he begun to walk away from Kuro, "In the meantime, I'm gonna head to the bar and grab a drink or two"

"Two things," Kuro said, standing up and calling for a few knights to carry the dragoon to the infirmary, "Don`t show up too drunk, and don`t mention we have one of theirs." He yawned, still tired from his trip, "We don`t want them thinking we have a hostage or anything." Seeing the knights come for Torruun, he started walking to the order and turned back to Lyrac, "Other than that, yeah. Go have a few drinks."
