*Trent doubled-over in pain, rolling off of Sirence’s knee, and because Sirence still held his wrist, he twisted his arm as well. He let out a gasp as his arm twisted beyond its “comfort point.”* “That’s one helluva way to break the ice.” he said with gritted teeth *Trent beat his wings, throwing his body into a front flip, and as he came around, he kicked his left leg towards Sirence’s head.*
At first Sirence had gained the upper hand, holding Trent’s weight suspended from his twisted arm. However he had dealt with one or two people whom had a fifth and sixth limb of one kind or another so the large wing flapping past his head shouldn’t have caught him off guard, no less the leg which followed. He had little time to react beyond releasing Trent’s wrist. As quickly as he could, though it came half a second too late Sirence moved to block the foot speeding toward his head but only had time enough to grab hold of it before being knocked off balance and feeling the cold swell and sting across the right side of his face.
*Trent, now in the air, smiled. He had hit his target, even thought that target was weighing him down. The extra didn’t bother him though, compared to Tiki, Sairiel, and Karin, Sirence’s weight was nothing. So Trent beat his wings harder and faster, bringing them up to about 50 feet in the air, where he stopped, check to make sure he was headed in the right direction, and took off towards the Lynshade.* ~Raedra, tell me, exactly 1.5 seconds before I hit that wall thing, okay?~ ~I don’t know what your going to do, but I will help you, Little One.~ “Ok, here we go…” *Trent sped up a great deal, now about 5 seconds from the Lynshade.*
Sirence clung tightly to Trent’s ankle, his own feet dragging for only a second before Trent lifted them much higher. He began to make a slow but steady climb up Trent’s leg, focusing his own energies out his feet to force him foreword. Well into the air he began to question Trent’s motives but it was much too late when he finally came to the realization that the LynShade was mere feet from them. Certain that he could somehow use Trent to shield him from the monstrosity which his master had summoned for him, he did not worry. (Worry he should have… but that would be the last time he would even mildly underestimate Trent) Sirence climbed Trent’s leg and was nearly upon his waste at the point (Raedra would call out and) they nearly met the Lynshade.
~Now!~ *Trent pulled hard right, at the same time, he whipped his left leg out, flinging Sirence towards the Lynshade. Trent almost winced at the remembrance of himself slamming into the Lynshade, and for a split-second, felt bad for making Sirence go through the same thing. It wasn’t enough care to make him stop though. He beat his wings one last time, a thrust that would send him in a spiraling motion, just to add more force to Sirence’s impact.*

Dameon Felt a Little relieved that Contay had some partial control in the situation. The glow faded from his eyes, but there was still worry in his heart. It was probably mostly based on the fact that he was STILL seperated from everyone by a damn BARRIER! He did have an idea of how he could help trent, but he was so rusty at it he would only have enough power to try once, he'd have to wait. Trent had no chance on his own. Dameon knew he could change that, it was just a case of waiting for the right moment.

*Sairiel stired at Contay's kiss and after that her temperature seemed to slowly return to normal and she started to snuggle Karen, still well asleep*

Sirence had no say in the matter, his body swung full force into the LynShade. For a moment it appeared as though Trent had pulled out of his attack too soon but Sirence, on contact, instantly released Trent’s body, his own becoming limp momentarily as he blacked out and began his whirling descent. Sirence regained himself but continued to fall, he kept his eyes closed but kept an inner eye on Trent’s location. Sirence would play hard if that’s how the boy wanted it… he would play dead and wait for Trent’s next move.
*Trent watched Sirence fall to the ground while he floated in the sky. He wondered to himself why he had had so much trouble fighting Sirence earlier, but shrugged it off, knowing it didn't matter. He flapped both his wings a few times before diving straight for Sirence's limp body. He alighted next to Sirence and kneeled over his limp body. He smirked and grabbed Sirence's shirt, lifting him high in the air.* "Some warrior..." *Trent places his free hand in front of Sirence's chest, open palmed, and a spark emits from the center of his palm. The spark begins to grow in size until it becomes a fireball about the size of a grapefruit.* "Goodbye..."
*A small twinge of a smile appeared at the corner of Sirence's mouth before he took a long, slow, deep breath inward.* "Fool..." *He whispered softly though it would be hard for Trent to hear him over the crackling flames at his chest. A second deep breath in, but this time Sirence lifted his limp head and in one swift motion he pulled the life from the flames into himself and let the backlash of energy being pulled, push Trent backward and away. After all, all things pulled will pull back, eventually. The shear force of the push kept him in the air, softly hovering for a few moments with no effort. Any of Sirence's strength that had been diminished during their fight had returned with that simple act.* "Stupid boy... you have not learned?" *Sirence had an oddly maddened smirk spread across his face, an expression none had seen on him (maybe Glenmark though). Sirence finally dropped to the ground.* "Come here!" *Sirence commanded as he began to stroll slowly toward where Trent had been thrown roughly.*

*Trent had the wind, and more, knocked out of him. He was laying on his back, wings wrapped around him in a protective shell, but his shell had not saved him from the impact of the burst or the fall, and as such he was bruised and sore.* "Son of a..." but that was all he could get out before his chest was panged with pain again *Trent had assumed too much, and he got cocky. He always did. He let his stupid pride and excitement get in the way before he even won, but it was too late now. He was knee-deep in a fight, that he had to win or face death. And the latter was not an option. He had too much riding on the outcome where he can still breath.* "Karin... Sairiel... Dameon... they need me...." *Trent could feel Sirence's foot falls now, he was getting closer, and Trent had no idea what to do... but he knew someone who did.* ~Haven't abandoned this fool yet?~ ~Little one, even if I could, I wouldn't think or dream of it.~ ~I think we have one last shot at this... Mother.~ *It would be impossible to explain with words, the rush of emotion that flowed from Raedra at this moment. Though she was not his birth mother, she was always with him, teaching him and helping him, like a mother would. She always wished that she could be called mother by her little one. And now, if you can imagine.... The greatest dream of a Dragon Queen, has been fulfilled, and her emotions flowed with Trent's, as their minds became one.* ~Together~ they said in unison *Trent's wings caved into his body, from all sides, the energy being absorbed and multiplied by the sheer force of their entwined emotions. They stood, as one, and faced Sirence.* "We hope your ready for us."
"Am I supposed to be worried now?" *Sirence appeared to be unimpressed by the fool and his dragon which stood before him now. Sirence's face showed no emotion or thought, only stillness and he called pinches of his core energy, spirit energy, to the surface and it wrapped loosely around his head like an invisble blindfold and he closed his eyes to the commonly visable world.* "I dance with royalty frequently, do you think you'll be different?" *Not a smirk. No evidence of life came from Sirence's body but his words. Sirence held his stillness studying his opponant further for a short moment before he sighed softly.* *Sirence was poised only a few feet away from Trent when he finally made a move. It was very unlike Sirence to make a move first, much less charge someone, but charge he did, 'blind' and vicious as he went. Sirence made a false swing for Trent's left ear but was infact a knee to his hip, just below the hip bone to dislocate one of the boy's legs.*
*Trent was surprised at Sirence's move, not the actual attack, but the fact that he moved first, but he wasn't surprised enough. Trent dropped all assumptions from his mind, all guess work, because now, he had two pairs of eyes, two sets of ears, and there was little that he couldn't perceive now. From two angles he judged the fist, which he saw to be off enough to miss, or maybe a false hit? He couldn't be sure, but he knew it wouldn't hit him. Then Raedra pulled their attention to Sirence's concealed attack, which was well performed, and had they not been working together, would have landed painfully, but Trent's arm shot down, blocking the knee. The other arm following through with the fist, guiding it past him, while he ducked and dashed foward slightly, so that now, Sirence was behind him.* "Your quite the dancer. I'm impressed. Do you know how to... Tango?" *Trent spun lightly on his heel to face Sirence again.*
Sirence held his stance for a moment after Trent words, his head down, eyes still closed. He lightly laced spirit energy around Trent's feet not enough to stop, just trip him should he move again. "Basic training." *Sirence replied coolly as he too spun on his heel. "But Tango takes two, not three... you'll have to do it without me." *Sirence moved again, an open handed slap to Trent's right ear followed by for two false punches for his face. He wanted only to provoke Trent's actions, perhaps his anger or perhaps the dragon's.*
*Trent didn't move. The slap stung, as it should have. But he didn't flinch. He let the first punch come and go, without hitting him, and the second one, only milliseconds in following, he grabbed. He ducked and spun, sweeping his leg towards Sirence's*
*Sirence jumped as Trent's leg swang toward him, it would seem that he jumped a little early. Sirence put more force into his drop in hopes of landing on Trent's leg and breaking it, but the timing may be off if Trent noticed. This sort of thing was easier on untalented opponants, but the backlash wouldn't leave him at too much of a disadvantage.*
*Trent was so sure that his kick would land, with Sirence's off-timed jump, that when Sirence forced himself down quick on his leg, Trent had no time to react, and hoped Sirence would miss, but the fates were not on his side. Sirence landed on the leg, but the legs current movement caused Sirence's feet to be off center when the leg crashed into the ground.* "Grah!* Trent exclaimed in pain *It hurt, but it was not broken, the tendon in his leg however, landed on a rock, and was injured immensly. His movement would be greatly slowed. He was pinned for the moment, with Sirence above him, he could do nothing but sit there.* "Well?..." *Trent gritted his teeth as he talked, the pain was building in intensity as time went by.* "What's next hot-shot?"
"You leave me the girl, she is mine after all." *Sirence glared down in Trent's direction, his eyes still closed with spirit energy flowing smoothly over them.* "If you don't leave me the girl... I'll have to kill each of you until I have her. Why bother giving your life and the lives of those around you for some girl you don't know?" *Sirence didn't actually care as he spoke, and his voice gave that away. Then his face lost expression again,* "My apologies we meet like this, it is poor fortune that you inhabit such a frail body at this time." *Sirence was speaking to the dragon and not the boy.* "Good day to both of you." *Sirence bounced on Trent's injured leg for good measure and moved past him toward Sairiel and Karen again.*
*Trent grunted as Sirence added further injury to his leg.* "Your a real a*****e." *Trent stood, gritting his teeth at the pain.* "Your just gonna walk like that? Your not going to finish the fight? Do you honestly think that because you injured my leg, that I can't fight anymore?" *Trent's leg began to glow as tendrils of blood red energy coursed around it in a orbital pattern. The energy shrank until it absorbed into his leg. He lifted his leg off the ground and moved it this way and that.* "All better." he said in a mocking tone *Releasing his wings again, he darted quickly to the front of Sirence.* "I may not know exactly why I'm protecting her, nor do I really have a good reason for it, but I'm not too fond of the idea of you getting your hands on her, regardless of whether or not you have more a right than I."

*Contay closed her own eyes, keeping them open did nothing for her as she stood within the lynshade. The inside of the lynshade was like walking through a house made of perfectly clear glass. Contay would have been walking blindly but she sent her fire forward to walk her through the paths and endless halls within the lynshade.* "Where are you?" *She called in a cool soft tone as though coaxing a scared creature from its hiding place.*

*Karin breathed a sigh of relief as Sairiel's cold flash resolved. The poor girl was the epicenter of so much, as far as Karin could tell. A smile spread across Karin's face as Sairiel snuggled her.* "Maybe this isn't so bad, she's so peaceful... and so cute!"
*Karin had been trying to keep her attention attached to the sleeping girl; she did not want to watch the fight. She knew that if her brother got into trouble, she would stupidly join the fray, and for better or worse, she could not predict. And she cringed as every crash, slam, and thud was made audible. She tried sleeping, but that didn't work, the mental awareness of what was occurring wouldn't let her. She resolved to playing with Sairiel's silky hair.*

"You would keep me from my little sister?" *Sirence's voice was still emotionless as these were not truely his thoughts or words, only his mission.* "Then I'll force your hand..." *Sirence's eyes flicked to Sairiel and the girl beside her, Karen.* "Poor girl, she's mine now too..." *A thick collar of hot air swirled around Karen's neck before it solidified into a cold hard 'fabric' choker, which did just that, choke-her.* "Step down, fool. Don't test me, I can make it worse..."

*Karen scratched at the collar, feeling it's tight embrace.* "Tre..." *But it was too tight for her to get words out. She stopped scratching, it would get her nowhere. She looked up, at Sirence, with eyes full of tears. She hid all pain and fear. She had died before, and her brother had rescued her even from death. She continued to gaze at Sirence, with peaceful eyes.*

*Trent spun on his heel and almost died right there.* "Karin..." *She looked like and angel, but he could see her fire dwindling. He could do nothing but stand down, he wouldn't risk her life again...* "Stop... Sirence... you say Sairiel is your sister... then I..." *Trent's mind was buzzing with what to do, but he didn't listen to options, he turned to Sirence and knelt.* "Let my sister live, and you may have yours, but, do not spare me. If I am to fail this task then... as my last wish, it is that you strike me down." *Trent bowed his head.* "If I fail, I will be as good as dead anyway. So please, do not hesitate.* ~What are you doing my little one!?~ ~Please trust me mother.~ ~With what am I trusting you?~ ~Do you want this man destroyed as much as I do?~ ~And more. No one harms you and gets away with it.~ ~Then, when our heads meet, I want you to destroy him, like a bull in a china shop.~

Dameon's eyes narrowed at the words he heard. He assumed he must have misheard trent and kept relistening to the sentences in his head. They remained the same. Anger welled up in him, he lost any grip on his energy that he may have had. Chaos was flowing out of him like a burst watermain. His eyes glistened slightly but a quick blink caused that display to fade. A slip of concideration hit him but the anger didn't fade. "You better be bluffing Trent..." he said half under his breath in a promise he knew he would easily keep. "... or I will kill you slowly and painfully."

*Sirence's face remained emotionless though Karin's collar fell near limp about her neck. The energy about his eyes dissipated and he looked down at Trent. He lifted the boy, a hand on either shoulder, and forced his spirit energy up and around him, wrapping him tightly like a cocoon.* I'll not allow you that honor this day... *With the boy's arms and legs pinned tightly to his body, Sirence smirked, letting his guard faultier from the 'helpless' boy before him.* "You and your sister are not what I'm after, just my own. Worse things will happen if I don't take her to see him soon. Good day dragon queen and her fool."

"Indeed." *And with the biggest of grins, Trent head-butted Sirence. Trent wasn't expecting the instant weakness that his body felt, but having the whole of Raedra consciousness leave him like that was hard to handle. Trent had forcibly projected Raedra's spiritual being into Sirence's mind. His body went limp, hanging in the air, suspended by Sirence. He suspected that if this worked, he would not be hanging much longer. He also suspected that the ground would hurt quite a bit when he met it.*
